Jay-jay's POV
"Do you know?" I asked Kuya Angelo. He didn't answer. He just looked at me with his arms crossed. "Do you know... Am I right?" I asked again. Kuya took a deep breath and nodded slightly. That's it! "Is that why you don't want to let me go?" "That's not the point here----" "I don't care about your point!" I shouted, causing his eyebrows to meet. I was afraid of him but I was more afraid of knowing the truth. "If I explain what you're asking, you won't get anything rom me." "But I have the right to know! That's my father..." I said and my tears started to fall again. "I'm not the one who will explain it to you. Aunt Jeana will be here tomorrow. You should ask her that." I looked Kuya in his eyes. "Don't let her come here. I don't want to see her." I don't want to see her. I'm already feeling bad about what I found out, don't make him feel any worse. "Jay----" "I DON'T WANT TO SEE HER!" I shouted and quickly ran to my room. I locked the door as soon as I closed it. I couldn't hold back my tears. It hurt so much to know that they still knew where my dad was but they didn't even tell me anything. He was just a few steps away. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Aries's POV I put ice on the ice bag I was holding again. I have to admit, Keifer's punch to me still hurt so much. I don't know if it's because I haven't fought in a long time or if he just took out his anger on me. The way he looked at me, it's the same look when he punched because of Ella. What does it mean? "Aries..." Kuya called me. "...I thought you'll keep an eye on her?" "Sorry... We separated the place." "Your sorry won't change anything. They've met." He said to me annoyed. Tsss. Why didn't he just let the two meet? Jay-jay is lucky after all. Her father is doing all the effort just to ï¬nd and be with her. Unlike mine. What is he trying to do? To meet me to ask for money. Sometimes I think it's better if Jay-jay just killed her. I know, it's a bad thing to think like that but no one can blame me. My phone rang in a short time and ollowed by a text message. I thought it was Ella, so I get my phone immediately. But I'm wrong. I delete the text message and shut down my phone. How did he know my phone number? +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Jay-jay's POV I've already beaten the criminal who escaped from prison. Because... I didn't want to see him so I spent my time thinking about how to escape. Never mind! Here I am now, riding my bike. Going to a place I don't know. I went through the window behind the house. Joke! I just waited for Kuya to leave, then I went to the front to get my bike. Aries saw me but that guy didn't care about me . I was also mad at him! He knew that too. But after all, we just quit. I know something he doesn't know. I know Percy is alive. Keifer and I told him not to tell him. We're not sure what Percy's plan is yet. But until now, I'm still waiting for his text or call. There are times when I don't let my phone go out of my sight or away from me. Speaking of phone, Kuya is calling me. It's up to him! I'm not going to confront that woman. She's also leaving soon so I can go home today too. I continued biking and to be honest, I just noticed that the road was going uphill. I was having a bit of trouble pedaling. I stopped for a moment and looked around. It seemed amiliar to me. I went back to pedaling while continuing to observe the people I was passing. Until I realized something. This place is on its way to Keifer's! How did I get here without realizing it? That's crazy! Did my bike have a mind of its own and decided to go alone? My phone rang again. An unknown number was calling. I didn't want to answer but it might be Percy. "H-hello?" ["Where are you?"] The person on the other line asked. I didn't recognize his voice. But I knew it wasn't Percy. And whoever it was, why would I tell him? "Who are you? Do you care where I am?" ["I'm asking you a question. Answer it!"] My eyebrow raised at what he said. He was so mean to order me around! "Hey! Whoever you are, don't be stupid! Why should I tell you where I am?! You don't even introduce yourself! If you can't do anything sensible, don't bother me! Don't bother me!" I said annoyed. ["Tss."] Oh! I already know. Just a few seconds later, I knew who it was. There are only two of them like that. ["..You know a lot."] The King of the Cobras said annoyed. "What do you need?!" ["Where are you?!"] I looked around me. Should I tell him I was on the road near them? Probably not, he might think I was stalking him. "On the road." I replied. ["Be speciï¬c."] Oh my! "I don't know. I'm just riding my bike." I heard a gate open on his side. His head turned outward. ["Kindly turn around."] He commanded. Even though I was confused, I did so. And just as I turned around, Keifer appeared, wearing shorts and a t-shirt, standing in front of the gate. Why was he here? I looked around the entire place. It turned out to be their house, I just noticed it now. I hadn't been able to observe their house before because we were only inside. It didn't seem familiar to me. He hung up the phone and walked towards me. "Where are you?" he asked. "S-in front of your house." I couldn't answer. "Come inside." He said and walked towards their gate. I didn't know what to say. I couldn't move from my place either. "Jay-jay..." He called to me. I was forced to walk while dragging my bike towards them. Their yard was so big. I felt like it had gotten bigger since the last time we went there. I saw Keifer's cars. Yes... His cars. Yuri told me that they were all his. He said that Keifer didn't want Keigan to hold the steering wheel. He said it was because there was a bump. I parked my bike on the corner. Just next to his cars. It always seemed like there was no one at their house. It was so big and all I saw was them. "Are you the only ones who live here?" I asked him. "What do you think?" He asked me sarcastically. "I mean, where are the maids? You still have a butler, right? And where are your parents?" He stopped and looked at me. "My parents don't live here. Maids and butlers are inside their rooms. I don't want a lot of people scattered around ." He walked back and entered the house. I followed. He was very serious when he answered my question. My parents don't live here. Is that possible? After all, I don't have my parents at home with me. We entered again through the new door. This is what their living room looked like. There were so many sofas, about four sets, I think. He sat down on one of the sofas, I looked at the coffee table. There were a pile of wine bottles and an ice bucket. He poured himself a glass and drank. "That's it." I commented but he ignored me. "How did you get to the front of my house?" He asked. "I was riding my bike... How did you know I was outside?" He drank ï¬rst before speaking. "I have my ways." What are you talking about?! I rolled my eyes. Their living room is really big. The design on the wall is just a painting and I can't see any pictures of them or their family. "What do your parents do for a living?" I asked while looking at one of the paintings. "None." He answered quickly. I looked at him. "Is that possible? Your house is so big. It's no wonder someone just gave it to them." He looked at me before pouring wine into a glass. "No one gave this house to them, because this is mine."Only mine." Huh?! This house is only his? He seemed to notice that I was confused by what he said. "This house is mine. They don't live here, because I didn't let them live here." He explained. "What's that? Where are they?" He straightened the wine in the glass before pouring it again. He briefly touched his earring-shaped ear before answering my question. "My Mom is dead. My Dad is busy with his new wife. I had them removed from here, because I didn't want to see their aces. Any questions?" I bowed. I didn't intend to bring up that topic. I expected them to be a complete family because he had Keigan and Keiren at home. "S-sorry." I said. He didn't answer. He just continued drinking. He must have had a few drinks but I didn't see any signs that he had had enough. "You..." He broke the silence. "...what's with your family?" "It's okay... I-I saw Papa yesterday, right?" He chuckled bitterly. "You know... You're unfair." I knew what he meant by that. Not unfair. I just really don't want to. they think more. Like, he has a family problem and then I'll tell him mine. He suddenly put down a glass of alcohol in front of me. "Let's play a game. I will ask you questions and if you don't want to answer, drink this. It will be the same with me." He said. Oh wait... I don't want to! "I-I don't want to drink now." "Then answer my question." He said seriously. "Keifer... Because----" "You can't go home." He suddenly said, stopping me. "...I have my ways, remember?" I looked at the glass of alcohol. Okay! As long as I can answer, I will answer. "Game!"
