Chapter-112

Feelings

Jay-jay's POV

The frappe I'm drinking should be delicious. But it's not the same as the one that's messing with my brain. My
eelings can't handle it! "Is it delicious?" Yuri asked me. I looked at her. "O-yes.." "What flavor?... What flavor
does the air taste like?" Huh?! I looked at what I was drinking. Mud! It's empty. I just scratched my head and
orced a smile. "Speak now... I know something is bothering you." Am I that obvious? Tsk! Yuri was obviously
waiting for me to say something. But I didn't plan to speak. I wasn't sure about what I saw on Eren's cellphone
yet. I was going to ask him about it but I didn't. I'm really sure, they're the same ones I saw the night of the
estival. Are they really them? "W-this is nothing... It's just something playing around in my brain." She seemed
a little disappointed by my answer. "You're so sullen." She said. I looked at her in surprise. "...You still don't
trust us. We were all here for you but you don't seem to see us." Oh, he's sulking. But in reality, he's right.
They're all there for me. "It's not that I don't trust you. It's not clear to me yet, so how can I tell you? I'm just
orming a conclusion. Once everything is clear, I'll tell you." I explained to him and smiled. Yuri just forced a
smile. I knew he was worried about me but I didn't want to just talk. How could I tell him that I suspected
Mayo and Kit were gay? Then I'd be wrong. Besides, maybe if I told him, he'd suddenly take action. Or he'd tell
Keifer. It would just make things worse. "Hey... Are you really sulking?" I asked while looking at his face. He
was just looking at the table while shaking his head at me. "Oh, he's sulking." I moved closer to him slightly. I
tried to peek at his face but he kept avoiding me. "Let me see how Yuri Hanamitchi sulks." I teased and
continued to peek at her face. Even though I kept avoiding her, I could clearly see her blushing. Yu---- is so cute
! I'm so cute! "Stop it..." Yuri said annoyed but I just teased her more. "Let me see..." She tried to smile. I
couldn't help but laugh at her look. "S-stop it Jay..." "Ayieh... Stubborn." "N-no... I-im not." "You're stuttering!
Hahaha you're so cute." I teased her even more, making her blush even more. She was about to move her seat
because of what I was doing but I immediately grabbed her cheek and turned her face to me. "W-what are y-
you doing?" She asked. I just smiled sweetly at her. Because honestly, I don't really know why I'm doing this.
But I'm glad to do this to her. "Ma'am, Sir." Someone said, I was a bit surprised, which made me let go of Yuri's
hold. We both looked at the speaker. Denzel? "W-what are you doing here?" I asked him. He pointed to his
uniform and smiled. He was dressed as a waiter. It looked like he was already working here. "It looks like you
don't need to order... Your sweet tooth is enough to fill you up." He teased us. Yuri made us both look away.
Denzel was just as strong as this tease. "What?! Are you still ordering?" He asked teasingly. "Y-yeah." Yuri
replied. But before we could order, the door of the café suddenly opened and Keifer came straight to us. "K-
keifer." I whispered. "Jay-jay..." He called out to me. "...You need to come with me." I looked at him in surprise.
"H-ha?" "Is there any problem Keifer?" Yuri asked before standing up. His gaze was still fixed on me. He was
so serious that it made me nervous. "It's about my promise on bringing you back to Hamilton University." I
automatically stood up. Are we going back there now? But I thought it would be next week, because we'll have
to find a time that Brother Angelo won't notice. "Really now?" I asked and looked at Yuri. "We have no more
time for this. Let's go!" Keifer said and suddenly grabbed my hand and pulled me out. But before we could
reach the door, another hand grabbed my other hand. Yuri... "Jay..." He called out to me while his eyes were
talking. "Jay! We need to go!" Keifer shouted. I looked at Keifer for a moment and then looked back at Yuri. His
eyes were talking to me while Keifer's were persistent. I need to go see Papa. But I want to stay for some
reason I don't understand. I looked at their hands holding me for a moment. Why did it feel like such a big
decision for me to make? I just bit my lower lip. I pulled my hand away from Keifer's grip and faced Yuri. "I just
need to go see Papa. I hope you understand." I said. Yuri held my other hand. "I know. But please, come back
here." I nodded quickly before taking my hands away from him. I quickly ran towards the door where Keifer
was. "Let's go." He said before we ran towards his car. Another car again?! Getting inside, Keifer quickly
started the car. I immediately fastened my seatbelt because I felt like I was participating in F1 racing. It was
so fast! That was crazy! Our trip had been over two hours, during the University visit. But with the speed at
which this King of Cobras ran, I felt like our trip would only be half an hour. His face was still serious as he
ocused on the road. I couldn't tell if he was angry or what. "K-keifer..." I called out to him. I waited for him to
answer but he kept his head down. "Keifer..." I called out again. "What?!" He asked me annoyed. "Nothing."
"Shh." I guess he was annoyed. I just turned my gaze back to the road and let him go. We were silent the entire
trip. When we arrived at Hamilton University, we both moved quickly. We ran to the receiving area of the
largest building. "Miss... W-where is Jasfher Mariano?" I asked the woman sitting at their receiving table. She
looked at me and Keifer in surprise. "W-he's gone... He left a while ago." I was saddened by what she said but I
didn't lose hope. "Maybe I can get some info about him. Where does he live or maybe a contact number." "Oh,
no." The woman quickly answered me. "Okay, Sister, it's really necessary. It's an emergency!" I insisted. "It's
really not possible." "Look Miss... We don't have time for this. We really need to talk to that guy." Keifer
whispered. He was obviously irritated because Sister didn't want to give out information. I understand him if
he couldn't because... Aaaiizzztt! "Is there a problem here?" I asked which man. I remembered him! He was
one of the ones who spoke during our University Visit here. "Because sir, they're nagging... They're asking for
information about Sir Mariano." The woman complained. He looked at both of us, Keifer. "What for?" "K-
because----" "We cannot tell you... but please tell him that Jay-jay is here." Keifer cut me off from what I was
going to say. The man looked at his watch. "Even if I tell him, it won't make any sense. He's probably already
on the plane." Plane? "We're already late..." Keifer whispered. I was confused. What's late? What plane?
"Keifer..." I called out to him. "Someone told me that your Dad is leaving for good." When he said that, my
knees suddenly went weak. I almost fell to my knees if I hadn't been holding onto the table. He would have left
me for good. Now is the time I've known him. Why is he doing this? "K-keifer... Maybe we can still go to the
airport? Maybe we can still catch up with him?" I said while holding back my tears. "Oh maybe not anymore..."
He answered softly. I couldn't hold back my tears anymore. They fell on their own accord. Instead of looking
at me, I quickly walked out of the building and went straight to the parking lot where Keifer's car was. I ended
up sitting on a plant box. It hurts, it hurts to think that you had a chance to be together but he chose to leave.
He had a chance to make it up to me, but he didn't. I thought that if I saw him, everything would be okay for
me. I was wrong. I felt someone sit next to me. I didn't waste any time looking at who it was. "Jay..." He called
to me and suddenly put his arm around me. He leaned against me
my head on his shoulder. "...I wish I had hurried, maybe
we could have caught up with him."
"N-no... He's really leaving. There's nothing we can do about it."
I replied.
"He has a reason Jay... As of now, we don't know what it is."
My feeling got even heavier and caused
me to cry loudly.
"It's okay... Cry as long as you want."
I cried even harder. I just buried myself in
Keifer's neck. I didn't know how to let out this pain.
If I had to use up my tears, that's fine. The
weight on my chest just got lifted.
We were in that position for a long time. I also stopped on my own and
asked to go home. Keifer didn't say anything or ask anything.
He must have sensed that I wasn't in the mood to talk. He drove me
to us. When the car stopped, he suddenly hugged me.
I was still surprised at first but I knew what
his hug was for.
"Were here for you..." He whispered to me.
"T-thank you."
He let go of the hug. I was about to open the
car door when he grabbed my arm.
When I turned to him, he quickly kissed my forehead.
I couldn't speak. Tameme! I wanted to ask what
it was for but he looked away.
I was forced to get down and quickly walked into the gate. I didn't
go inside the house right away. I just leaned against the gate and
listened for his car to leave.
I wasn't disappointed because Keifer quickly drove his car
away.
Y-my heart...
This is not good anymore! It's strange, it's like too much.
I've admitted to myself that I have strange feelings for him.
I don't plan on admitting what those feelings are.
It might just cause trouble if I try to find out. It's better
this way.
I walked closer to the door of the house.
I could have been inside in just one step but I stopped.
It was like I forgot something.
Shit! Yuri!
I quickly turned around to run outside but it suddenly occurred to
me that maybe he wasn't there. But he would text me if that happened.
I immediately grabbed my phone but I didn't receive a single text or call
rom Yuri.
I just bit my nails. I wasn't sure what to do.
I wanted to call or text Yuri...I didn't have any charge.
Haizt! Whatever!
I grabbed my bike and immediately got on it. It was a bit dark outside
but I just didn't have it. I quickly pedaled even though I wasn't
sure if he was still there.
When I turned the corner where the café was, I stopped.
The lights were already off and it was obvious that no one was inside.
He must have left.
I just sighed. I was about to leave to go back home
but I thought I saw something moving inside the café. Even though I wasn't
sure what I saw, I still went closer.
I tried to look through the glass window of the café to see inside.
It seemed... It seemed... It seemed like there was someone.
I parked my bike. I approached the glass door of the café. I was just about to take a peek
but I accidentally pushed the door open. That's when I
realized that the café was still open.
I pushed the door open even harder, just enough for me to get in. I suddenly
stopped when I saw the surroundings.
All Christmas lights hanging from the ceiling. They looked like fireflies and
they were beautiful. I couldn't help but smile at what I saw.
There were also scented candles all around.
Who is it.... Yuri?!
I immediately rolled my eyes to look for Yuri. Could it be that she
did this? But what for? Why is there something like this?
She was sitting in the corner. She was drinking alone and quietly. There were
about four empty bottles in front of her.
"Yuri..." I called out to her.
She immediately stopped sipping her wine and looked at me. She forced a
smile and put down the bottle she was holding.
"Is it nice?" She asked me while looking up.
"Of course..." I answered and smiled at her.
For some reason I couldn't understand, it was as if I had noticed on purpose that
she had a problem.
It was as if she had really been waiting for me. I suddenly felt embarrassed. I left
but it ended up being nothing. If I had known, I wish I hadn't
left him.
I heard him sigh so I looked at him.
"Is there a problem?" I asked.
He reached into his pocket and looked at the floor. "Jay-jay..." He started.
"...Are you serious about your feelings for Keifer?"
A-what...
"H-ha?"
He suddenly ruffled his hair with one hand. It was as if
he was annoyed that I didn't understand.
I was about to open my mouth to speak but Yuri suddenly took
one hand out of his pocket.
He was holding something that he lowered onto the table. A small red box.
My heart beat faster on its own.
"For you..." He said and walked out of the café.
I was left dumbfounded and staring at the box he gave me. I looked back at
him for a moment but he had already left.
I bit my lower lip. I
hoped I was wrong... I hoped this wasn't what I was thinking.
I slowly took the box and slowly opened it.
My eyes widened when I saw the contents.
I sat down on the chair near me.
W-what does this mean?
Why did he give me a ring?
