Chapter-114

Decision

Jay-jay's POV

I'm hesitant to go in. I feel like I'd rather stay at home and
lock myself in my room.
It's hard to think about whether I should follow Aries's advice. I don't want to
leave Section E, I consider
them more than friends and classmates.
But I want to talk to Papa. Once Aries gives me
his contact number, I can talk to him.
"Why are you still there? You might be late." Aunt Gema commented to me.
I was just standing at the gate. I was only a step outside
but I chose to stop.
"I was just wondering if I forgot something." I made an excuse.
"Is there anything?" she asked.
I shook my head in response.
"Go in... You might be late." Auntie urged me before smiling
and entering the house.
Hey! I'm annoyed!
I really had no choice. I was forced to go out of the gate and walk
to our corner. I was still dumbfounded at first but when I got to the corner
I got myself together.
I was wondering if I should walk or park a jeepney. I wasn't in the
mood to park a car, I was too lazy to walk.
So what?!
This is tripping me out! I had barely stood up when I heard
a car horn. It was from a car parked near me-----wow!
Rich!
Nissan GTR!
If only I were rich and knew how to drive, that's what
I would buy. Suddenly the door opened and the driver got out.
Oh, there was an impact!
What's going on here? His car is new again. Cars are just toys
to him, he just changes them.
"Why are you here?" I opened it to him.
"I'm picking you up." The King of Vipers quickly replied.
Why again?----stay away from them!
What Aries said came to my mind on its own. Should I stay
away from them? In exchange for my chance to talk to Papa.
Suddenly a finger snapped in front of me, causing me to wake up
rom my thoughts.
"You're spacing out!" Kiefer said.
I was about to speak but he suddenly grabbed my hand and
pulled me closer to the passenger seat of his car like a child.
"Get inside!" He ordered me to push him inside.
This guy is so bad! He didn't even give me a chance
to move or speak. He just pushed me with his head.
When he got inside, I looked at him with a wicked look.
"You can push!"
"Shh."
Oh my! He really can push!
The car started moving and neither of us moved. I was getting tired
of his expression. We might have another argument over what else I could say
to him.
I was just looking outside when I noticed something. We weren't
going to school!
"Hey! Where are we going?!"
He just looked at me for a moment and then looked back at the road.
Son of...
"Hey! What is it?!"
"Just wait and see." He replied bored. I
was so tired!
I was forced to keep quiet. He was like this to Kuya, he would know that
I didn't go in again.
In fact, he was already saving up his sermon for me. Just like the
past few days, Kuya was busy so he couldn't even give me a sermon
.
But I still didn't want to. Maybe one day he'll explode with anger again and
I'll be the one to blame.
Suddenly we enter a building. There's a tall gate chutsu, where
Keifer reaches out and is accepted by the person standing at the tall gate.
When we enter, it's very dark and there are a lot of cars.
It looks like a parking area. We had to walk around for a while before we found a decent spot
or his very nice car.
I wanted something like this too.
When he stopped, Keifer got out so I did too. He quickly walked
away so I quickly ran to catch up with him.
He pressed something for a moment and his car honked.
Wow!
"What are we doing?!" I said to him annoyed.
He didn't answer again. Maybe this guy's tongue was cut off.
He wasn't answering anymore.
We stopped in front of the elevator and waited for it to open. When it opened,
Keifer immediately entered but I didn't follow or move.
"What are you waiting for?!"
"Answering my question 'Where are we really going?'." I answered
him.
"I don't know! You're welcome to leave me there!" He shouted at me and suddenly pressed the
button to close the elevator door.
I hurried inside. I didn't want to be left here, it was dark so
maybe what they say about a snake person in the basement of
buildings was true.
"Here it is! I told you I'd get on!" I said as I entered.
"Shhh."
He pressed the button with the letter G. I really had no clue what
this idiot was thinking.
When the elevator opened, the Christmas theme and loud
music came to my mind. Keifer got out so I followed him again.
Wait!
Are we at the Mall?! I rolled my eyes.
We really are at the mall.
What are we doing here? What is Keifer up to?
"Jay-jay!" Someone called me.
Keifer and I both turned around. Eman, Edrix and Rory were the ones who came
to me.
"You've been here for a while... We've been here a while." Edrix complained.
"Blame this girl." Keifer pointed at me.
Hm?!
Are you trying to teach me! Really animal.
"Let's go... We have a lot to buy." Eman said.
They all walked away. I still had no clue what we were really doing
here at the Mall, and what we needed to buy?
"Eman!" I called and slightly ran towards her. "...What are we doing
here?"
She looked at me curiously. "Didn't Keifer tell you anything?"
There was, a lot! That's why I was asking!
I just shook my head in response.
"We're going to buy something to use for our Christmas party." She replied.
"Huh?"
All I know is that Section E is not included in the school's Christmas Party.
So why are we buying something to use?
"We're having our own celebration... Outside of school."
Rory interjected.
"Where?"
"We haven't chosen a place yet... Keifer used to have it but
Blaster and Keigan had an issue. So they had to change venues."
Edrix explained.
It's okay for these guys! As long as they want it and no one can stop them. After all,
they can't have a Christmas party so they have to have their own party.
Since I'm here, I'm already helping. I just don't understand
why I brought these guys with me.
We went to a Decorating Store. They had complete supplies, even
costumes. Since Christmas was coming, they only had Christmas
decorations on display.
"Get a basket..." Eman ordered me.
I did, and so did Edrix and Rory.
Eman was the only one who bought things to use. Sometimes Edrix and Rory would teach,
but most of the time they just messed around.
Suddenly, someone handed me a small Christmas tree.
"This is beautiful..." The person who handed it over said----Ci-N!
She was in a messy bun and looked like a very annoyed child. I turned to Edrix,
who was talking to Eren and....Kit.
"That's how we are! Walking without going together!" Ci -
N said annoyed
. The child looked sullen.
"Keifer just picked me up. If I knew there was something going on,
I would tell you, right!" I explained.
"Why would you tell me?! Aber!" He said like an old man while
waving. "...You always have no load!"
Oh... Yes! He has a point there, even if I want to say it, I can't
say it. I can't load anymore. I'm saving, because
my money is still in the loan.
"Sorry!"
"Oh! You're like that! You only think about yourself!" He said
while walking out.
This idiot! He even pulled out the lighter.
"Okay... I was going to give you some free time! That's why you're sulking!"
After I said that, he suddenly walked back to where he
was earlier.
"Apology accepted." He said while smiling.
I just winced. It's really different! We approached Edrix who was
still talking to Eren and Kit.
I couldn't help but look at Kit. Then
the picture of him and Mayo going-----aarrrgghhh!
My goodness!
Don't think about it! Don't think about it! Don't think about it!
I was about to walk away when Eren grabbed the basket I was carrying.
"I'll go..." He said and took the basket from me.
I just let him go. Kit followed him, who just forced a smile at me.
That's when I noticed that his eyes were sad.
Did something bad happen?
I was left standing in my place. Almost everyone was looking for
something to buy. Even Ci-N, joined Eman.
I just watched them. I wanted to watch them, even for a moment.
It would help me think. What should I really
do? In the short time we were together, our friendship
had become deep . I shared their problems. When they cried and laughed. We supported each other. Even
though our first few weeks together weren't good, they quickly made up for it. I thought before, I would have a
hard time in this Section because I was the only girl, but it wasn't like that. They accepted me as if I was really
one of them. It felt like I couldn't trade them for anything. "Jay..." Someone called me. I turned to my side and
Keifer was looking at me with a mixture of surprise. He touched my cheek and that's when I realized I had
tears in my eyes. "W-it's nothing... I just woke up." I apologized and wiped my tears. "That's an old excuse." He
said. "...Is it about your dad?" I shook my head. "No... Just something else." "Okay... If you don't want to talk
about it. Fine. I won't force you." I thought he was going to leave but he stayed standing next to me and
watched our companions continue to flirt. Honestly, I was still confused. So even though it was against my
will.... "Keifer..." I called him. "...what if you had a chance to get what you've wanted for a long time, but the
price for that is what you have now. Would you still grab the chance?" "It depends..." He answered quickly. "...if
that thing that I want is worth it,why not?" Worth it? "...but..." He continued. "...if the things that I have are much
more worth it, I would not." Much more worth it! I fell silent and looked at Ci-N. Who is worth it more than
them? I consider my friends more than friends and classmates. 'Or my Dad who I've been wanting to be with
or a long time. Worth it?
