New Year, New human


Jay-jay's POV


How am I going to speak? How am I going to answer his question? My mouth hasn't even
opened to speak yet, his lips are already glued to
mine.
I tried to resist but he grabbed both of my hands and
pinned me to the elevator wall. I avoided my face but
he just followed.
I don't know if we've been like this for so long. He stopped to
catch his breath and I took that opportunity.
"KEIFER! LET ME GO!" I shouted at him angrily.
"Then answer my question." His answer was annoying to me.
He was so close, I could smell the alcohol on his breath. I didn't
know if he was drunk or what.
"How am I going to answer if----"
I couldn't finish what I was going to say. His lips were glued to
mine again.

He pulled away again and looked at me with a hint of teasing.
"Next time, don't put lip gloss. It's tempting me to kiss you." He said and
smirked.
Okay, he's drunk. He really is drunk!
"FUCK KEIFER!" I shouted and his smile widened even more.

What a mess!
He was about to kiss me again when the
elevator bell suddenly rang. He let go of me but he was still facing me and
we were squeezed into the corner.
The elevator door opened and people kept coming in.
With so many of them, we looked like sardines inside. I saw Yuri so
I immediately hid.
This King of the Snakes was trying to squeeze me so I glared at him
. He was already holding onto the wall of the elevator due to his loss of balance
because of the people.
"I'm excited about the fireworks." I heard one of the people in the
elevator say.
Fireworks?!
Shit! What time is it?! We've already reached the new year here in the elevator.
This is a party because this impact is already happening!
"You owe me a kiss." Keifer whispered, making me shiver.
The ending was that I still owed him a kiss. What a shame! What
he did to me.
The elevator door opened. Suddenly Keifer walked out
with the people.
I was left dumbfounded in the corner of the elevator. I just leaned back in
my weakness.
It's so stupid!
"Jay-jay?" Someone called.
I straightened up. I also adjusted my clothes.
"You were just there... We were looking for you a while ago."
Yuri told me.
I walked closer to him. That's when I noticed that he was on the rooftop.
We were right next to Yuri's house, which was also on the rooftop.
Our place was just lower than where
their house was.
"I-I saw people coming here so
I followed." I said.
"Ahh.. that's good. Because your brother is here too." He said while
pointing to where his brother was.
I just nodded and forced a smile.
"Let's go?" He asked while offering his arm to me.
It took me a while before I thought of holding it. I was still hesitant but
I did it anyway.
He supported me as we walked. When we got closer to Grandma, I
immediately noticed what they were talking about.
Yuri's parents!
"They're here..." Tita said.
I let go of Yuri and approached them. Tita fixed
my hair for a moment, probably because it was messed up because of that animal.
"Jay..." Yuri called out to me. "...I want you to meet your future in laws."
He said while holding his Mama.
Thanks to Yuri's fb post last Christmas and I met them.
"Otosan is right. She's pretty." Her dad said.
I wanted to thrill and make fun of them in front of them but I wasn't in the mood.
I just forced a smile.
"T-thank you." I said.
I looked at Yuri's mom who was staring at me. It was like
she was reading my expression carefully. I couldn't help but smile.
"Hahaoya?" Yuri said to her mom who I didn't know what she meant.
"You look familiar to me." Her mom said to me. "...Weren't you the one
Keifer kissed in the elevator earlier?"
My body stiffened. I tried not to react even though they were all
looking at me and waiting for me to say something.
"How come?" Yuri asked.
"I try to catch the elevator before the door close, but I saw Keifer inside
making out with a girl." Her mom explained.
"How did you say it was Keifer?" Yuri's dad asked.
"What kind of question is that? It's Keifer... He's almost grown up with us
so I know him by sight."
I looked at Brother Angelo who was currently drinking alcohol.
He looked at me with a wicked look as if to say 'Let's talk
later!'.
"Oh wait! Forget what I said. I just misunderstood you. I thought
you were the only one wearing a white dress here." His mother said while pointing to
Keifer who was also looking at another woman wearing a white dress.
She was still holding a glass of wine. The woman was laughing and
smiling.

This guy is really flirting. After I *bleep* earlier in the
elevator, here he is again. Putnam!
I'm really going to burn my dresses in the closet. Kingina!
This King of the Snakes is so annoying.
"Wait a minute?" Yuri's mother said and suddenly walked closer
to Keifer.
I wondered what he was going to do, I was a little surprised when he pulled
the King of the Snakes by the ear. I could see the annoyance and pain on
Keifer's face but he couldn't do anything.
They stopped in front of us and tried to pull Keifer away from Yuri.
"Aw..." Keifer whispered while rubbing his ear.

Yuri's dad said.

His mom replied with a smile.
"Are you Keifer?" Grandma suddenly asked and looked at me.
"...He's a handsome kid too." She whispered to me.
I glared at Grandma. She only just thought of telling
me that now. I felt like she really believed what Ci-N said that Keifer
was my boyfriend.
"Yeah... And I guess, you're Jay-jay's mom." Keifer replied to
Grandma.

"Really? But you look too young to be a grandmother."
Keifer was flattering. Mud! The head was really flirty. Even my grandma was flattered. Grandma
immediately blushed and held her cheek. "I'm embarrassed by what you said." Grandma said. Oh... Feeling
teenager. "It's early, Keifer?" Yuri's dad greeted her with the wine in his hand. "I'm just enjoying the night." He
replied while drinking. "Where are Keigan and Keiren?" Yuri whispered. "They're at home... They don't want this
kind of party. They'd rather sleep." I feel them... It's really nice to sleep. Especially in my situation now. Then
there's no need to wake up. "Aries is here?" Yuri's mom commented when she saw Aries and Ella approaching

discipline you." That suddenly became awkward. Keifer looked away and Yuri suddenly bowed. Ella and Aries

it was still the same. "I'm just getting some water." I said goodbye to Tita. They nodded and let me walk away. I
approached one of the waiters to ask for water. While waiting for the waiter, I couldn't help but look at them. I
couldn't understand Keifer, why he was doing that to me. It was obvious that it was still Ella. Am I hurt?! I
shouldn't be feeling this. Why is this? The waiter came back and gave me water. After drinking, I was even
more thirsty than the thirsty elephant. Feeling extremely dry throat. "Easy..." Someone commented. I glared at
the waiter thinking he was the one who spoke. He looked at me curiously but he immediately looked behind
me causing me to look too. Should I kick him? He was still smiling at me before handing the glass he was
holding to the waiter. I also gave him what I was holding and was about to walk away but Keifer grabbed my

said and smiled. "6!!" "W-what..." "5!!" "Stop thinking that I'm still in love with someone else. Start thinking that I
really like you---no! That I love you to be exact." Jusme! Y-my heart! "4!!" "K-keifer..." I looked at the people. They
were all looking at the sky and waiting for the foreworks. Even Kuya and Yuri, that's why no one noticed us.
