BAD AT BARGAINING

~{INGRID'S POV}~

"I don't think you will betray me, Ingrid. I know you won't."

It was the way he had full confidence in me that worried me greatly.

When I could no longer hold his gaze, I looked away and it was at that moment he asked another question.

"So when will you be heading back?"

I slowly looked at him in confusion.

"What do you mean when will I be heading back?" I asked back.

"Don't tell me you don't understand that simple question Ingrid," he said and blinked in surprise.

"I'm not leaving alone, if that's what you mean." I said and looked away again.

"Don't worry, we'll send you off with lots of food and water," he said and it made me feel like he was taunting me.

I faced him again and withdrew my hand to myself.

"You're coming with me," I boldly declared.

"Is that an order?" He calmly asked while arching his perfectly carved eyebrow and I nodded.
