Adam sat on the edge of his bed, staring at the disassembled Hover Bike in front of him. The hotel room wasn't much—mostly solid concrete with cracked walls and a flickering light overhead—but it was enough for what he needed. The tools were scattered around him: screwdrivers, pliers, and bolts in all sizes and special advanced tech and parts he needed. He was hunched over, focusing on the intricate work at hand. His right eye was squinted for better focus, while his left eye glowed faintly with blue circuits. The nano-chip embedded in his brain was activated, allowing him to see the bike's wiring in a way no human could. It made the repair process almost effortless.
"Huff… finally done!" Adam wiped his brow, finishing the last few adjustments. He stood up, taking a step back to admire his work. The Hover Bike sat on one side of the room, now functional once more. Adam gave the room one last sweep, making sure everything was in place, before he set the tools aside and flopped down on the bed. It had been a long day, and his body ached for rest.
As he lay back, his mind wandered. Adam never really had dreams. His mom had always told him that his brain was different from humans—that aliens didn't dream, and neither did he. Every night, his mind sank into a vast black void—soundless, colorless, a deep pit of nothing. It was the only place he knew.
Tonight, however, something was different. A knock echoed in the void.
The sound was faint at first, but it grew louder and louder, relentless in its rhythm. Adam groggily opened his eyes, the knock growing unbearable as if it were coming from right next to him.
Suddenly, the world around him shattered, and he was jolted awake with a violent crash.
The hotel room door was blasted off its hinges. A tall, unrealistically buff grey alien with a square head and fully yellow eyes stomped in. It was massive, its hulking frame filling the doorway. Adam barely had time to register the attack before the alien leaped forward with unnatural speed and slammed its fists together, landing a brutal punch directly in Adam's chest.
"Gahh...!!!". Adam spat out some saliva
The force of the blow sent him crashing through the floor—plummeting through several levels of the building, each floor crumbling beneath him as debris scattered in all directions. The shockwaves from the impact sent the denizens of the hotel screaming and scrambling for cover.
"What the he-?!".
"Ahhh!!,Pervert!!".
Adam tried to say sorry to all of them but he didn't have the time.
"You are ruining my rep-". Adam tried to say but was stopped by the debris falling on his face.
Finally they landed.
The alien wasn't finished. It stood over Adam, its fists, each three times the size of his head, slamming into him repeatedly. Each strike felt like a wrecking ball, and Adam could barely defend himself against the relentless barrage.
"WARGH...!!WARGH...!!WARGH....!!". It screamed as it pummelled him.
The alien seemed more animal than sentient being—no cognitive thought, just pure, unbridled aggression. It bared its fangs as it snarled and barked, its fists smashing down again and again.
"Damn it, just stop!" Adam grunted, trying to shield himself, but the blows kept coming.
Finally, with a burst of strength, Adam caught the alien's fists mid-swing. He quickly shoved the creature back, creating distance between them. With a swift motion, Adam planted both of his legs on the alien's chest and pushed with all his might, sending the beast flying backward.
The alien roared in frustration, its yellow eyes glowing brighter with fury. It dropped to all fours, growling, and charged back at Adam with renewed ferocity.
"Come at me you beast!". Adam ran upto it,leaping in to the air and putting his foot up in the air.
As it came into reach Adam dropped the kick on It's neck cratering it into the ground.
Adam landed and looked at it.
Soon it pushed It's head out causing the already big crater to grow larger.
It reached for Adams head and Adam called his Energy Saber to his hand and turned it on,covering the blade in blue energy.
But before the alien could reach him and Adams sword could slice him, a sharp whistle echoed through the building.
The alien froze. Adam turned his head to see a man standing in the doorway, calm and composed amidst the chaos. The man was around 170 cm tall with a slender frame. His skin was dark blue, and his dull red eyes gave off an eerie, emotionless vibe. His bodyguards—towering insect-like figures—stood behind him, their muscular frames intimidating. They each held a teal-colored canine alien that came up to their chest, snarling at Adam.
The man, with greying hair and a gaunt, lithe face, stepped forward. His presence seemed to command the room as he surveyed the damage with the faintest hint of indifference. There was no amusement in his gaze, no anger—just a quiet, unnerving calm.
"Enough," the man's voice rasped, like he'd spent years inhaling toxic fumes. The alien stopped in its tracks and looked up at its master.
The man turned to Adam, his red eyes narrowing as he spoke. "I'm the owner of a group of bandit slavers, the ones you killed a while back."
Adam, still catching his breath, glared at him. "So, you're the one behind those bastards?"
The man gave a slight shrug, his lips barely moving as he spoke. "Yes. But I don't mind it much. They were starting to cost me more than they were worth."
Adam's gaze flickered to the destroyed room. "You're lucky I don't finish what I started."
The man raised an eyebrow, unbothered. "I'd prefer not to make an enemy of someone like you." He nodded to his bodyguard, who immediately called the alien back. The creature growled but obeyed, retreating to stand at attention. The man handed the alien a handful of pills, which it took without hesitation. "I don't like being in anyone's debt, and you've clearly shown you can handle yourself."
Adam narrowed his eyes. "What do you want from me?"
The man's lips twitched into the faintest of smiles. "Nothing… for now. I simply wish to know more about you. You're a unique specimen, after all." His gaze flickered to the wreckage. "And if you don't want anything to do with me, I won't force you. Just… stay out of my business. That's all I ask."
Adam's eyes sharpened, though he said nothing. The man took a step back, his bodyguards following suit, the canine aliens at their side. The man paused by the door, giving one last look at Adam.
"We'll meet again, I'm sure. Until then, try not to get yourself killed." With that, he exited the room, his voice trailing off with an unsettling calm.
The door slammed shut behind him, and the silence of the room settled over Adam once more. He sat up slowly, still stunned from the encounter. His chest ached, and his mind raced with questions. Who was that man? And why had he spared him?
"Just another day in this hellhole…" Adam muttered, rubbing his sore chest. He exhaled deeply and stood, brushing debris off his clothes. Whatever the man's motives were, Adam knew one thing: he wasn't about to let anyone—alien or human—push him around. Not without a fight.
