It’s always about the Billionaire

He was nowhere on campus.

I had carelessly gone to his home. After knocking on his door and waiting for hours, a neighbor took pity on me and told me he hadn't been home all weekend.

It was like he had disappeared.

My trembling fingers fumbled through my contacts, and I searched with a thin hope, praying that I'd saved his cousin's number.

olivia.

Found it.

I called the number immediately.

Every second made me more anxious. And when the ringing stopped and she hadn't picked up, my heart dropped.

Still, I called again. I was almost out of hope when I heard her voice.

"Hello."

"Olivia?"

There was silence from her end. Only a few seconds, but it felt like an eternity.

"Yes?"

I didn't know I was holding my breath until I let out a sigh.

"It's Alora."
