Chapter 25: Aftermath of Fate/Zero, Father and Son on Planet Vampa

Broly, of course, couldn't take anyone back to Planet Vampa, but Fujimura Taiga could take the girl back to the Fujimura household. Rin Tohsaka also followed.

However, their mother, Aoi Zenjou, didn't go with them. She loved her husband more and, with Tokiomi severely injured by Broly, she and Kirei Kotomine, who had a broken arm, took him to the Fuyuki Church for treatment.

On the way, they encountered Kiritsugu Emiya and Saber. The Magus Killer had been lying in wait and only emerged after Broly and Gilgamesh's battle had concluded, pointing his gun at the trio.

Under Kiritsugu's threat, Kirei used his Command Spells to order his Servant to end its life, effectively removing both master and apprentice from the Holy Grail War.

Kiritsugu Emiya didn't fire his gun. Perhaps because Broly had taken the two Tohsaka girls with him, he chose to spare the trio.

Back at the Fujimura residence, Broly ate while explaining to Sakura and Rin that he would soon be sent back home.

"Huh? Broly, can't you take me with you?"

Broly shook his head, and Sakura's expression turned into that of a abandoned puppy.

"If you have nowhere to go, I can take you in."

Fujimura Taiga chimed in, and Sakura's eyes lit up again.

"I'm about to go back. Before I leave, I want to tell you something."

After finishing his meal, Broly had only three minutes left.

"What is it?"

Sakura and Rin looked at him.

"I want to invite you to join my Crystal Palace. Would you like to?"

Broly asked directly, and the Crystal Palace's prompt appeared before the two girls.

"I agree."

Sakura didn't hesitate. She didn't know what the Crystal Palace was, but she was willing to agree to anything Broly asked. Broly's happiness points immediately jumped to 30,000.

Having been saved by Broly in her moment of despair, Sakura's happiness at that moment was worth over 150 happiness points.

Combined with her original 20+ points, her total happiness value reached over 180, which translated to over 18,000 happiness points.

Broly had hit the jackpot.

"What is the Crystal Palace?"

Rin, on the other hand, asked. At her age, she couldn't understand what the Crystal Palace meant either.

"It means truly becoming my wife."

Broly answered according to the explanation provided by the Crystal Palace.

"Ah, this..."

Rin was flustered.

Was the topic of wives something children their age should be discussing?

"You don't want to?"

Broly was even more nervous than her. After his violent persuasion of that old man, Rin's happiness value had risen back to over 70 points. If she refused to join the Crystal Palace, his loss would be huge.

"It's not that, but can we talk about this when we're older?"

Rin's face turned red as she asked.

She also had a lot of goodwill toward the boy who had descended from the sky and solved her and her sister's problems.

Even though Broly had beaten her father in front of her.

"No, I need you to agree now."

Broly was in a hurry.

"Uh, well, okay then."

Rin reluctantly agreed, and Broly's happiness points increased by another 7,000.

"By the way, what's this..."

Just as Rin was about to ask about the Q-version avatar in front of her, Broly's return time was up. Just as he had appeared in a blink, he disappeared in the same way.

Only the happiness status displayed on the boy's Q-version avatar and the slowly increasing happiness points in the top-right corner proved that he had truly been in this world.

"Let me explain. The panel in front of you is a subsidiary module of the Crystal Palace. Only official members of the Crystal Palace can access it. The 4/5 indicates the current number of official members."

"But there are only three of us here."

"There's also the daughter of the Emiya family next door, but I haven't met her."

"Wait, can there be so many wives?"

"That topic is too early for kids. Let's talk about the exchange shop on the side. It records the things Broly has eaten and used.

You can exchange them using the happiness points Broly generates, but I don't recommend exchanging the food from his hometown. It's really bad..."

Fujimura Taiga explained the functions of the Crystal Palace's subsidiary module to the two girls. However, the module was still quite simple, so it didn't take long to explain everything.

Still, she continued to tell them about Broly's simple yet harsh life on Planet Vampa, filled with hunting and training.

She also discussed what they wanted to do in the future—whether they would both stay at the Fujimura residence or if only Sakura would remain.

---

Gilgamesh's early exit caused significant changes in the Fourth Holy Grail War. In the following days, the war intensified.

Kiritsugu Emiya, with Saber, confronted Sola-Ui, who was infatuated with Lancer. Diarmuid Ua Duibhne got a fair knightly duel but was outmatched by Artoria and returned to the Throne of Heroes, leaving Sola-Ui in tears.

The strategic retreat of Iskandar led to a confrontation with Artoria two days later. Iskandar proposed a decisive battle.

During this time, Kiritsugu attempted to assassinate Waver Velvet but was discovered by Iskandar.

"If you want to decide the outcome by killing the Master, I don't mind. After all, I have an army. How about it? Shall we continue this war, bypassing the Servants and targeting the Masters?"

Under this threat, Kiritsugu abandoned his plan to attack the Master and left the outcome to Artoria.

However, even with all four Command Spells used, Artoria's Excalibur couldn't break through Iskandar's army.

Artoria fell to the blades, and it seemed the winner of the Holy Grail War was decided: Waver Velvet, the underachieving student of Kayneth El-Melloi Archibald.

But then something unexpected happened. While Artoria was dragged into Iskandar's Reality Marble, Kirei Kotomine, who had lost his Master status, sneaked into the Emiya residence and kidnapped Irisviel, the lesser Grail.

His goal was to lure Kiritsugu into a confrontation. As if bound by fate, the two clashed at Fuyuki City's Civic Hall, but before they could finish, black mud began to rain from the sky.

Later, in the Holy Grail's questioning, Kiritsugu learned that the miracle he sought didn't exist—or rather, it did, but only in a form he could understand: the eradication of humanity to achieve eternal peace.

After painfully killing the illusions of his wife and daughter within the Grail, Kiritsugu escaped the corruption of the black mud, only to learn that his Servant had been defeated. He wanted to destroy the Grail tainted by the evils of the world, but he no longer had the strength to do so.

However, Iskandar was a magnanimous king, and his Master, Waver, still had the idealism and justice of youth.

Faced with the corrupted Grail, which could still grant access to the Root, the pair made a decision that most normal magi would find unthinkable: they chose to destroy the Grail.

The Grail was destroyed, but a portion of the evils of the world leaked through the connection between the Grail and reality. Fuyuki City was struck by an unexpected earthquake, resulting in many deaths.

A few days later, Kiritsugu adopted a boy who had lost all his memories and identity, naming him Shirou Emiya.

Not long after the Holy Grail War ended, Waver returned to the Clock Tower with a burly man cursed by the evils of the world, bringing him in as a retainer.

To research a way to remove the curse, Waver buried himself in the library, searching for information until Kayneth's people came looking for him.

Due to a mysterious ritual, a magical genius had fallen, but his student rose in his place. As the winner of the Holy Grail War, Waver appeared before the public and inherited the title of Lord El-Melloi at the Clock Tower.

Kayneth made a deal with his former student, trading the title of Lord El-Melloi—which granted access to advanced magecraft—for the protection of Iskandar, who had been cursed by the evils of the world.

As for Kariya Matou?

Unfortunately, during the Holy Grail War, when he ordered his Servant to kill Zouken Matou, Zouken detonated the Crest Worms inside Kariya's body, taking his life.

As for Tokiomi Tohsaka, after recovering from his injuries, he fulfilled his duties as a father, teaching his eldest daughter magecraft and finding a new magical path for his younger daughter. However, only Rin forgave him, while Sakura continued to live at the Fujimura residence.

Helpless, the elegant man had Fujimura Taiga deliver an expensive virtual attribute magical inheritance to his younger daughter.

Through this, Fujimura Taiga came into contact with magecraft. Though she lacked exceptional magical talent, she learned a few spells from Tokiomi, becoming a mediocre magus—one without a family lineage.

A month after the war, Kiritsugu went to Germany to visit his biological daughter but was turned away by the Einzbern family. The reason was that he hadn't brought back the Holy Grail. No matter how he explained, they wouldn't listen, and attacking the homunculus family wasn't feasible.

Later, Kiritsugu searched for traces of Broly, his son-in-law, but learned from his neighbors that the boy had returned to his own world. Reluctantly, Kiritsugu accepted the separation from his daughter.

Kirei Kotomine was severely injured but didn't die. However, he was left disabled. His father, Risei Kotomine, was getting old and passed the position of Fuyuki Church's priest to his son.

With the help of the Tohsaka family's connections, Risei brought his granddaughter from the convent to serve as Kirei's caretaker and a novice nun.

Fuyuki City returned to peace—or so it seemed. The battle between Gilgamesh and Broly had revealed the existence of the Holy Grail and the power of Servants to the world.

Though the Grail was destroyed, human desire remained. And as long as desire existed, the wish-granting device would remain an object of longing.

Countless spies flooded into Fuyuki City, from both the mundane world and the magical community. With Zouken gone, the new head of the Matou family, Kariya's brother, sold off the family's magecraft and knowledge of the Holy Grail's Command Spell system.

The Matou family's financial situation improved, and Shinji Matou became a rich kid, moving with his father to a small European country.

---

Returning to Planet Vampa was a quick process. In the blink of an eye, Broly was back.

Looking at the familiar cave he called home, Broly felt as if an era had passed.

The spider eggs he had left behind were gone, likely eaten by his father.

Thinking of his father, whom he hadn't seen in days, Broly—who had just beaten up another world's father—felt a strange sense of longing.

Leaving the cave, Broly flew to an open field and began to raise his ki, causing a storm to brew around him.

The storm hadn't been raging for long when Paragus, wearing a scouter, flew in from the distance. Seeing Broly in the storm, he sped up.

"Broly, where have you been these past few days?"

Paragus asked excitedly upon arriving.

On Planet Vampa, the two of them were the apex predators. But being the strongest didn't mean they couldn't get injured—or even killed—while hunting.

Just as a human could kill many beasts with their bare hands but couldn't guarantee they wouldn't get injured while hunting, the same applied to them.

Broly's sudden disappearance had left Paragus anxious. He feared something had happened to his son and had been searching the planet for him.

"I went to another world."

Seeing Paragus's excitement and sensing his concern, Broly felt a strange warmth in his heart and answered honestly.

"You don't have to tell me if you don't want to. Just let me know next time you're going somewhere."

Paragus was a bit speechless but didn't press the matter. As long as his missing son was back and safe, he didn't want to pry too much.

"I'm not lying."

Broly frowned, defending himself.

"Whatever you say."

Paragus didn't want to argue with his son.

"I'm really not lying."

Broly insisted.

"I believe you."

Broly got angry and punched Paragus.

"I knew it would come to this."

Paragus blocked his son's punch, sighed, and retaliated with a punch to Broly's face.

The Saiyan father and son on Planet Vampa had barely exchanged ten words before they started brawling.

Their fight created sonic booms, and the ground was torn up with dozens of trenches. It ended with Paragus being stomped into the ground by Broly.

"I told you, I wasn't lying."

"And I told you, I believe you."

"Hmm."

Only after stomping his father into the ground did Broly believe him.

The tattered clothes Broly had worn after being struck by lightning in the Type-Moon world were finally destroyed in the fight.

"Father, this is pork cutlet rice I earned in another world. Try it."

Broly exchanged a bowl of pork cutlet rice from the Crystal Palace and handed it to Paragus, who had just gotten up from the ground.

"Huh?!"

The aroma of the pork cutlet rice made Paragus's eyes widen.

He hadn't seen where Broly had pulled the delicious-smelling food from.

"Son, were you telling the truth earlier?"

Broly: "?!"

As expected, after finishing the meal, Paragus was beaten up by his son again.
