Chapter 26 : Konoha in Chaos 2

She relaxed her suspicions but she was still not convinced and wanted answers.

The hokage could see that so he came up with new idea of shifting the suspicions from him to others.

He said " Although I don't know who it is but they definitely have a spy in our midst and I don't know who suspect anymore since the Senju clan had many enemies all over the elemental nations in the warring states but that was already over decades ago and no clan is the enemy of another " trying to throw the blame away from himself.

Mito Uzumaki was puzzled and was thinking hard but she couldn't come up with answers and said " Okay that maybe it but how can they know the missions of every and other senju members like they are controlling their missions, You are the hokage so you should know this, how did you disclose the information of our village, I am really disappointed in you Hiruzen "

The Hokage was dripping wet with sweats and he couldn't explain this and thought for a moment thinking if he should blame Danzo but he decided against it since he don't know if danzo would frame him in reverse.

Danzo still wants to be the hokage so he can't blame danzo and if he blames danzo who would do his dirty work. Danzo is good at staying in the dark, so he should continue to do so.

He straightened his back and said " This was my negligence " he sounded sincerely

He continued " it was my fault for not making the ninjas missions private prior to this so I should I take responsibility and apologise to all those that were harmed and I shall make the missions of ninjas as private as the anbus from today henceforth " he was looking sorry and sincerely apologising to Mito Uzumaki.

She eased her expression and was satisfied with his answers as she said " please do that and please protect the ninjas privacy and their missions should not be disclosed without the consent of the ninjas that

doing the mission " while preparing to

leave the Hokage's office.

Meanwhile Danzo said " Who else would be the biggest enemies of the senju clan in the warring states apart from the uchihas" while hoping to get the uchiha clan in check.

The hokage was sweating bullets of sweat to the point it that his shirt was wet and cursed danzo inwardly said ' I satisfied her answers why would you make trouble here.

He said " Danzo it is not good to make suspicions in the village besides the uchiha clan already forget the warring states why would they trouble the senju clan " while glaring daggers at Danzo.

The other elders also looked at Danzo thinking he was crazy and sweat dropped.

Mito Uzumaki said " Danzo, hiruzen is right besides my husband made the uchiha clan and senju clan peacefully after they united in creating konoha so don't be overly suspicious of your own villagers" while calmly staring at him then walked out of the hokages room.

There was little silence for a while then they all sighed in relieved manner.

Then they looked at danzo as if blaming him and the hokage said " danzo can you please shut up and let me do the talking. I wanted to indirectly suggest it was uchiha clan and suppress them but you just have to made

them the innocent victims in your mouth " while getting angry.

Danzo frowned and thought ' surely this guy is shrewd ' while frowning and thought that a chance get past him without being aware of himself.

Then he walked out of the room. While the others were preparing to depart, an anbu came to office and looked at the hokage.

The hokage signalled him to report, the anbu then said " Lord hokage there is message from the uzushio saying they will visit next week" he finished his report the got out.

One elders said " They probably heard this news and wanted to confirm it themselves, but the Uzumaki clan nowadays stopped going out and they are becoming mysterious so we should send some spies in Uzushio " while looking serious.

The hokage said " there is problem after problem but the Uzumaki clan stopped doing missions with us a year ago and they two jutsus from us two years ago saying that they would be trying to decipher Flyin thunder god" he was looking worried.
