The Death Queen was well aware that even in this world, she had numerous enemies. However, she saw potential in the slaves she had purchased, believing that with proper training, they could become exceptional martial artists.
Helen and Lusav became training partners, their bond growing stronger with each passing day. Lusav's strength and agility improved significantly over time, a testament to their diligent practice.
Helen's next move was to divide the building she had acquired into smaller shops on the second and third floors, reserving the first floor for luxury stores and designating the fourth floor as a café.
Approaching the owners of the small shops in the vicinity, Helen presented them with detailed contracts outlining profit sharing and rental agreements. Her vision was to create a one-stop destination where customers could find everything from jewelry and clothing to groceries, all under one roof.
The concept was advertised as a "mall" where customers could fulfill all their shopping needs. However, despite the signed contracts, there were still renovations to be completed. Lusav took charge of overseeing the construction process.
Meanwhile, Helen focused on honing her elemental powers, dedicating herself to their improvement. As three months passed, both Helen, Lusav, and the others grew stronger, their training paying off.
With everything in place, the shop was ready to open. The name chosen for it was "Spade." The entrance of the mall boasted a luxurious ambiance, featuring intricate sculptures of mermaids. At the reception area, elegantly dressed women greeted visitors, donning modern suits that challenged the male-dominated society.
The lower floor of the mall housed opulent entrances and a charming toy train that glided along magical stones. It primarily consisted of grocery stores and two exquisite dress shops.
Moving up to the second floor, customers would find a stunning jewelry store, one side of which was adorned with an array of mirrors, creating a captivating sight.
On the third floor, various dress shops and magic item stores catered to the shoppers' desires. Additionally, a cozy area was designated for people to enjoy games like carroms, chess, and other amusements suitable for young children.
The top floor was entirely dedicated to food. Among the four shops available, three were occupied by elegant cafes. Helen, seizing the opportunity, claimed one shop for herself, naming it Spade's FF-short for Spade's Fast Food.
"I shall serve burgers, French fries, and pizza here," Helen decided, aiming to provide a taste of luxury for those accustomed to plain, steamed food. It seemed that her path to increasing wealth was steadily unfolding.
The entrance to the mall left visitors in awe with its magnificent sculptures of mermaids. Welcoming them were graceful ladies dressed in modern suits, a deliberate effort by Helen to challenge gender discrimination in this male-dominated society.
By creating this establishment, Helen had envisioned a place where commoners, previously looked down upon, could seek employment without fear of discrimination based on gender.
