Teddy Daniels:

(In a low, but urgent tone)

"Why are you so quiet, Chuck? Everything here is wrong... you know that, right? It's not normal. This isn't normal."

Chuck Aule:

(His voice is calm, as if he's thinking each word through carefully)

"I know, Teddy. But sometimes, accepting what's happening is the only thing that keeps us on our toes."

Teddy Daniels:

(Turning to him, her eyes filled with despair)

"Accept?! This is a nightmare, Chuck! There's something... something dark on this island. I'm sure there's something else. Something they're keeping from us."

Chuck Aule:

(Raising his hand in a calming gesture, his face more serious than ever)

"Don't be mistaken, Teddy. I feel it too. I've felt it since day one. But we have to be calm if we're going to get out of here. Otherwise, we'll get lost. Whatever's going on, it's way beyond us."

Teddy Daniels:

(His breathing quickens, his fingers clenching the brims of his hat, as if that would anchor him to reality)

"I can't! I can't stay here without doing something. It's like everything's falling into place... this place, these people... Not everything is what it seems."
