Deux's POV
The dimly lit corridor stretched before me, a cold and desolate passage leading to the private cell of the failed Omega experiment. The air was thick with an intoxicating lavender scent, growing stronger with each step I took. It called to me—lured me in like an unseen force compelling me forward.
My heart pounded against my ribs, beating louder with every inch I closed between myself and the mysterious figure I had come to see. Yet, just as I neared the end of the corridor, a soft, eerie humming filled the silence. The sound slithered through the air like a whispering omen, sending a chill down my spine.
And then I saw the Omega being.
A lone figure stood at the end of the passage, the Omega's back turned to me. The posture was unnervingly still—too still. It was as it had been waiting. As if she knew I was coming.
I didn't move. Neither did the Omega.
The dim lighting barely touched her pale skin, but I could make out the details—the long, light brown hair with streaks of gold cascading down her back, looking impossibly soft. Her skin was porcelain, flawless, except for the faint rosiness on the elbows and fingertips. She is draped in a loose, white garment, almost ethereal, but the heavy iron restraints binding her wrists and ankles were a stark contrast. The Omega was a prisoner.
Yet, despite the shackles, she remained still, unbothered. And didn't turn.
I drew in a breath. "I am Deux, and I know you can sense my presence."
Silence.
Then, with agonizing slowness, the Omega turned her head toward me.
And I froze.
I wasn't sure what I had expected—but it wasn't this.
A man?
My throat went dry. "A... male Omega?"
As if acknowledging my disbelief, he fully turned to face me. His features were striking—delicate, haunting, yet sharp in a way that sent unease through my bones. He was almost beautiful. Almost inhuman.
His face remained void of emotion, blank as he studied me.
And then, he tilted his head—just slightly, just enough—before an invisible force slammed me to my knees.
What the—?!
My body betrayed me. I hadn't willed myself to kneel, yet here I was, head bowed before him like some devout follower before a god.
"W-what is this?" My voice wavered as I struggled to move, to stand—but my limbs refused. My entire body felt locked in place, my muscles stiff, unyielding.
And then—my hands.
They moved.
Not by my command.
My fingers slowly curled, shaking, trembling, before drifting toward my own throat.
No... no, no, no!
The moment realization struck, it was already too late.
My hands—my own damn hands—tightened around my neck.
I gasped, choking, my vision swimming as my grip grew crushingly strong. I could feel my own pulse hammering beneath my thumbs, feel my airway constricting beneath the pressure.
Was this his doing?
He hadn't spoken a single word. Hadn't even lifted a finger. And yet, here I was, suffocating myself at his silent command.
This... this is impossible!
I fought against my own body, struggled to pry my hands away, but the unseen force holding me in place was merciless. This wasn't just dominance—this was absolute control.
Panic clawed at my chest. This is just like before.
Just like when I was in the Alpha Territory Treasure Hunt Competition with Champ.
That time... I had fallen to my knees before him too. My body had recognized his power, his presence, and submitted instantly.
But this... this was worse.
This was lethal.
"S-stop!" I rasped, barely able to push out the words. "I—I'm not your enemy! I came here to save you!"
No reaction.
The Male Omega simply watched, expressionless, as I struggled beneath his unseen power.
"Please... believe me...!" My vision blurred, dark spots dotting my sight as my lungs screamed for air. My hands only tightened further, nails digging into my own flesh. "I... I just w-wanted to help you... and... your child!"
A flicker of something crossed his face. His blank expression shattered for the first time—his eyes widened, sharp and alert.
But then—
Pain.
Agonizing, all-consuming pain.
My hands crushed my throat even harder, my body pushing itself closer to death. He wasn't loosening his hold.
He was making it worse.
Shit—shit, I can't breathe!
I clawed at my own fingers, my lungs burning, my mind spinning. Was this it?
Is this where I will die?
Was my father right?
Should I have never come here?

Champ's POV
As we stood around, chatting while waiting for our escort to take us to the victory party, the atmosphere was light and buzzing with excitement. Jiggs and the four beta males were bantering, hyping up the event like it was the grandest thing to ever happen in our lives.
That was until my eyes landed on Jiggs' massive bag.
I raised an eyebrow. "Jiggs, what the hell is that? Are you going camping or moving out?"
Jiggs, ever the drama king, puffed out his chest. "These are my just-in-case supplies! You never know what might happen! What if they spring an on-the-spot Alpha fighting competition? At least we'll be prepared!" He struck a heroic pose, one hand on his waist, looking far too pleased with himself.
I snorted, shaking my head. "You're insane—ha... ha... ha..."
Wait.
Why can't I breathe?!
A strange tightness coiled around my throat, making me clutch Jiggs' arm for support.
Jiggs immediately turned to me, frowning. "Champ? You good?"
I swallowed hard, rubbing my neck. "I—I don't know... It feels like something is choking me."
Jiggs blinked. "Maybe you're just excited about the party?"
"No... this is different." A creeping sense of dread settled in my gut.
Jiggs squinted at me. "Or maybe your scarf is too tight?"
I exhaled sharply, adjusting it just in case. "Maybe... but I feel weirdly anxious. Like... something's wrong."
"Yeah, yeah, it's just nerves," Jiggs waved me off. "Happens to the best of us, Champ!"
"I hope so..." But deep down, I knew this wasn't normal.
I had never felt this kind of suffocating unease before—not unless...
"Deux..." I muttered under my breath.
Jiggs snapped his head toward me. "Why are you looking for Deux?"
I stiffened. Shit. Had I said that out loud?
A sinking feeling hit me. Could it be that something bad was happening to him?
My hand instinctively went to my neck—to the very spot Deux had marked me.
Something was wrong. I knew it.
"Come to think of it... I haven't seen Deux lately." I said, trying to sound casual.
Not that I was actively looking for him, because—ugh, he annoyed me. But it was weird that he hadn't shown up lately.
Jiggs shrugged. "Probably on some mission for the Alpha King. Maybe he went somewhere far."
I frowned. "Then why didn't he tell me?"
Jiggs grinned, "Oh, so he's supposed to report to you now? What are you, his wife?"
"You're so damn annoying!" I grumbled, punching him lightly in the stomach. "But seriously—he was everywhere just a few days ago. And now? Nothing. Not even a trace of his presence."
Jiggs gasped dramatically. "Oh no! What if Deux is dead?! You're a widow, Champ!"
I shot him a glare. "Jiggs, I swear to god, I'm this close to snapping your neck."
(Car honking!)
Before Jiggs could throw another dumb joke, an insanely luxurious car rolled up in front of us.
Jiggs' jaw dropped. "Champ! Is this the official service of the Champ Clan?! Are we rich now?!"
I rolled my eyes as the beta staff motioned for us to get in. The others were thrilled, practically bouncing in excitement.
But me?
I was stuck with one thought.
Where the hell was Deux?
...
I tried to focus on the ride, but even as Jiggs and the others joked around, I couldn't shake the gnawing worry in my chest.
I reached for my neck again, fingers grazing over Deux's mark. A silent hope flickered within me—that wherever he was, he was okay.
Then, an idea hit me.
I grabbed my phone and scrolled through my contacts, searching for Deux's number.
...Wait.
Where the hell is it?
I blinked. Then scrolled again.
Nothing.
Nothing!
I DON'T HAVE HIS NUMBER?!
After all the things we did (especially on my sinful sofa), I did not even had the chance to get his number? Excuse me?
I whipped my head toward Jiggs. "Jiggs! Do you have Deux's number?!"
Jiggs barely glanced at me. "Nope! Never asked for it."
I gawked. "Seriously?! In all the time we've known him? After everything we've been through?! I don't even have his number?!"
Jiggs chuckled. "Guess you'll just have to wait and see if your 'husband' comes back."
"I hate you."
"You love me."
I groaned, slumping back in my seat.
Fine. Whatever. Deux was probably fine. Probably.
...But if anything did happen to him, I was going to kill him myself for making me worry this much.
Please, Deux, take care of yourself! Don't let me come to you and save your ass!
Don't humiliate yourself as an Alpha being saved by an Omega!
...
...
...
The moment we arrived at the victory party venue, I knew this was no ordinary celebration.
The entrance alone was extravagant—a red carpet stretching from the street to the grand doors of the Royal Court, lined with glowing chandeliers and staff standing at attention.
Jiggs practically lost his mind.
"Damn! We're basically celebrities now! I can't believe this!" he gushed, looking around in awe.
The four Beta males with us were equally overwhelmed, their eyes wide as if they'd accidentally stumbled into a royal gala.
Meanwhile, I was dealing with mixed emotions.
I wanted to enjoy this. I should be basking in the luxury, soaking in the moment. But there was this unshakable feeling of unease gnawing at me, making my stomach twist.
Before I could dwell on it, a Beta staff member stepped forward, bowing slightly before me.
"Alpha Champ, we are honored by your presence."
I nodded. "Thank you."
"Please, follow me. I will escort you inside."
And so, we began our walk down the glorious red carpet, entering the heart of the Royal Court.
Jiggs, ever the chatterbox, sidled up beside me.
"Champ, this is next-level! VIP treatment feels different, huh?" he whispered excitedly.
The Beta males behind us were equally fascinated, turning their heads in every direction, soaking in the grandeur.
Then, we entered the dining hall—and holy hell.
A massive, elegant banquet table stretched across the room, adorned with dishes I couldn't even name. The food looked insanely expensive, the type of gourmet dishes you'd see in a five-star fine dining restaurant.
And then came the seating arrangement.
The Beta staff led me toward near the head of the table, right next to the party's organizer, who would sit at the prestigious main seat.
But before I could sit—
"Uh, excuse me? What about us? The amazing Champ Clan members?" Jiggs chimed in, flashing a hopeful grin.
The Beta staff blinked. "You?"
Jiggs nodded eagerly.
The Beta staff frowned slightly and pulled out a list from his pocket, scanning through it before pointing to the furthest possible spot.
"Ah, yes. The members of the Champ Clan... You're seated all the way over there."
I followed his finger.
They were literally assigned to the opposite end of the table.
As if they weren't even part of the celebration.
Jiggs' face fell. "Huh? Why are we so far from Champ?"
"Yeah, they should sit with me," I agreed, raising an eyebrow at the Beta staff. "Fix it. Please."
The Beta staff fidgeted nervously. "I-I'm just following the seating arrangement..."
Before he could say another word, a calm but authoritative voice interrupted.
"I believe the guest of honor's request should be granted."
Everyone turned toward the source of the voice.
An older man stood behind us, radiating an unmistakable Alpha presence. His scent alone told me he was someone important.
"Let the members of the Champ Clan sit beside him. It would be unfair to place them at the farthest end," he said with a polite smile.
The Beta staff straightened immediately. "O-of course, Councilor Jude!"
Wait—Councilor?! I've heard about them but not quite sure what they actually do.
Jiggs leaned in and whispered. "Ohhh, big shot alert. This guy's on the Alpha Council, Champ. You better behave."
"No! Tell that to yourself! You better behave!" I snapped back, whispering.
The Beta staff quickly corrected the seating, and Jiggs fist-pumped the air.
"YES! I really thought we were getting banished to the far-off lands of the table!"
The Beta staff bowed apologetically. "I'm very sorry for the confusion. Please, enjoy your stay."
Once he left, the Alpha Councilor—Jude—turned to me with a smile.
"So, you're the legendary Champ."
I nearly choked. "Legendary? That's a bit much, don't you think?"
Jude chuckled. "I am Jude, a member of the Alpha Council, one of the governing bodies of our world."
I turned to Jiggs. "Do you have any idea what he's talking about?"
Jiggs smirked. "Champ, do you need a lifeline? Want to 'call a friend'?"
I sighed, resisting the urge to smack him.
Jude laughed. "Go ahead, explain it to him."
Jiggs puffed up his chest. "The Alpha Council consists of ten high-ranking Alpha males. They have the authority to appoint the Alpha King through legal means. Their decision is final when it comes to naming the next ruler."
Then he turned to me with a smug grin.
"So, Champ, maybe don't mess this up? You never know, you could be next in line."
I snorted. "Me? Alpha King? Jiggs, are you insane?!"
Jude tilted his head. "Why not? You have great potential. Your performance in the recent competition speaks for itself."
I laughed nervously, but internally, I was screaming.
If only he knew—I wasn't even a true Alpha!
What kind of mess had I walked into?!
And then—
Jude sniffed the air.
"Hmm... I do detect your unique scent, but also, I can smell Prince Deux's scent on you."
My entire body stiffened. Sweat instantly formed on my forehead—even though the venue was freezing.
Crap. Crap. CRAP.
Jiggs, being the absolute menace he is, saved me in the most ridiculous way possible.
"Oh! Champ, before I forgot, Master Deux wants me to tell you to return his suit and tie after the party. And to not ruin it—otherwise, He will eat you... alive. If you know what I mean."
I snapped my gaze at him. "Jiggs—"
I don't know if I should be grateful or I should punch him in the face!
That damn Deux already ate me for sure!
"AHHH! YES!" I forced a laugh, nodding frantically. "That's it! It's just his clothes! Haha! Nothing else! Definitely no other reason!"
Jude nodded, satisfied. "I see. That makes sense."
I subtly shot Jiggs a grateful look.
Then Jude asked something that made my brain short-circuit.
"So, are you and Prince Deux close friends?"
The sweat returned.
"Uh... y-yeah?" I stammered. "We're, uh, friendly rivals! Yep. Totally just rivals!"
Jude smiled. "That's a strong bond. But tell me, what happens if you two must compete for the Alpha King's title?"
I waved him off. "He can have it. I'm just a regular Alpha. Deux is more suited for it."
Jude chuckled. "Such humility. You have my vote, then."
I froze.
"Wait—WHAT?!"
Jude simply smiled.
Then—
"By the way, Prince Deux won't be attending the party." Jude said suddenly. "According to his father, he's currently occupied with... important matters."
A bad feeling crept up my spine. "What kind of important matters?"
Jude leaned in, lowering his voice.
"It seems Prince Deux is currently... creating an heir with an Omega Female."
...WHAT.
My entire soul left my body.
My smile twitched. "Ahahaha... is that so?"
DEUX, YOU LITTLE—!!!
I gritted my teeth, maintaining my polite smile.
After you saw my chest that night, maybe you got disappointed and already itching for a bigger breast which I don't have!
Just wait until I see you again, Deux! YOU, YOUR PRECIOUS OMEGA FEMALE AND YOUR FUTURE CHILD CAN ROT TOGETHER!!!
"It is necessary for them to preserve their throne. There must be an heir to continue their bloodline," Jude explained. "However, Deux is currently in a precarious position with the Council—especially after his defeat against you. Keep this between us, Champ."
I swallowed hard.
Oh no. I might be the reason Deux doesn't become Alpha King?! Forgive me, Deux!
"Me? Really, Council Jude? That seems a bit extreme. Deux is strong, smart..."
Pfft. Where?!
"He's responsible..."
Ha! Good one, Champ. Keep lying!
"And he genuinely cares about his members," I added.
I wanna throw up already!
Jude nodded. "Thank you for speaking highly of Prince Deux. However, if he continues to fail, he may lose the throne. Right now, because you have acquired more territories than him, you are already equal to him in rank. And because of this, his chances are dwindling."
"Is that so?" I said with an amused smirk.
You know what? Maybe I'll just gift Deux some of my territories. That should help him.
...Wait a minute.
OR
What if—what if I actually become Alpha King?
Even though I'm an Omega?
Hehe.
Now that's a fun thought.
What are the chances? Hmmm?
"Umm, Champ? You good?" Jiggs asked, giving me a concerned look. "Your smile is getting kinda scary... Are you plotting world domination?"
"Shut up!" I huffed, shaking my head.
...
A few moments later, while Jiggs and I were busy messing around, the Beta staff re-entered the hall, signaling that the party was about to start so we have to take our seats.
More guests began arriving, filling the large banquet hall. The once half-empty room was now bustling with important-looking people, and suddenly...
I felt extremely self-conscious.
"Jiggs!" I whispered urgently, nudging him. "Cover me! Quick! Everyone's staring at me! I feel awkward!"
Jiggs grinned. "Say no more!"
Like a true best friend, he immediately moved to block me from their view.
Except... the guests were persistent.
Every time Jiggs blocked their line of sight, they leaned in another direction to get a better look.
And what did Jiggs do?
He moved with them.
They leaned forward? Jiggs shifted forward.
They leaned backward? Jiggs moved backward.
This absolute madman even got the other Beta males involved—they formed a living human shield to protect me from the judgmental gazes of the crowd!
I had to bite my lip to stop myself from laughing.
It was absolutely ridiculous—a group of grown men playing peekaboo with the noble guests who were clearly trying to figure out what the hell was going on.
And then—amidst the chaos—I noticed a vacant seat at the head of the table.
Someone wasn't here yet.
"Uh, Council Jude?" I asked, lowering my voice.
"Yes, Champ?"
"The seat beside us—isn't someone supposed to be sitting there?"
Jude nodded. "Yes, but it appears they haven't arrived yet. Why do you ask?"
"Are they the one who organized this victory party? The person sitting there?"
"Correct." Jude smiled.
I exhaled in relief. "I can't wait to meet them and thank them properly."
Jude's smile widened. "That's great! You will finally have the chance to meet the Alpha King himself."
...
...
Wait. What?
I froze.
My entire soul left my body.
"T-The Alpha King?" I repeated, my voice barely above a whisper.
Oh. Oh no.
This is bad.
Very bad.
Champ, this is it. This is your end.
I could already feel the oxygen leaving my lungs.
I was choking on pure anxiety.
Why didn't anyone warn me?!
I was about to meet THE Alpha King?! The most powerful, the most respected, the most terrifying figure in our world?!
And I—an Omega pretending to be an Alpha—was sitting RIGHT NEXT TO HIM?!
This is not fine.
This is the opposite of fine.

Third Person POV
The entire palace was abuzz with preparations for the Alpha King's grand arrival at the victory party. Every detail had been meticulously arranged, every guest eagerly anticipating his presence.
Well, except for Champ.
But just as the Alpha King was about on his way—
His phone rang.
His sharp gaze flickered toward the caller ID.
The Omega Secret Facility.
A deep frown settled on his face as he answered. "What is it?"
On the other end, a panicked voice responded.
"Alpha King! Something terrible has happened!"
The urgency in the Beta scientist's voice immediately put him on edge. "Speak."
"It's Master Deux!"
The Alpha King's entire demeanor stiffened. "What about Deux?"
"He—he's inside! He's entered the cell of the failed Omega experiment!"
For the first time in years, the Alpha King's blood ran cold.
"WHAT?!" His roar echoed through the car, the sheer force of his voice sending shivers down the spines of those nearby. "How did this happen?!"
"We—we don't know! We have no idea how he opened it! He must have gotten the access code!"
The Alpha King's jaw locked. His mind raced. "And where the hell would he have gotten that code?!"
In the Alpha King's mind, there was no way Deux should have had access. That cell was supposed to be on maximum security lockdown.
A flicker of realization crossed his features before he shook his head in dismay.
"Deux... what have you done?"
Without wasting another second, he turned to his Beta male who's driving for him, his voice sharp as a blade.
"Change of plans. We're heading to the Omega Secret Facility. Now."
The driver nodded quickly, making a sharp U-turn as the tires screeched against the pavement.
The Alpha King brought the phone back to his ear, his voice grave.
"I'm on my way. If I don't arrive in time, Deux will be dead before he even realizes his mistake."
The Beta scientist gasped. "We've already stationed ten Alphas outside the cell! But we still don't know what's happening inside!"
The Alpha King's grip tightened around the phone, his knuckles turning white.
This was exactly what he had warned Deux about.
And now, his worst fear was becoming reality.
"Deux, you reckless fool!" He clenched his teeth. "I told you to stay away from that Omega! Do you have any idea what kind of danger you've put yourself in?!"
His mind flashed back to the horrifying experience he had with that Omega—an anomaly, an experiment that should have never existed.
And now, Deux was locked in there with it.
With death itself.
The Alpha King exhaled sharply, forcing himself to remain calm.
There was still time.
There had to be.
He would not let Deux die.
With his destination clear, he made one last call.
The Beta staff at the victory party answered instantly.
"Alpha King?"
"Listen carefully. I won't be attending the party. An emergency has come up. Handle the guests in my absence."
"Understood, Alpha King."
Ending the call, his expression darkened.
His fists tightened, the tension in his body palpable.
"Deux... you damned idiot." His voice was low, seething. "What the hell were you thinking, walking into that death trap?"
And then, almost as an afterthought, a scoff escaped his lips.
"And as for you, Champ..." he muttered, his voice filled with quiet amusement. "Looks like you're lucky tonight. Our confrontation will have to wait."
But soon.
Very soon.
He would deal with Deux.
And after that...
Champ's fate would be sealed.
...
...
...
Champ's POV
I swear, I must have sweated an entire bucket by now—even though the venue was practically freezing.
"Champ, are you okay? You look like you need to take the biggest dump of your life," Jiggs whispered, eyeing me with suspicion.
"Can we... leave?" I muttered, trying not to panic.
Jiggs blinked. "Huh? Why? What's wrong, Champ?"
I inhaled deeply, trying to steady my nerves. How the hell do I explain this?
"I—I'm not ready to meet the Alpha King. Jude said he's the one who organized this party."
Jiggs' eyes went wide, his expression quickly mirroring my panic.
Wait—why was he nervous too?
"Alright, listen," Jiggs whispered conspiratorially, leaning in. "Just act like you're in a hurry and run out. When they ask me why you left, I'll tell them you have explosive diarrhea. Like, the kind that would ruin your reputation forever. Got it?"
"That's humiliating!" I hissed.
"It's humiliating, but it's better than dying!" Jiggs shot back.
...He had a point.
I was about to make my escape when—
A Beta staff suddenly appeared in front of us.
"Where are you heading, Champ?" Jude's voice cut through the air, his gaze sharp.
Oh, come on!
I froze, my mind blanking out completely.
"Uhh—umm..." I stammered, I was about to say what Jiggs told me.
Before I could dig my own grave, the Beta staff spoke up.
"Alpha Champ, I have an important announcement. The organizer of this event—the Alpha King—will not be attending due to an unforeseen situation."
Silence.
Jiggs and I slowly turned to look at each other.
Then, at the same exact time, we both exhaled the biggest sigh of relief.
"The Alpha King won't be coming? Did he mention why?" Jude asked.
"No, but judging by his tone, he was in a hurry," the Beta staff responded.
For a second, I thought I was going to die.
This was divine intervention.
I was safe!
At least, that's what I thought—until Jude asked another question.
"Then... who will take his place?"
And just as he said that, I caught a new scent in the air.
It was... strange.
Rich. Heavy. A mix of dark chocolate with something sharp and dangerously sweet.
A voice suddenly rang out from behind us.
"That would be me. I'll be taking my older brother's place."
Every muscle in my body locked up as I turned my head toward the newcomer.
He strode into the venue confidently, his eyes laser-focused on me as if he had already decided something about me before even speaking.
And he didn't just look at me.
He studied me.
Like he was analyzing every inch of my existence—my face, my scent... hell, maybe even my soul.
"Champ..." he murmured, his voice smooth, yet laced with something I couldn't quite place.
Then it hit me.
If he was the Alpha King's brother...
That meant—
He was Silver's father.
Oh. Shit.
The man inhaled deeply, as if tasting the very air around us.
Then, he smiled.
"We finally meet, Champ." His voice was pleasant—too pleasant. "I'm Crest, the Alpha King's younger brother."
And then, he leaned in close to my ear, lowering his voice.
"My son, Silver, has told me quite a bit about you."
I stiffened.
This wasn't good.
He knows.
He knows something.
"Don't worry," Crest whispered, "I'll play with you... as long as you play by my rules."
My blood ran cold.
What the hell did he mean by that?!
And then—just to cement my growing sense of doom—he slowly pulled back, his fingers lightly grazing my chin as he tilted my face up just slightly.
"Your scent... your face..." Crest mused, his eyes flickering with something unreadable. "It's... familiar."
Then, to my absolute horror, his lips curved into a nostalgic smile.
"It must be... It reminds me of something from my past. Ah... good times. Good times."
...WHAT.
Behind me, Jiggs whispered frantically.
"Champ, do you wanna leave? Like, right now? We can totally go. I can fake a heart attack if needed."
I was about to agree when Crest cut me off.
"Now then, let's begin this grand ceremony for Alpha... Champ."
His sharp grin sent a shiver down my spine.
I swallowed hard.
This guy...
He was just like Silver.
Too similar.
And if Silver was already bad enough...
Then Crest was ten times worse.
I was not safe here.
...
...
...
Deux's POV
"W-Wait! I-I'm not your enemy!" I choked out, my breath ragged and shallow as my own hands tightened around my throat.
My own hands.
I could feel the crushing pressure, my windpipe straining against the force, my lungs screaming for air. But no matter how much I fought against it, my body refused to obey.
This wasn't just power.
This was absolute control.
Was this... the true strength of an awakened male Omega?
He didn't have to speak.
He didn't have to move.
And yet, here I was—on my knees, strangling myself to death at his silent command.
His presence alone was overwhelming, suffocating in a way I had never experienced before.
And yet—
His expression remained neutral.
No anger. No hatred.
Just an empty, piercing stare—as if he was watching, waiting, judging.
I gritted my teeth, forcing my will against the unseen force controlling me.
"F-For Champ... my life... won't end here!" My voice was barely a whisper as my fingers dug deeper into my own skin. "I—I came here to help you! To save you!"
Then—
Something shifted.
His eyes flickered with something... different.
A single tear slipped down his porcelain cheek.
For the first time, he parted his lips. And in a voice so hauntingly soft, he spoke.
"I won't stop... not until I have justice."
His voice sent a shudder down my spine.
"They took everything from me. My freedom. My life. My beloved... and most of all..."
His breath hitched, his shoulders trembling as more tears followed.
"My two children."
My world stopped.
My pulse froze in my veins.
D-Did I hear that correctly?
His... two children?
My mind raced, piecing together the implications of his words.
Champ... has a sibling?
Who?
