Being Honest To Josh

"Josh, why do you say that? You are certainly playing a significant role. You assist Tina and me! That's a fact. You should be proud of it."

Aurora smiled, and she managed to comfort Josh. But a concern still clouded his eyes.

"I know. But look at you now... you have an apparent forehead wound. If I had followed you inside, you would be fine and won't get hurt. And how am I supposed to meet your husband now?" Josh's question sounds more like a statement.

A sudden tightness gripped her heart. The anxiety she had pushed aside came rushing back, filled with thoughts about meeting Alex's entire family, especially her father.

"With how you look now, I can't hide anything about the incident from him. They trim your hair a bit to sew your scalp—" Josh lost his words when he saw her expression wither. He could only grit his teeth, feeling lost.
