Chapter 0012: The Triple-Threat Talent

Chen Liuhe chuckled silently as Qin Ruohan shot him a fiery glare. "Is this your grand solution, Chen Liuhe?" she snapped. "You just gave away 20% of my club without even asking? This is **my** business! Who gave you the right to decide?"

Chen shot her a frosty look. "What did you expect? For me to wave a magic wand and make the Black Dragon Society vanish? Go dream another fairy tale." He leaned back mockingly. "If you hate it so much, negotiate with Zhou Yunkang yourself. I'll step aside."

Qin's face paled. "I… I didn't mean it like that," she stammered, her defiance crumbling. "You could've at least consulted me." The unspoken truth hung between them: Without Chen's intervention tonight, she'd already be ruined.

"Do you think the Black Dragon will honor the deal?" she asked weakly.

"That depends on how much Zhou values his neck," Chen replied, picking dirt from his nails. "But he's smart. Smarter than you—he's got more to lose."

"That monster deserves to die!" Qin spat.

Chen snorted. "Killing him's easy. Then what? Stabilize first. Revenge later. Throw a tantrum now, and you'll end up in a ditch."

Qin bit her lip. "Thank you… for tonight."

"Save the gratitude. Pay up."

Without hesitation, Qin pulled three stacks of cash from her desk—30,000 yuan. Chen tossed the money to Huang Million. "Build your sister a school. Or a house. Your call."

Huang's eyes bulged at the windfall. "Sixth Brother, I can't—"

"Shut it. You earned this."

Huang grinned, yellow teeth gleaming. "Guess I'll finally fix Ma's leaky roof."

Chen turned to Qin, eyebrow raised. "Spit it out. What else?"

"Work for me," she blurted. "Both of you. I'll cover salaries… and your sister's medical bills."

Chen laughed outright. "Ah, needing human shields, are we?"

Qin didn't deny it. "Please. I'm drowning here. You're… different." Tears welled in her eyes. "I've lost everything. Don't let them take this last shred of hope."

"Flattery won't work," Chen drawled. "But for talents like us? We don't come cheap."

Qin nodded eagerly. "Name your price!"

Chen flashed a grin at Huang. "Deputy General Manager. No overtime. And lots of… **female colleagues**." He winked. "For *team cohesion*."

**Later That Night**

At a grimy night market stall, Huang slurped noodles like a king, feet propped on a stool. "Sixth Brother, today was legendary! We took down a Black Dragon bigshot!"

Chen smirked. "If that's your idea of 'legendary,' maybe stick to trash collecting."

"Whatever you say, Boss." Huang belched. "But Zhou's gonna retaliate, right?"

"Zhou's got the brains of a horny cockroach. The real game hasn't even started."

**Next Morning**

After dropping Shen Qingwu at school, the duo loitered downtown—Chen critiquing passing women's legs, Huang ogling chests like a seasoned "sports fan." By 3 PM, they rolled up to the Golden Jade Hall on their clattering tricycle.

Qin had gathered the entire staff. With a flourish, she announced: "Chen Liuhe is our new Deputy GM. Huang Million leads security."

The former security captain—booted after Chen's "suggestions"—glared from the exit.

As cheers (and groans) erupted, Chen leaned toward Qin and whispered: "One condition: My office better have a view of the massage parlor."

Qin's eye twitched. "You're impossible."

"Welcome to the team, *Boss*."
