Revelations of the Past

That evening, after the mission, the guild gathered around a small campfire outside the dungeon. The crackling flames brought warmth as everyone shared stories of their past.

Rohan began,

> "Before all this happened, did you ever dream of a better life, Kai?"

Kai's gaze fell on the dancing fire. "I used to read stories of heroes—people who rose from nothing. I never believed I could be one. I always felt like a target," he admitted softly.

Kian, with a thoughtful look, said,

> "It's hard to imagine a future when every day feels like a battle. But your strength is already shining through."

Lyra asked gently,

> "What do you hope for now, Kai?"

Kai hesitated, then said,

"I want to protect those who feel as lost as I once did. I want to become a beacon of hope, even if I was once broken."

Their voices intertwined with the fire's warmth, and for a moment, Kai felt that maybe his painful past could lead to a brighter future.
