A Stark New Robb Si
This is just a thought I've had, and while I’m not the best at writing, I thought I’d give it a try with some help from Grammarly and various wiki pages. I’m unsure if I’ll continue with this or if it’s even any good, but I really want to create a stronger version of Robb Stark who makes sensible plans based on his meta knowledge, especially from the show gained from the merging of my OC’s knowledge and soul.
For example, this Robb will know about the secret entrance into Casterly Rock, as revealed when Tyrion was building the sewer. He could also eliminate Ramsay Bolton after learning about warging, which would allow him to scout and potentially assassinate enemies. Additionally, he could learn the Old Tongue to help negotiate with the Free Folk, particularly the Thenns, who are more advanced and have giants. They would be a realistic choice to come across the Wall and Bend the knee as they are the most advanced and culturally close to an automatic city state, almost though I’m pretty sure they do have settlements in the books and the show it is somewhat mentioned I believe, but they would be given land. I don’t know where yet and it would make enough sense that there would be enough balloons, especially if the star offering this to them swore by the old gods, and spoke the old tongue, but this is just a bunch of planning and thoughts I had I don’t know how far I’ll end up writing this, but I hope you give it a shot.
It's almost something. Takes a while to get any steam, but once it gets going... it's ill thought out slop. It's not uniquely bad, very typical actually.
Call me Shameless, though that’s not my name. I hope you enjoy this story. I’m new to writing, but I’ve had this idea stuck in my head ever since reading "A Song of Ice and Fire" and watching the "Game of Thrones" TV show. I was really upset with the character development for certain characters and families, while others seemed to receive all the attention and benefits. Mostly, I’m referring to how the Lannisters received both all the hate and all the luck. They lasted way longer than they should have based on the world’s own facts, especially after Tywin died. There should have been nothing holding them together, particularly not Cersei Lannister, who was hated by almost everyone in that world—unless they were sleeping with her, and even then, half of them still hated her. On the other hand, the Starks were destroyed far too easily. Additionally, I found it absurd that Balon Greyjoy attacked the North. There was a reason he didn’t attack the North the first time he rebelled against the seven kingdoms as the north didn’t have a fleet as it didn’t have a fleet, the second time also there was nothing to gain. I know his character isn't meant to be very smart, but his lords would likely not have supported another rebellion against the seven kingdoms, especially by attacking the other kingdom actively revolting. It just doesn’t make sense that he would prioritize his seemingly nonsensical revenge against the Starks, who didn’t even have a fleet and indirectlyhelping Tywin over fighting against him, especially when it put the life of his son at risk, whom he practically gave up for dead but at the same time was the reason behind attacking the north it just was super illogical like he was mad that the star had his son even though it wasn’t the Starks fault that his son was there “ward” and so he’s going to attack him, even though it would most definitely cause his son to in fact die well, also not destroying any fleet of any of the other kingdoms in the process so that will definitely not be happening in my fanfiction and sorry about the rant Anyway in my story, I hope to bring a little more realism & fantasy to this medieval gritty world. Although I’m new to being an author and have never written an actual book, I have dabbled in some writing for school and a few university assignments, though I didn’t attend university for long. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this fanfic idea that has been on my mind until I finally decided to write it down, inspired by other self-insert or reincarnation fanfics that I’ve seen from more experienced writers, which have been absolutely amazing. I also already paid for the Grammarly subscription so I’m in it for the long haul now, but I can’t promise on update speed hope you guys enjoy[img=golden ticket]
