Chapter 30: The Death of Trust (Conclusion)

The battlefield was silent except for the crackling of black flames that devoured the remains of the traitors. The sky above the Forgotten World swirled violently, as if even reality itself feared Kuragami's wrath.

Kuragami remained seated on his Forgotten Throne, his expression unreadable. His once golden eyes, now deep violet, reflected no sorrow, no rage—only the vast emptiness of something that had transcended emotion.

The surviving demons, those who had not dared to strike, knelt before him in absolute submission. Their heads bowed, their bodies trembling. They had witnessed the impossible. Kuragami had defied death itself.

Alexandra stood at a distance, watching in silence. Even she, one of the most feared warriors of Hell, could not deny the truth—Kuragami was no longer something she could comprehend.

Kuragami finally spoke, his voice sending shivers through every soul present.

"This was your lesson," he said, his words slow, deliberate. "Betrayal is inevitable. Trust is an illusion. You all serve me not out of loyalty, but out of fear."

He stood, his presence alone making the air heavy. "And that is how it should be."

With a wave of his hand, the bodies of the fallen traitors were erased from existence—no remains, no souls left to wander. As if they had never existed.

Kuragami turned, his gaze meeting Alexandra's. "It's time," he said. "I begin my search for the ten strongest demons. And when I return, Heaven will burn."

With that, he stepped forward, opening a portal to the unknown. His journey had begun.
