A Presence Approaches
Kuragami stood in the heart of the Second Demoness's domain, his aura still twisting the very fabric of the universe. The strongest demons, Saphira, and even Alexander remained kneeling—crushed by the sheer weight of his power.
Yet, something else was approaching.
A presence.
A force unlike any other.
The air grew heavy as space itself seemed to shatter.
Then—a figure emerged from the void.
Tall. Clad in obsidian armor that gleamed with celestial runes. Eyes as deep as the abyss itself. His aura carried the unmistakable essence of both royalty and destruction.
The Second Demoness's son.
"So… you are Kuragami."
His voice was deep, powerful. Yet, it carried an unsettling calmness, as if he had already foreseen everything.
Kuragami met his gaze.
"And you are?"
The figure smirked.
"I am Veyros, the firstborn son of Demon King Rimuru and the Second Strongest Demoness. The rightful heir to this universe."
Alexander clenched his fists.
"Veyros… I heard you were missing."
Veyros chuckled, stepping forward. Each step cracked the ground beneath him.
"Not missing. Simply waiting. The gods are moving, after all. And now, you've finally arrived, Kuragami."
Kuragami remained silent.
Something about Veyros felt… familiar.
Then, the Second Demoness finally spoke.
"Veyros… tell him everything."
---
The Truth of Rimuru's Wives
Veyros exhaled, his abyssal gaze locking onto Kuragami's.
"You want to know who you truly are?"
"Then listen carefully."
Kuragami's eyes narrowed.
Veyros continued.
"Our father, the Demon King Rimuru, was not just a ruler. He was a force that neither gods nor demons could control. And he had three wives."
"The First Strongest Demoness, the most ruthless being in existence."
"The Second Strongest Demoness, my mother, the strategist and keeper of this domain."
"And lastly… your mother—the Goddess of Dragons."
The moment those words left his mouth, the atmosphere shifted.
Kuragami's heart pounded violently.
"My mother… was his wife?"
Veyros nodded.
"Yes. And you are the last son of Rimuru. The heir to both the demon and divine bloodlines."
Kuragami's breath hitched for a brief moment.
It made sense.
Why his power was beyond demons.
Why he could defy the gods themselves.
Why his mere presence forced even the strongest beings to kneel.
"Then… what am I?"
Veyros smirked.
"You are what the gods fear the most. The Successor of Infinity. The one who will break the cycle of divinity and demonhood."
"And because of that, Jews took your mother. He wants to erase the last bloodline of Rimuru before the war begins."
Kuragami clenched his fists. His nails dug into his own flesh.
"So that's why…"
"That's why they took her."
A dangerous silence followed.
Then—
Kuragami's aura erupted once more.
---
The Birth of Wrath
Black flames ignited around him. His golden eyes flickered with a chaotic, divine hatred.
The entire domain began to crumble.
Even Veyros took a step back, his smirk finally fading.
"This power…"
The Second Demoness's expression darkened.
"Kuragami, control your rage."
But it was too late.
Kuragami's bloodline had awakened.
"Jews…"
"You stole my mother."
"You fear my existence."
"Then you should have killed me when you had the chance."
His voice shook the universe.
"Because now, I will burn the heavens themselves."
Every demon present knelt once again.
The sheer pressure of Kuragami's rage had become an unstoppable force.
Veyros chuckled darkly.
"Now that… is a true heir of Rimuru."
The Second Demoness took a deep breath.
"Kuragami… if you truly wish to face the gods, then you must do what even Rimuru could not."
Kuragami turned toward her, his eyes glowing with the promise of destruction.
"Then tell me."
"What must I do?"
She stared at him.
"You must awaken the power of Infinity itself."
