Chapter 6: Pieces of a Forgotten Past

Julian stood frozen, staring at the message on the wall.

"STOP DIGGING, BROTHER."

His heartbeat pounded in his ears. Brother? That couldn't be true.

He had no siblings.

At least… that's what he had always believed.

But then—why was there a name buried in old school records? Why did a person with his exact face appear in the shadows?

And why couldn't Julian remember anything about it?

A Flash of Pain

Suddenly—

His head throbbed.

A sharp, piercing pain shot through his skull, making his vision blur.

Images flooded his mind.

A dimly lit room. The sound of laughter. A voice—warm, familiar.

"Don't be scared, Julian. I'll protect you."

Then—flames.

A woman's scream. A shadow standing over him.

And finally—

A name.

Julial.

The pain vanished. Julian gasped, gripping his head. His body felt ice-cold.

What the hell was that?

He had never experienced anything like it before. It wasn't just a memory—it felt like something had been forcibly locked away in his mind.

But why?

And more importantly—who had done it?

An Unlikely Ally

Julian forced himself to focus. He needed answers.

And there was only one person in this school who knew more than they should.

Suzy.

She wasn't just some high-ranking fighter. She was royalty.

And that meant she had access to information no one else did.

Meeting in the Garden

The sun was setting when Julian found her in the school's hidden garden, a place only a handful of students ever visited.

Suzy was sitting on the edge of a stone fountain, her long black hair flowing in the wind. Her violet eyes flickered toward him as he approached.

"You're late," she said, smirking.

Julian sighed. "I didn't say I was coming."

She raised an eyebrow. "You never come here unless you need something."

Julian leaned against a nearby tree. "What do you know about Julial?"

Suzy's playful smirk vanished.

For a moment, she said nothing. Then—

"Where did you hear that name?"

Julian studied her expression. "So you do know something."

Suzy hesitated. Then she glanced around, making sure they were alone.

"Julial…" she whispered. "That name isn't supposed to exist."

Julian's fists clenched. "Why?"

She took a deep breath. "Because the Royal Archives have records of a child who was… erased. Someone who should have been born, but was never recorded in history."

Julian's pulse quickened. "You're saying someone tried to erase him from existence?"

Suzy nodded. "And not just from documents. From memories."

A chill ran down Julian's spine.

Someone had erased Julial from his mind.

But why?

And why was Julial still alive—working with the Superhuman Mafia?

A Warning from the Royal Family

Suzy stood up, stepping closer. "Listen to me, Julian. If you've come across his name, you need to stop digging."

"Why?"

"Because the last time someone tried to uncover the truth about him… they disappeared."

Julian met her gaze. "Who?"

She hesitated. Then, in a quiet voice—

"My uncle."

The weight of her words settled between them.

Julian knew that Suzy's family was powerful. If even royalty had lost people to this mystery, then it was bigger than he imagined.

But instead of making him stop—

It only made him more determined.

A Shadow Watches

Unbeknownst to them, hidden in the branches above—

A pair of crimson eyes watched their conversation.

A faint whisper carried on the wind.

"You're getting too close, brother."

"Turn back… before it's too late."

And then—the shadow was gone.
