Some stories come from imagination, others from research.
And many did come from both. But only some few were coming from dreams.
How about mine? It came from dream turned to both.
And no, this is not merely your average lullaby kind of dream. This one played out in sequences, like a movie I was watching, except I was in-fact in it. I had never experienced anything like this before. My dreams are usually weird, sure, but this one stuck with me. It felt real, or was it? You know, it might a de ja vu. However, when I woke up, I couldn't help but not shake the feeling that there was something in-depth and intriguing behind it. So, instead of letting it go and move on... what did I do after that?
I started digging and digging, pulling them out into extensive research.
And that's how I ended up delving into things such as astrophysics, dark matter, and theories about how energy works in the universe. I went down to the rabbit hole, reading about something called "annihilation," where two opposite particles collide and basically cancel each other out, releasing energy in the process. It got me thinking: If regular matter has an anti-version of itself, what about dark matter? Could there be an "anti-dark matter" that, when smashed together, could create some crazy new form of energy?
Well, in-fact... there is.
It was the kind of thought experiment that made my brain hurt, but in a good way. And as I kept exploring, I started realizing something: This whole idea wasn't too far off from the stories I love. It reminded me of world buildings that blur the line between technology and human nature. That's when I knew for sure about it.
So, this dream? No, it wasn't just your ordinary dream, but a story waiting to be told.
And I will take you there, telling you what exactly this story is all about.
This story takes place in a future that feels both far off and strangely possible. A world built on science, but still full of chaos. Where people have advanced far beyond compared to what we know today, yet still struggle with the same old problems. It's not your typical sci-fi or fantasy story, but a mix of both. A place where destruction and creation go hand-in-hand. Where utopia and dystopia exist side-by-side.
There won't be any detailed description attached to this story. Not because I couldn't add them, but because I don't prefer to. I want you to see this world in your own way, not through my eyes. I want you to picture the characters, the cities, the technology on your own. However your mind envisions them, as it constantly captures the light that you can see by yourself, because it works such as a superior quantum processor.
So, take this as an invitation. Step into this world. Let it pull you in.
And importantly, for the most of all, enjoy the ride to the future.
