Mei Terumi

Naruto sat in the depths of his Nightmare Realm, his presence intertwined with the shifting horrors around him. The golden pyramid loomed in the distorted sky, a constant reminder of his ever-expanding influence. His sharp yellow eye gleamed as he reviewed his recent gains.

Kotoamatsukami.

The ultimate genjutsu, now his to wield.

And just as he predicted, the timeline remained stable. The Uchiha Massacre was still approaching.

Canon was holding firm. That was necessary. For now.

Still, he couldn't let anyone in Konoha get too suspicious of how much he'd changed. With a casual flick of his wrist, he created a clone—a perfect copy of his old, naïve self. The boy that played pranks, the idiot who was kicked out of class, the orphan that no one wanted. A puppet, nothing more.

Naruto smirked. "Go on. Play your role."

The clone gave him a cheeky grin before vanishing, seamlessly inserting itself into the Academy.

And then—something unexpected happened.

Mei Terumi. The future Mizukage. In Konoha.

Naruto's fingers twitched as his instincts screamed at him. This wasn't supposed to happen.

The current Mizukage, Yagura, was still under Tobi's genjutsu, turning Kirigakure into a living nightmare. A hellscape of blood, paranoia, and ceaseless civil war.

Why was Mei here?

Had she come to overthrow Yagura? Was she trying to forge alliances? Or was something else at play?

Naruto's sharp grin widened. he muttered, eyes glinting with dark amusement. "Looks like the story just got changed."

Meanwhile, in the Hokage's Office, Sarutobi was drowning in paperwork, his old fingers moving tiredly as he signed another document. The monotony of the task was interrupted by a knock on the door.

"Come in," he called, rubbing his temples.

The door creaked open, revealing a beautiful woman with long, auburn hair and an air of confidence. Sarutobi looked up, immediately recognizing her. His lips curled into a polite smile.

"Ah, I assume you are Mei Terumi?" he asked, extending his hand.

Mei stepped forward gracefully, shaking it firmly. "Yes, I am, Lord Hokage. How are you?"

Sarutobi chuckled softly, nodding. "I am very good, thank you for asking. How was your trip here to Konoha?"

Mei exhaled, folding her arms. "It was alright, lord hokage , although I am wondering if you have considered my proposal."

Sarutobi sighed, leaning back in his chair. His expression turned somber.

"I'm afraid I can't help, Mei." He shook his head. "We lack the manpower. The moment we assist your rebellion, Konoha will become vulnerable to attacks from other villages. We cannot afford that risk."

"And let's not forget—Yagura has the Sanbi sealed within him. Even if we were to fight him head-on, we do not have the power to take him down easily."

Mei fell silent. Her jade-green eyes darkened slightly, her hands tightening into fists.

However, suddenly, Mei felt something—a strange presence, subtle yet unsettling. Her jade-green eyes flicked toward the window, and what she saw made her tense.

A child—or at least, what looked like one—stood outside, wearing a black top hat and a dark coat, his single sharp yellow eye gleaming like a predator's.

Before she could react, the kid simply tipped his hat, an eerie, knowing gesture, before casually walking toward Konoha's entrance gate.

Something about him felt wrong.

Mei's voice was sharp. "Lord Hokage, did you see that kid?"

Sarutobi blinked, caught off guard. "Who?" He turned toward the window but saw nothing.

Mei frowned. "A yellow-eyed child wearing a top hat. He was right there."

Sarutobi sighed, shaking his head. "The only child I know with a connection to yellow is Naruto. But he's in the Genin Academy right now. He's just an orphan from the Kyūbi Incident, and he usually wears simple children's clothes, nothing like that."

Mei's eyes narrowed slightly. "Is that so…"

She turned on her heel, walking briskly out of the Hokage's office. Outside, two shinobi were waiting for her—Ao and Chōjūrō, her most trusted guards.

"Ao, activate your Byakugan," Mei ordered. "I need you to scan for someone."

Ao raised a brow but nodded, forming a seal. "Yes, Lady Mei."

Chōjūrō hesitated but readied his sword, stepping closer to Mei. "I'll guard you, Lady Mei."

Mei's jaw tightened. Something was off. And she needed to find out what.

Naruto Cipher walked casually toward the Konoha entrance gate, his cane tapping lightly against the ground. His yellow eye gleamed under the dim moonlight, his expression unreadable. The air was still, the village quiet—until—

"WAIT! STOP!"

A sharp voice cut through the night.

Before Naruto could take another step, a hand lunged forward, fingers grasping the edge of his black coat—

Only for it to vanish. Like it had never been there.

Mei froze, her breath catching in her throat. Her hand gripped nothing but air.

The kid she had seen—no, whatever that was—had just disappeared before her eyes.

Her jade-green eyes darted back and forth, searching for a sign, a flicker, a clue—anything that explained what just happened.

"You saw that, right?!" she demanded, whipping around to face Ao and Chōjūrō.

Ao's Byakugan pulsed with chakra, veins bulging around his temples as he scanned the area with precision. His expression darkened.

"I'm sorry, Lady Mei," Ao said, voice low and careful. "Even with my Byakugan, I… didn't see anything."

Mei's fingers curled into a tight fist.

But then—something fluttered between them. A piece of paper.

Her breath hitched. She hadn't noticed it before. Had he left it? Or had it always been there?

Her eyes narrowed as she read the message scrawled across it.

"Follow the footprints if you want to see how deep the rabbit hole goes."

Chōjūrō's voice shook slightly. "Lady Mei…" He lifted his sword slightly, pointing toward the ground.

A trail of footprints.

Leading away from Konoha's walls.

Ao's voice was grim. "These just appeared. And they lead to a specific location… outside the village."

Chōjūrō hesitated, his grip tightening around Hiramekarei. "Lady Mei… is chasing this kid really worth the trouble?"

Mei's grip tightened around the note .

"I have never been this alarmed in my entire life," she admitted, voice low and serious. "That boy—whoever, whatever he is—"

Her gaze locked onto the footprints,

"He's stronger than anyone I know."

Even Yagura. "I just hope I can convince him ."

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Mei moved forward, deeper into the forest. Her senses remained sharp, her jade-green eyes scanning the darkness. Every step felt heavier. Something was wrong.

"Ao, I need you to—"

Her words cut off as her eyes widened in horror.

Ao and Chōjūrō had collapsed on the ground, unconscious.

Mei's breath hitched. A sudden dizziness gripped her. Her vision blurred, her knees buckling beneath her. A heavy pressure weighed on her chest like a vice, crushing her body.

Genjutsu? No… This is different…

Her mind swirled as she fought against the creeping darkness. And then—she saw him.

A man stood before her. Eight feet tall.

An immense, towering presence that radiated raw, ancient violence. His frame was lean yet dense with muscle, his form exuding the lethal grace of a predator.

His face—rugged, primitive, yet eerily intelligent—bore a wide nose, a strong jaw, and crooked, thin, angular teeth that peeked from his lips in a chilling grin. His long, matted, stringy black hair framed his cold gray eyes, eyes that held no mercy, no hesitation—only the sheer delight of destruction.

But what struck Mei most were the scarlet tattoos covering his entire body.

Twisting. Writhing.

Demonic faces. Arcane symbols. Occult markings.

They pulsed with an eerie, Daevite glow, ancient sigils long forgotten to time.

And yet—Mei knew nothing of this creature.

She tried to speak—tried to move—tried to breathe—

Her body collapsed, her vision fading into black but not her senses .

Naruto appeared.

His cane tapped against the ground as he emerged from the shadows, his sharp yellow eye locked onto the towering figure.

"076." His voice was casual, yet carried an undeniable authority.

"Back to the Foundation. Or Bern will come here."

The towering man—SCP-076-02—lifted his gaze, his gray eyes narrowing.( img here )

A moment of silence. Then—he laughed.Deep.

"hahahaha …" The man's voice was smooth, yet layered with a sinister edge.

"The great O5 Council Third Seat… now weakened."

His grin stretched wider, revealing more of his razor-sharp teeth.

"How great… Naruto Cipher, the unshakable, the Architect of Nightmares…"

He took a slow step forward, his very presence distorting the air around them.

"Falling from the seat of power. How… delightful."

SCP-076-02 sneered, his gray eyes gleaming with dark amusement. "You no longer possess the power you once had. You're just a shadow of your former self."

Naruto's smirk didn't fade. Instead, he tilted his head, twirling his cane with a slow, deliberate motion. "I'll admit… I'd have some trouble fighting you right now."

His sharp yellow eye glowed with eerie amusement. "But you picked the wrong place to respawn."

SCP-076-02 scoffed. "Are you trying to blu—"

SHINK!

His words cut off as something pierced through his chest.

A scythe. A long, gleaming, wickedly curved blade protruded from his torso, slicing through flesh and bone like they were paper. His gray eyes widened, momentary shock flashing across his face.

Behind him—a girl materialized.

Dressed in a frilly pink dress , she held the scythe with graceful ease. Her light blue hair swayed slightly, and her piercing violet eyes glowed with mocking amusement.

A Witch.

Naruto chuckled. "You're late, Erika."

Furude Erika, Witch of Truth, Bernkastel's own creation, grinned. ( img here )

"Never thought my master's favorite would ask me for help," she cooed.

She twirled her scythe, wrenching it free from SCP-076-02's chest. Instead of blood, swirling dark mist poured from the wound, consuming his form.

Erika snapped her fingers.

Reality bent. Suddenly, hulking figures emerged from the void.

Towering, muscular Goats—the infamous "Theoretical Muscular Goats", the brute enforcers of Witches.

Without a word, they seized SCP-076-02, their massive hands gripping his arms and legs like he was nothing more than a toy.

Naruto watched with amusement as 076 struggled.

"You're being sent back," Erika mused. She made another graceful hand signal, and with a deafening crack, a portal ripped open behind them.

A nightmare chasm of swirling violet and black, a gateway back to the Foundation.

The Goats dragged SCP-076-02 toward it, his body already dissolving into conceptual nothingness.

Erika smiled. "Have fun in containment~."

With that—the portal snapped shut.

Naruto sighed dramatically. "You really took your time, Erika."

Erika twirled her scythe, smirking. "Oh, I wanted to savor the moment. You were so adorable, acting all helpless."

She tilted her head, placing a finger to her lips. "But, I do have one question."

Naruto raised a brow.

Erika's mocking grin widened. "Why did you run away, hmm? I could've taken your place as Master's favorite. I'm a detective, an intellectual rapist. The luxury was mine for the taking."

Her voice was laced with mockery, but there was an underlying curiosity.

Naruto exhaled. "I did your job for you that's good enough answer ." His voice was light. "Now, My turn ."

Erika tilted her head expectantly.

"Does Bern know I'm still alive?" Naruto said

For the first time—Erika's smirk faltered, just slightly.

Then, she sighed, placing a hand on her hip. "Oh, my Master is always aware."

She leaned in, eyes gleaming. "But she respects your decision."

Naruto's fingers twitched slightly.

Erika's grin returned, sharper than before. "Even your stepfather respects your choice."

Naruto's expression didn't change. But in his mind—he processed everything.

Furudo Erika's dark blue eyes darkened as she raised her scythe, the crimson glow of the Red Truth forming around it, ready to cut down Ao, Chōjūrō, and Mei in one fell strike.

Naruto's voice cut through the air—calm, but absolute.

"Ignore them, Erika. That's an order."

Erika's eye twitched. Slowly, her smile faded, replaced by something far colder. "An order?" she echoed, her voice drenched in mockery. "You ran away, and now you dare to order me? Me? The Witch of Truth, Bernkastel's own creation?"

She tilted her head, gripping her scythe tighter. Her very presence distorted the air, the weight of her authority pressing down.

Naruto didn't react.

Instead, he smirked. "Want me to call Bern here and now?"

Erika froze.

Naruto's smirk stretched wider, taunting. "How about that, Erika? I'll summon her, and you'll get replaced again—just like last time."

A thin veins ran through Erika's expression.

Naruto leaned in, voice mockingly light. "Or, better idea—you can fuck off back to Bern's room or maybe even Featherine Aurora's study. I'm sure she'll be thrilled to hear how you failed to kill one irrelevant woman."

Erika's grip tightened on her weapon. "This primitive world will know our origins and direct violation towards the rules of the Foundation."

Naruto rolled his eyes. "Said the girl whose master blew up multiple universes for her own amusement—and now she can't even ignore one woman who eavesdropped on our conversation."

Mei Terumi, though motionless, nearly flinched.

She was good at pretending. Her breathing was controlled, her body relaxed—like she was truly unconscious. But Naruto wasn't fooled. She was listening.Every word.

Erika slowly raised her scythe, bringing it toward Naruto's neck. Her dark blue eyes burned with something twisted.

"If I kill you right here—" she whispered. "All my problems will be solved."

Naruto didn't blink.

"Go ahead," he said smoothly. "But the whole multiverse will know that Furude Erika killed her rival just to become Bern's favorite."

His sharp yellow eye gleamed.

"And Featherine Aurora will laugh her ass off about it."

A long silence stretched between them.

Erika's lips curled. She lowered her scythe.

"Ugh." She scoffed, flipping her hair. "You're fucking annoying."

Naruto chuckled. "Like always ."

Erika sighed dramatically, then waved a hand. "Get that woman up."

Naruto smirked and leaned down, gently pressing a kiss to Mei Terumi's cheek.

Her jade-green eyes fluttered open, her face instantly turning red. For a moment, she looked dazed, like she was about to melt into something embarrassingly romantic—

But Naruto placed a finger against her lips.

"Just nod, alright?" His voice was smooth, quiet. "And everything will be fine."

Mei's eyes widened slightly. Then, slowly, she nodded.

Erika eyed the scene with thinly veiled amusement. "Be a good Mizukage later." Her dark blue eyes gleamed. "As long as you do, everything will be very, very fine."

Mei nodded again, her lips slightly parted, still flushed from the unexpected kiss.

Erika scoffed. "That's not enough."

Naruto smirked. "Frederica Bern—"

Erika's entire body stiffened.

Her scythe twitched. "Fine, fine!" she snapped, cutting him off before he could say the name in full. "I'm leaving!"

She spun on her heel, slashing her scythe through the air, opening a jagged portal back to the SCP Foundation HQ.

"Better make sure all of this stays under wraps, Naruto," she warned, stepping through.

The portal snapped shut behind her. And just like that—she was gone.

Mei Terumi stared at him, still flushed, still trying to process everything. Her voice came out quieter than she intended.

"Naruto… are you really a kid?"

Naruto let out a slow breath, his sharp yellow eye gleaming with something unreadable.

He adjusted his top hat, smirking slightly.

"This is going to take a long while."
