Rasing beast is costly...

Midori lay down on her bed exhausted, yesterday battle had earned seven silver coin which is enough to feed Ryu for three days.

She open the status panel of both today they had not gone to beast arena but they had done there usually training.

At night nix don't like to sleep with her so she let her sleep wherever she want as for Ryu he love to stick with her when he is not training.

She glanced at Ryu status not very much diffrent from yesterday but when she open nix status she almost fall down from her bed.

'are my eyes playing trick few sec second ago it's was really 897 now it's 898....this' she shook her head thinking that it must be her who had seen wrong.

But she couldn't help herself and took another look at the status.

Taking a deep breath she get up from the bed and start looking for nix but since it night and she very small with her body being in black colour it more hard to find her in dark.

In the end she use the connection between them to sense her location and found her hiding under the bed.

"Nix are you down there, you need to sleep stop practicing came out" soon a tiny figure came out from the bed and climb on her hand she gently pick her up and place her on the pillow which is specially prepared for her.

Early in the morning when Midori woke up she didn't found nix on the pillow which is not new, but cause of yesterday incident she open the status and....

This... She don't know what should she say to nix her willingness to work hard is impressive but she to be down from the fight yesterday.

Although it only had been less then days since they are together she can still tell her personality a little bit.

She is proudful and little bit arrogant too her yesterday fight is a huge blow to her prideful nature which had result into her working very hard.

She didn't bother nix but went to wash up after cleaning herself up and eating her breakfast, she and Lola both went to skull forest to gather silk leaf.

After filling the basket to the brim they went back to the shelter, she looks at her bed knowing the nix is under the bed.

She bend down and look under the bed only to be shock, a complex trap made of silk thread can be seen it looks like kind of spider web to catch it prey.

She can see nix still creating more thread and setting another layer of thread in the already formed trap.

Taking a deep breath she spoke "nix take a break and eat something first" nix calmly came out and start eating those leaf.

Midori take out energy milk and give it to Ryu who start enjoying his breakfast, she looks at nix who went back to train herself.

"Nix let's go to skull forest that place is much better to train them this small space" nix pause then turn around and crawl on her hand then she jump on her head.

She hug Ryu and went towards the church "sister Madea I'm going to skull forest to play"

"Have fun.....take me with you....you are not going, meditate here" she can hear Nero pleading voice and sister Madea scolding.

She turn around and happily walk towards the forest while walking she saw lot of villager whom she greet on the way.

Some stop her and ask if they can touch Ryu she didn't refuse and let them touch him, on the way she saw Noelle who insisted on coming with her, she didn't refuse.

So both of them went to the forest together, they directly went to the demon skull deep in the forest and let nix train herself.

As for Ryu she look at him who is eagerly looking at her then at the tree infront of her "Ryu you hit tree with your head but make sure to not circulate the energy within your body okay"

Without any hesitation Ryu start banging his head against the tree "uhmm it kind of....what kind of training is this"

"Ryu had headbutt as one of his skill since he can't train those skill, I let him those things that are natural without using the energy which is quite similar to skill training but is not the same once he turn one month old he already know how to do it without much pratice"

"Are you seeing what I'm seeing" Noelle slightly whisper to Midori.

"Nix silk thread is mainly used to create trap but since she don't want us to get untangle in it she is creating them more visible so be more careful" Midori explain the situation.

"But to be able to create such complex trap in just the time of our conversation which is hardly two minutes is quite....

She didn't finish her word as she couldn't found any words to finish her sentence, Midori also didn't said anything.

Both of them start doing push up and some basic excercises after all when her beast are working hard how can she afford to slack off.

When nix had depleted her energy close her eyes to rest "nix take out the energy recovery milk I buyed yesterday" she take it out and push it towards her.

"Drink it and continue training" nix pause for a sec before drinking the milk it took only few sec and all of her lost energy was recovered.

"This energy recovery milk is good but it too costly" but what she can do when her beast her working hard she had only support them by buying these things.

"How much this cost" Noelle asked her.

"3 silver coin for two bottles"
