ECLIPSE'S PROMISE

'Darkness cannot drive out Darkness, only light do that'.

SUN KINGDOM

HA-JUN'S POV:

ON THE 20TH ECLIPSE

I was training since I last remember all I could think of is train, train until I couldn't no more but it wasn't working I wanted more something challenging. I had my fighting partner my best friend Rion who was making this even better. Let's say Rion matches my strength and skills and he's better at combat whereas am better at sword fighting it's my specialty so we learn from each other and our favorite is absolutely archery.

"C'mon Jun is that all you got" he knew how to drive my patience and tamper with my strings and I liked that maybe I really needed to steam off because everything was a lot to take in.

"Want to see what I got?" I warned as I threw him a punch but he was quick to dodge it flying to the other side and hitting me in the guts "urgh" I groaned to the impact and suddenly launched my kick and getting him real good in the stomach while he fell down with an uff "wow" he slumped to the ground while panting, now I came to realize we've been going on and on with no break.

"You good bro?" Rion asked as I nodded and sat down next to him while looking far to the horses who were absolutely in their own world not minding anything unlike me "am ok, but you don't look ok" he pointed out "how can I be that horse?" I suddenly asked and turned to face him, he had this weird stare on me and his face looked funny, "am serious" and that's it he was down bad laughing off his sorry ass I hate him "a horse really, have some dignity" I rolled my eyes in annoyance of course he'll never be normal in any kind of circumstances.

"Ok sorry sorry" he calmed down and sat next to me letting the silence linger for awhile "do you want to go?" he asked and that's the easiest thing I could answer rather than what my great great great grandfather's name was. "You look troubled" he pointed out.

"I haven't been training it all for nothing, rather than the peace and safety of our Kingdom I have been training for a whole different reason, I knew this would eventually happen I always felt it. There are times I used to sleep and relax but suddenly there is this pain in my heart, everything crumbling through my eyes and whenever I want to reach it out it's so far but suddenly I feel like I could reach it but how...." I was confused but it didn't hurt saying it out, Rion was one to understand me most and I liked him for that.

"Well it looks like your holding back, your hesitating" he was right about that one "honestly back then I loved challenges I didn't have anything holding me back at all, I knew how to chase my own goals I didn't have anyone to leave behind waiting for me but now looking back everything has changed, I have my family, friends, the people and Yuna...." I mumbled the last part.

"You said she was ok with it and she would wait, your parents...you know they are tough nuts right?" that made me chuckle, of course my parents were the strongest, but what about my Yuna?

"She'll be fine" he pat my shoulder reassuring "you know she's a worrior right?" Of course she was a worrior, a strong one at that "of course and she'll end you when I say so" I received a hit on my shoulder "very grateful" Rion scoffed while standing up "let's go, you have not long to depart" he reminded "you didn't have to ruin the mood" I stood up too now I think I feel much better I can leave in peace.

"The moon prince owes you a lot now doesn't he?" Rion joked while we walked back inside the castle "am going all out for him something I have never done for Yuna he owes me one big time" I added as I let the words sink in, the prince gotta pay for saving him...

SURYANS POV: THE 20TH ECLIPSE HAPPENING..

"mom stop, you're embarrassing me" Jun said scratching his neck awkwardly as the Queen mother won't stop kissing the life out of him in front of the Suryans who were watching everything. "I won't see you soon just let me" she spoke with a sad voice and Jun had to let her be because himself will miss her so much, God he doesn't know how long he's going to be out of Sun city.

Everyone had gathered to send Prince Jun off to see him for the last time until he returns.

"It's been years how would he recognize the prince, he must be almost to Jun's age?" The king couldn't help but ask curiously at Aurelius "he'll be turning into the Golden age..." Aurelius started

"As a true prince of the moon and so the moon and it's seasons would be scribbled onto his back but .. .. be careful of untrue labels....." and like that he was done, really? Is all Jun could think to himself he really never understands Aurelius sometimes but just then Rion tapped beside him "here is all the research I got for you, my gift for your departure" now that's what Jun wanted to hear "you just saved my ass" he whispered to him as Rion grinned at him "just....come back soon" is all he said before giving him a brotherly hug and walking back behind to join the rest.

Yuna came forward pulling him into an affectionate hug and handing him a necklace that had a sun symbol to it "to keep you company" she spoke and broke the hug as Jun had a sad smile on him, he can't believe he's leaving all this behind but he doesn't regret it either.

Ha-Jun didn't carry anything special with him rather than his sword, his sword that could easily shift in his palm and fit perfectly on his finger like a golden ring, and carrying other necessities would be a waste of time because moving into another dimension means leaving your soul back and starting afresh but as a prince a few privileges helped.

It was a few minutes the eclipse was to take form, and open all the dimensions between earth, moon and sun as a portal. Jun contributed a sunstone to the crystal stone whispering his intensions and in response the stone glowed brighter absorbing his hopes making Jun smile, he's ready to go now.

The moment the eclipse took form slowly by slowly and so dark it went from both sides, a relaxed dark form took cover of everything it was chilly, and yet warm and finally the mooners and the Suryans met. If it was any other time it would be a grand celebration for the new moon it would call for new Lunar but this time it's different, nothing new but definitely a change and Jun would make sure of that now that he has been put in charge.

"Remember prince Ha-Jun, you must find the Prince no matter what or else we can't promise the Moon's future" Aurelius spoke as Jun glanced back at the mooners, they had lost in themselves but still held on after loosing their loved ones and their homes in shambles, but the look they gave to Jun was assuring and he felt the need not to disappoint them, their pained faces will be tattooed in his memory to keep him working harder.

"I promise to bring the Prince back, don't give up the moon will be restored" is the promise he gave before a bright shine beamed from the portals and the end of the eclipse he was already gone everything back to normal a new beginning....

MOONER'S POV

"And General Won_Sik will be leading the mooners till the prince will be back" the elders had made sure to leave their informant to take care matters of the palace and immediately disappeared leaving no room for argument.

The general had an ugly scar adorning half of his face making the kids to run away from him immediately a clear rejection while the adult mooners looked unhappy about it.

"He's a Won not a Dal..."

"A general, really?"

General Won Sik went on blabbering on about how he would be a good leader which apparently no one was listening to, and since when was the general changed?? Everyone had a lot of questions but no one really to answer them.

"At least we know Prince is not dead, we should hope onto him he will came back to us, and guide us to pure light" one of the mooners was so assured and that's all everyone needed to hear, and that had been decided everyone had to go back and start life a new and wait for the Prince's arrival.
