A Little Surprise
Jessica: alright the first part of the plan is completed the second part.... let's go kill some rats
Simon: kill some what? is this some kind of a game to you?
Alucard: well to me it is
Markus: same here
Simon: thanks god this is all what i really needed, some kids who don't even realize that this planet will be destroyed! perfect!
Alucard: no we do realize but from who? zombies, demons? they are dying easily
Simon: that's because they are the weakest of the weakest and what you saw on the news doesn't even come close to 5% of their true power! how do i know? well i don't, but i strongly believe they are the weakest because ain't no way they couldn't kill a mere mortal holding a sword and a shield! and take a look at this dead demon's head it has got a symbol of something on it, i don't know what it means but all i know it is referring to some kind of rankings because the normal demons have a small symbol on their legs and the laser shooting ones have a different one on the back of their heads just like this one *kicks the demon's head*
Alucard: so that means there is an army that contains a large amount of demons with different abilities?
Simon: exactly but again it's just a small theory that is more likely to exist
Isabel: wow you are smart as well
Simon: what do you mean with "as well" ?
Isabel: nothing don't worry about it
Simon: weirdo.... wait a second...
Alucard: okay let's continue saving people from these creatures shall we?
Lesley: sounds like a great idea let's go
Simon: yeah that's a good one....
Simon started looking at Jessica for 3 seconds and then they started searching for any survivors they could save... while they were walking a man was running in fear and with tears on his face asking for help...
???: please help me and my family! please!
Jessica: alright sure just calm down where are they?
???: right there hurry up! please!
Alucard: i won't repeat the same mistake!
everyone started running to help the man's family but Simon was suspecting him to be a traitor or something else... when they arrived they saw 5 normal demons waiting for them
???: oh no we are late!
Simon whispering to Alucard: prepare your gun because it's a trap don't worry i will cover you with my shield
the strange man noticed them whispering and yelled something we don't understand, suddenly the man turned into a demon with a strong body and a different symbol on his chest turns out what Simon thought of was true the man was a shape-shifting demon!
Simon: i knew it! now Alucard!
Alucard used his gun and aimed it at the other demons and fired his gun killing them all in just 3 seconds! that made the shape shifting demon angry and confused...
Simon: everyone fall back!
the demon aimed his left hand at Alucard and started shooting laser out of it! but Simon blocked it with his shield and then Alucard launched an attack on the demon with his gun to their surprise the demon blocked it with another shield attached to his chest! Simon removed the shield from his left arm and put it on the ground, he used his sword to strike the shield and then jumped right before the shield gives the shock-wave so he will be able to jump higher, he struck the demon's shield with all his force, disabling it and giving them both a small shock-wave pushing them away from each other, Simon picked up the shield he had removed and activated it, but the demon became furious and started flying at a small altitude! just 2 stories above the ground and shooting laser out of his second hand and his head started shaking, his eyes started glowing red and then two thin laser beams came out of his eyes! with a menace creepy smile! Simon used the shield to block the attack, but... the shield seemed to weaken from the excessive pressure! the shield will soon be disabled! the demon opened a third eye to look for Alucard but he couldn't find him and started laughing thinking Alucard left Simon behind...
Alucard: BEHIND YOU BASTARD!
the demon got blasted by the laser Alucard was shooting severely damaging his body, throwing him into a building and knocking him to the ground, and then without wasting a second Simon sliced both of his arms and legs popping his eyes off and started torturing the demon until he killed him by cutting his head off
Alucard: nice work... i fooled him though ha ha ha
Simon: yeah you did ha ha ha ha, thanks man
Alucard: no problem
Lesley: oh my god boys are you alright??
Alucard: yeah we are fine
Isabel: that was awesome!
Jessica: damn! that's a lot better than the video games!
Isabel: heck yeah it was!
Markus: but how did you know he was a demon? you yelled "i knew it! now Alucard!" so what did you think of? and what did you tell Alcuard?
Simon: well basically if you were a father and unfortunately your apartment is on fire, are you going to leave your wife and kids alone in the fire to go ask for help? and this is worse than fire they are literally demons they can kill 100 humans in less than 2 minutes if he wasn't a traitor or a demon disguised as a human he would have been dead, and i told Alucard to get ready it might be a trap
Markus: wow you are very intelligent!
Simon: thanks man, guys take a look at this he has got another symbol but it's on his chest and it's different than the other symbols, this symbol is a glowing red circle with 4 lines forming an X... i believe its a ranking for the power or the type of troop, i don't know but from my gaming and movies experience i believe it's a ranking in the demons army
Alucard: on his hand there is one but it's a triangle unlike the one on his chest...
Simon: weird...
Markus: am i tripping? or the ground is shaking a little...
then they heard growls coming from behind, they all turned their heads in slow motion to find not one but two large muscular zombies larger than gorillas heading towards them! Markus started shooting them in the head with his pistol it was the Desert Eagle, but it didn't hurt them... or showed any signs of harm he was like shooting a house...
Markus: alright that is a fricking desert eagle! and it didn't hurt them??
Alucard: don't worry i got this.... and why is the gun not shooting? oh no.....
Simon: what? oh.. don't tell me...
Alucard: the gun needs some time to recharge....
Simon: i said don't tell me.... great I'm supposed to fight these zombies who are using their arms and legs to move wow... GOD! i hate this life!
then Simon activated his sword and started charging at the zombies, the first zombie swung his large arm almost hitting him but Simon dived into prone mode and cut the legs of the zombie and then activated his shield to block the second swing of the first zombie expecting he would block it without moving an inch, well... he was sent flying in the air at a small altitude... thankfully he had fast reflexes and used the shield before landing to reduce the fall damage, when he landed he saw both zombies charging at him from two sides he made a genius move he made a back flip at the very last moment so the zombies would smash into each other and they did, he took advantage of the opportunity and sliced their heads off killing them both
Simon to himself: well i could have done that from the beginning but... nope i couldn't and i believe i have a injured myself from that fall well a little bit ... great!
everyone: good job!
Simon: thanks... god... can anyone give me some water?
Jessica: yes.... there you go
Simon: thanks.... whoa that's better anyways what time is it?
Jessica: well it's... wow it's 1:28!
Simon: alright we are taking a little break from all this and after 30 minutes or so we will continue
after that they all sat down to rest and chill, Alucard sat next to Simon as well as Markus to chat a little Simon saw Jessica laughing and making jokes like nothing ever happened!
Simon: how is she like that?? she is cracking jokes and laughing like nothing happened like she doesn't care if the world is being torn apart!
Alucard: yeah i know that, me and Markus have known her for like... 3 years now, the first time we met her she was tough like you can't even talk to her or look at her straight in the eye for 2 seconds only 1 week after knowing her or so, she will act like this in front of you and even talk to you or hangout, she is weird, and positive all the time
Simon: no shit
Alucard: and the closest friend to her is Lesley she has known her for 7 years
Simon: wow how old are you guys?
Alucard: 19
Markus: 19
Simon: twins?
Alucard: no friends, but I'm older than him
Markus: two months
Alucard: old enough for you to respect me
Markus: hell no...
Alucard: anyways what about you Simon?
Simon: I'm 20 and how do you know my name? and how do you know i have met Jessica before Alucard?
Alucard: shit... well i guessed it....
Simon: she told you about me didn't she... did she describe me or how i look?
Alucard: no...
Simon: yes... and i believe she said I'm rude and disgusting right? and don't you dare lie to me again!
Alucard: no she said you are handsome, strong and brave...
Simon: okay... what??
Markus: guys... take a look at this....
Alucard: ISABEL! come here quickly!
they all rushed to see what's on Markus tablet... California, the south of Oregon and the left half of Nevada have fallen to the demons and there are some horrifying videos of the demons and monsters destroying buildings like it's nothing and showing new types of demons and worse... the group realized they are trapped in the north and what they have killed are nothing but rats compared to what was shown in the video including the shape shifting demon who almost killed Simon!
Simon: what do we do now?
Alucard: don't ask me you are the one who leads
Simon: well all i know is... we are all going to die so it doesn't matter if we try to hide or not we will not survive so we will fight and try to steal any kind of weapons that can help us and look for supplies i don't know... what am i saying?
Jessica: we will fight until our last breath! and we will try to help anyone and everyone! if there is any left... and try to escape this hell even though we are surrounded by monsters and demons and don't ask me how but all i know is god will help us... so stop being negative and stand up you are still breathing, you can do something that could maybe change everything! as long as we are together nothing will stop us! hopefully... so what is your decision?
everyone: fight!
Simon: that's the only choice we have left... okay
Jessica nods her head and says "then what are we waiting for let's go!"
