Chapter 3

The air between them crackled with tension.

Sienna's breath hitched as Dorian's hand slid down her spine, his grip firm yet teasing. His body was pressed flush against hers, radiating heat, his scent intoxicating—smoky cedar and something darkly alluring. He was testing her, testing Kade, and from the growl vibrating through the air, Kade wasn't amused.

Kade's silver eyes burned with fury. His wolf was close—too close.

"You're playing a dangerous game, Dorian," Kade growled.

Dorian chuckled, his lips grazing the shell of Sienna's ear. "I only play games when the prize is worth it."

Sienna shivered.

She knew she should push away—reject them both—but her body betrayed her. Heat pooled low in her stomach, her skin tingling with the anticipation thrumming between them.

Kade moved.

In a flash, he ripped her from Dorian's grasp, spinning her into his arms. Before she could react, he crushed his lips to hers.

It wasn't a kiss. It was a claim.

A punishing, bruising demand.

His teeth scraped her lower lip, and when she gasped, he took advantage, his tongue sweeping into her mouth, devouring her. His hands fisted in her hair, angling her head, deepening the kiss until she was drowning in him.

Heat. Dominance. Possession.

He kissed like he owned her. Like he would ruin anyone who dared touch what was his.

But just as quickly as he claimed her, he tore away, chest heaving, eyes burning.

"She's mine," he snarled at Dorian.

Dorian, unbothered, simply smirked. "She didn't push me away."

Kade's jaw ticked.

Sienna barely had time to catch her breath before Dorian took his turn.

His approach was slower, deliberate. He tilted her chin up, eyes dark with something unreadable. "You're trembling," he murmured. "Is it fear… or desire?"

Sienna swallowed hard.

Then he kissed her.

Unlike Kade's violent possession, Dorian's kiss was seductive, teasing, as if he had all the time in the world to unravel her. His lips brushed over hers, coaxing, demanding surrender without force. His tongue swept against hers in a lazy, devastating rhythm that sent molten heat straight to her core.

Her fingers fisted in his shirt, a whimper escaping her before she could stop it.

Dorian chuckled against her lips. "I think she likes this game, Kade."

Kade was on her in an instant.

His hands ripped her from Dorian, spinning her, his grip bruising. "Enough."

His pupils were blown wide, his control razor-thin.

Sienna's pulse raced.

"You think you can tempt me?" Kade's voice was dark, dangerous. "Push me?"

His fingers traced her jaw before gripping it, forcing her to meet his gaze.

His lips hovered just over hers.

"Then you should know, little one," he whispered, "I don't share."

And then the world shattered into heat, possession, and the brutal claiming of an Alpha who refused to be denied.
