MAIN STORY:
Aashutosh and Surya continued to spend their days together, lost in their own little world. But as the week drew to a close, they knew they had to return home.
As they made their way back, Surya's phone rang, shrill in the silence. He answered, his expression changing from calm to concerned as he listened to Jenna's frantic voice.
"Surya, I have terrible news," Jenna said, her voice trembling. "Your father's bodyguards and Nikolas's servants, they...they beat up Pratap Singh. He's in the hospital, Surya. His condition is critical."
Surya's eyes widened in horror as he listened, his mind racing with questions. "Why, Jenna? Why did they do this?" he demanded.
Jenna's voice was laced with fear. "Rana Pratap, your father, he knows about your relationship with Aashutosh. That's why they beat up Pratap Singh."
Surya's face paled, his heart racing with fear. "What do you mean? Why did they beat him up?" he asked, his voice shaking.
Jenna's words sent a chill down Surya's spine. "I don't know, Surya, but I do know that you and Aashutosh should stay away from the palace. Your father, he...he wants to hurt Aashutosh."
Surya's eyes met Aashutosh's, his expression filled with worry. Aashutosh's eyes sparkled with concern as he asked, "What's wrong, Surya? You look like you've seen a ghost."
Surya's voice was barely above a whisper as he spoke, his words laced with emotion. "Aashu, if we ever get separated, no matter what happens, you'll always be with me, in my heart. And I'll always be with you, no matter what."
Aashutosh's eyes widened in surprise, his voice filled with concern. "Surya, what's going on? Why are you talking like this?"
Surya's eyes clouded with pain as he spoke, his voice cracking with emotion. "I lied to you, Aashu. My father, he's not what you think he is. He's evil, Aashu. He's always known about my preferences, and he's always hurt anyone I've ever loved."
Aashutosh's eyes sparkled with confusion, his voice filled with concern. "What are you trying to say, Surya? You're scaring me."
Surya's voice was laced with desperation. "Aashu, we're in trouble. My father knows about us, and we have to get out of here, now."
Aashutosh's eyes widened in fear, his voice trembling. "Where will we go, Surya? What will we do?"
Surya's face was set in determination, his eyes burning with resolve. "I don't know, Aashu, but we have to leave, now. And we have to leave our phones behind. We can't let anyone track us."
Aashutosh nodded, his eyes filled with trust, his voice barely above a whisper. "Okay, Surya. I trust you."
Surya said, his voice laced with concern, "But if we run away, they'll kill Pratap." Aashutosh's eyes widened in alarm, his voice filled with determination. "I'll never let that happen, Surya. My elder brother is already in trouble because of us. There's someone waiting for him, someone who cares about him."
Surya's curiosity was piqued, his voice filled with surprise. "Who is it, Aashu?" Aashutosh's expression turned serious, his voice barely above a whisper. "His wife, Surya. Pratap is married. He kept it a secret from Nikolas because he married the daughter of Nikolas's enemy."
Surya's eyes widened in shock, his voice filled with incredulity. "What? That's impossible!" Aashutosh nodded, his expression solemn. "It's true, Surya. Pratap's been married for three weeks now."
Surya's mind was racing with questions, his voice filled with urgency. "Where is she? Where is his wife?" Aashutosh's expression turned gentle, his voice filled with emotion. "She's in England, Surya. Her name is Radhika."
Surya's eyes sparkled with surprise, his mind reeling with the implications. He couldn't believe that Pratap was married, and that his wife was waiting for him in England. The revelation added a new layer of complexity to their situation, and Surya knew that they had to act fast to protect Pratap and his wife.
Ruby stopped Aashutosh, her voice filled with curiosity. "But Uncle, how did you know about Father's first marriage?" Aashutosh's expression turned nostalgic, his voice filled with emotion. "When I had suspected Surya and Pratap, Pratap told me that he was getting married soon. That's how I knew, and I even attended their wedding."
Ava urged him to continue, her voice filled with anticipation. "What happened next, Sir?" Aashutosh's eyes clouded with pain, his voice cracking with emotion. "What happened next was a curse that changed my life forever."
Ava's eyes sparkled with concern, her voice filled with empathy. "What do you mean?" Aashutosh took a deep breath, his voice filled with determination, as he continued his story.
Surya said, his voice filled with conviction, "Aashu, I'll get Pratap out of this situation and send him to England. You need to hide until everything settles down. I'll come back to you once it's safe." Aashutosh's eyes widened in alarm, his voice filled with concern. "But I can't leave you and Pratap in this situation."
Surya's expression turned reassuring, his voice filled with calm. "Aashu, the danger is not to me, but to you. Don't worry about me, I'll be fine." Aashutosh's voice trembled with fear, "But..." Surya interrupted him, his voice filled with determination. "Aashu, trust me, I'll come back to you. I promise."
Aashutosh's eyes searched Surya's face, his voice barely above a whisper. "Promise?" Surya nodded, his eyes locked on Aashutosh's. "I promise, okay?" Aashutosh nodded, his expression filled with a mix of fear and trust.
Surya continued, his voice filled with urgency. "Now, go, I'll talk to the doctor. He said he'd help us whenever we need it. I think he'll send you to a safe place." Aashutosh's eyes filled with tears, his voice cracking with emotion. "Surya, please come back to me. I'm nothing without you."
Surya's expression turned gentle, his voice filled with reassurance. "I'll come back to you, Aashu. Don't worry." Aashutosh nodded, his eyes still filled with tears, his voice barely above a whisper. "Okay."
Surya stepped out of the car and handed the keys to Aashutosh. "Aashu, you take the car and head straight to the bus stand. There, you'll meet a man named Jackeb. He'll give you a new phone and an ATM card. The passcode for the ATM will be in your phone. Take the 6 o'clock bus to New Delhi and stay there for a few days. Once I've sent Pratap to England, I'll join you."
Aashutosh looked concerned, his voice trembling. "But where will I stay in Delhi?" Surya's expression turned reassuring, his voice filled with calm. "You'll stay at Dr. Prakash's private bungalow in Delhi. No one goes there, so you'll be safe. I've already spoken to Prakash, and he's arranged for a driver named Akash to pick you up from the bus stand. All the details, including the names and numbers of the people you'll meet, will be in your new phone."
Aashutosh's eyes welled up with tears, his voice cracking with emotion. "I'm scared, Surya." Surya pulled Aashutosh into a tight hug, his voice filled with conviction. "No matter what happens, I'll always be with you. You have the right to my life, and I'll always love you."
Aashutosh broke down in tears, and Surya wiped away his own tears, his voice filled with sadness. "It's time for us to part, Aashu. Bye. I'll see you soon." Aashutosh kissed Surya, then got into the car and started the engine. He looked back at Surya one last time before driving away.
Surya watched as Aashutosh's car disappeared into the distance, his heart filled with hope that Aashutosh would stay safe, no matter where he went.
