MAIN STORY:

As Surya arrived at the hospital, he was met with a shocking revelation. His father, Rana Pratap, had orchestrated a devious plan to keep him from Aashutosh. The hospital staff seemed to be in on the ruse, and Surya's anger boiled over as he realized he was trapped.

With a fierce determination, Surya attempted to escape the hospital, but Rana Pratap and Nikolas were hot on his heels. They apprehended him just as he was about to break free.

Surya's eyes blazed with defiance as he confronted his father. "This time, I won't let you take away my love," he declared, his voice trembling with emotion. "I've found my soulmate in Aashu, and I won't let you destroy our happiness."

Rana Pratap sneered, his face twisted with malice. "You'll do as I say, Surya. And as for Aashutosh Singh, I'll make sure he's erased from the face of this earth."

Surya's heart sank, but he refused to back down. "You can't do that, Father. Aashu is innocent."

Nikolas chimed in, his voice dripping with venom. "Your Highness, I agree with Rana Pratap. We can't allow a gay relationship to tarnish our family's reputation."

Surya's anger flared anew. "What's wrong with being gay? Aashu and I are happy together, and that's all that matters."

Rana Pratap's expression turned cold. "Our family's reputation is at stake, Surya. And besides, you're our only son. If you marry a man, our lineage will end."

Surya felt a wave of disgust wash over him. "So, my happiness means nothing to you? Your family's reputation is more important than my well-being?"

Nikolas's voice was laced with menace. "We'll do whatever it takes to protect our family's interests, Surya. Even if it means harming Aashutosh."

Surya's eyes widened in horror as he realized the true extent of his father's cruelty. And then, Jenna appeared, her presence a stark reminder of the arranged marriage that awaited him.

Surya's heart went out to Jenna, who seemed oblivious to the danger lurking beneath the surface. "Jenna, do you know what's going on? They're pressuring you into this marriage, aren't they?"

Jenna's smile faltered, and for a moment, Surya saw a glimmer of uncertainty in her eyes. But then, she spoke, her words dripping with a sweetness that made Surya's heart ache.

"Surya, I care for you deeply, and I want to make you happy. When I found out about your relationship with Aashutosh, I thought I could be happy for you, but then your father explained the consequences of your actions. I want to protect you, Surya."

Surya's eyes locked onto Jenna's, and he saw the genuine concern there. But he knew he couldn't give in to his father's demands. Not now, not ever.

"I appreciate your concern, Jenna, but I won't marry you. I love Aashu, and I'll fight for our right to be together."

Rana Pratap's face turned red with rage. "You fool, Surya! You'll regret this decision. And as for Aashutosh, he'll pay for your defiance."

Surya's heart skipped a beat as his father dropped a bombshell. "The man you sent to the bus stand, Jackeb, is one of our hired goons. With one call, he'll make sure Aashutosh disappears forever."

Surya's world came crashing down around him. He was trapped, with no way out. The realization dawned on him like a cold, harsh light: he had to play along, at least for now, to protect Aashu.

With a heavy heart, Surya surrendered to his father's demands, his mind racing with thoughts of escape, of rebellion, of finding a way to be with Aashu, no matter the cost.

As Surya snapped back to the present, he found himself behind the wheel of the car, speeding towards Taj Palace with Aashutosh by his side. He brought the car to a sudden halt, his eyes locking onto Aashutosh's.

"Aashu, no matter what happens next, remember one thing," Surya said, his voice trembling with emotion. "I love you more than anything in this world. We may be separated, but our love will never fade. We don't need physical bodies to love each other; our souls are intertwined."

Aashutosh's eyes welled up with tears as Surya continued, "Whenever someone speaks of TALES OF TAJ, they'll remember our love story first. TALES OF TAJ is synonymous with TALES OF LOVE."

Aashutosh's voice cracked as he spoke, "Surya, even if we're apart today, I promise you that I'll be with you until my dying breath. Will you promise me the same?"

Surya's face contorted in a mix of sadness and determination. "Aashu, I'll come for you first. I want to make sure you go before me."

Aashutosh's eyes narrowed, a hint of a smile on his lips. "Why do you always say that, Surya?"

Surya's expression turned wistful. "I don't know, but it's just something I feel deeply."

Aashutosh's gaze lingered on Surya's face before he nodded. "Let's not think about that now. We need to get to Taj Palace quickly."

Surya's eyes snapped back into focus, and he put the car in gear, speeding towards their destiny. As they drove, the air was thick with unspoken emotions, their love hanging precariously in the balance.

In that moment, Surya knew that no matter what lay ahead, their love would endure, a flame that would burn bright even in the darkest of times.

As Surya drove, his mind wandered back to the fateful day when Doctor Prakash's call had shaken him to his core. "Aashu's been in an accident, and his condition is critical," the doctor's words still echoed in his mind, sending a chill down his spine.

Surya's heart had racing as he sprinted out of the palace, desperate to reach Aashu's side. But his escape was thwarted when he found the main gate locked. Panic set in as he rushed to Rana Pratap's chambers, pleading with his father to let him leave.

"Father, why have you locked me in? I promised I wouldn't run away, but please, just this once, let me go. Aashutosh is hurt, and I need to see him," Surya begged, his voice cracking with emotion.

But Rana Pratap's expression remained unmoved, his voice cold and detached. "Whether that boy lives or dies, it's of no consequence to me. You're not going anywhere, Surya."

Surya's anger boiled over, his words laced with a venomous warning. "Mark my words, Your Highness, if anything happens to Aashu, I'll make sure your precious royal reputation is left in tatters."

Rana Pratap's smirk only fueled Surya's desperation, and for two agonizing days, Surya's pleas fell on deaf ears. Then, Doctor Prakash's call came again, his voice laced with urgency.

"Surya, Aashu's been moved to the ICU. Please come quickly; his will to live is fading."

Surya's world went dark as he cut the call, his mind racing with a singular focus. He knew what he had to do. With a newfound determination, Surya rushed to Rana Pratap's chambers, falling at his father's feet, and begging for mercy.

"Please, Father, let me go to Aashu. I promise I'll return. I'll do anything, just please..."

Rana Pratap's expression softened, his eyes witnessing his son's desperation. He nodded, his voice low and measured.

"Very well, Surya. You may go to Delhi, but remember, when you meet Aashutosh, you'll return to Mansoori Taj Palace. That's the condition."

Surya's heart leapt with gratitude, his mind numb to everything except the overwhelming need to be with Aashutosh. He agreed, his freedom, his everything, secondary to the imperative of being by Aashu's side.

As he drove away from the palace, Surya felt a sense of relief wash over him. He was finally going to be with Aashu, no matter what the cost. Little did he know that this was just the beginning of a perilous journey, one that would test his love, his courage, and his resolve.

To be continue....
