MAIN STORY:
As they frantically searched for Jenna's car, Aashutosh and Surya's anxiety grew with each passing moment. Just as they were starting to lose hope, Aashutosh's phone rang, shrill and insistent. He quickly answered, his voice laced with a mix of worry and expectation. On the other end was Johnathan, his voice calm and reassuring. "Aashutosh, Jenna has arrived at the concert venue with the children," he said, his words a welcome relief to Aashutosh's frazzled nerves.
Aashutosh let out a sigh of relief, his shoulders sagging in gratitude. "Thank God," he muttered, his voice barely above a whisper. But his relief was short-lived, as Johnathan's next words sent a shiver down his spine. "However, I think there's something off, Aashutosh. There are only four children with Jenna, but I could have sworn there were five."
Aashutosh's heart skipped a beat as he processed Johnathan's words. He knew that Ruby was missing, and now it seemed that she was nowhere to be found. "What do you mean?" he asked, his voice laced with a growing sense of unease. Johnathan's response only added to his worry. "I mean, I could have sworn there were five children, but now there's only four. One of them is missing."
Aashutosh's mind was racing with terrible possibilities. He knew that he had to find Ruby, and fast. He quickly relayed the information to Surya, his voice urgent. "Surya, we have to go to the concert venue. Jenna is there, but Ruby is still missing." Surya's face was etched with worry as he nodded in agreement. "Let's go," he said, his voice firm.
Meanwhile, Pratap was hot on Nikolas's heels, determined to find Ruby. He had been following Nikolas's car for what felt like hours, his eyes fixed on the sleek black vehicle. He knew that Nikolas was hiding something, and he was determined to find out what it was. As he followed Nikolas's car, he noticed that it was heading towards the concert venue. He quickly called Aashutosh, his voice urgent. "Aashu, I think Nikolas has Ruby. His car is heading towards the concert venue."
Aashutosh's response was immediate. "Pratap, we're on our way to the concert venue. Be careful, and don't let Nikolas out of your sight." Pratap nodded, his eyes fixed on Nikolas's car. He knew that he had to be careful, but he was determined to find Ruby.
As Aashutosh and Surya arrived at the concert venue, they quickly spotted Nikolas's car. But what they saw next made their blood run cold. A truck, its movements erratic, was careening down the road, heading straight for them. Aashutosh's eyes widened in alarm as he realized that the truck was the same one that Pratap had told him about. "Surya, look! It's the truck Pratap was talking about," he exclaimed, his voice laced with fear.
Surya's face was etched with worry as he quickly pulled over. "Let's get out of here," he said, his voice firm. But Aashutosh was already out of the car, his eyes fixed on the truck. He knew that Ruby was inside, and he was determined to save her.
As they approached the truck, they could see that the driver was slumped over the wheel, unconscious. Aashutosh's eyes widened in alarm as he realized that the driver had been drinking. "Surya, look! The driver is drunk," he exclaimed, his voice laced with fear.
Surya's face was etched with worry as he quickly opened the door. "Let's get Ruby out of here," he said, his voice firm. But as they searched the truck, they couldn't find Ruby anywhere. Aashutosh's heart sank as he realized that Nikolas must have hidden her somewhere else.
Just then, Nikolas's another car sped past them, heading towards the concert venue. Aashutosh's eyes narrowed in anger as he realized that Nikolas was trying to escape. "Surya, we have to stop him," he exclaimed, his voice laced with determination.
Surya's face was etched with worry as he nodded in agreement. "Let's go," he said, his voice firm. Together, they set off in pursuit of Nikolas, determined to save Ruby and uncover the truth. But as they sped down the road, they couldn't shake off the feeling that they were running out of time.
As Pratap's car pulled up to the concert venue, he and Radhika quickly got out, their eyes scanning the scene before them. They spotted Aashutosh and Surya standing near a truck, their faces etched with worry. Pratap rushed over to them, his heart racing with anticipation. "Aashu, did you find Ruby in the truck?" he asked, his voice laced with hope.
Aashutosh shook his head, his expression grim. "No, brother, we searched the entire truck, but Ruby was nowhere to be found." Pratap's face fell, his eyes narrowing in frustration. "You didn't search properly," he accused, his voice rising in anger.
Without waiting for a response, Pratap began to frantically search the truck, his eyes scanning every inch of the vehicle. But no matter where he looked, he couldn't find any sign of Ruby. His anger and frustration boiled over, and he began to violently shake the truck driver, who was still slumped over the wheel, unconscious. "Where is she?" Pratap demanded, his voice hoarse with emotion. "What have you done with Ruby?"
Aashutosh rushed over to intervene, grabbing Pratap's arm and pulling him away from the truck driver. "Pratap, stop! This isn't going to help us find Ruby," he said, his voice calm and rational. Pratap's chest heaved with exertion, his eyes blazing with anger. But as he looked at Aashutosh, he slowly began to regain control of his emotions.
Aashutosh continued, "We need to think this through, Pratap. We need to talk to Dad and find out what he knows about Ruby's disappearance." Pratap's expression slowly changed from anger to determination. "You're right," he said, his voice firm. "Let's go."
Together, the group made their way into the concert venue, their hearts heavy with worry and their minds racing with questions. What had happened to Ruby? Where was she? And what did Nikolas have to do with her disappearance? They were determined to find out, no matter what it took. As they entered the venue, the sound of music and laughter enveloped them, but they were unmoved. Their only concern was finding Ruby and uncovering the truth.
As Jenna stood before Ava and Dwan, her eyes gleamed with a sinister intensity that made Ava's blood run cold. With a swift motion, Jenna bound Rajesh and Suresh, rendering them helpless. Ava's eyes widened in horror as she watched her mother's transformation into a ruthless and calculating individual.
Jenna's voice was laced with a menacing tone as she warned, "If any of you make a sound or try to escape, you'll regret it. I'm capable of doing things you can't even imagine." Ava's heart racing, she watched as her mother gagged Rajesh and Suresh, silencing them.
Just then, Jenna dragged Ruby into the room, accompanied by a stranger. Ruby's limp body and vacant expression sent a chill down Ava's spine. As Ruby was dumped onto the floor, Ava's instincts kicked in, and she began to struggle against her restraints, desperate to reach her friend.
But Jenna's voice cut through the air, cold and menacing. "Ava, if you make another move, I'll kill Ruby. Do you understand?" Ava's eyes locked onto her mother's, and for a moment, she saw a glimmer of the woman she once knew. But it was quickly replaced by a calculating gaze that made Ava's blood run cold.
Dwan, too, was paralyzed with fear, her eyes fixed on Jenna's twisted expression. Suresh and Rajesh lay motionless, victims of Jenna's cunning plan. Ava's mind reeled as she tried to comprehend her mother's actions. What had driven her to this point? And what did she plan to do with them?
As Jenna dragged Ruby away, binding her in a separate area, Ava felt a wave of despair wash over her. She was trapped, helpless to save her sister, friend or herself. The sound of Jenna's laughter echoed through the room, sending shivers down Ava's spine.
With a final glance at her captives, Jenna swept out of the room, leaving Ava, Dwan, Rajesh, and Suresh to their fate. The silence was oppressive, punctuated only by the sound of Jenna's distant voice, preparing to take the stage. Ava's heart sank, realizing that her mother's performance was only a ruse, a distraction from the sinister plans she had set in motion.
To be continue....
