Strength of VASCO

Wei had faced many fighters in his life calculated strikers, relentless grapplers, cold-blooded killers. But Vasco?

Vasco was something else.

"Come on, man! Let's spar!" Vasco said, grinning like a kid who had just found a new toy. His arm was still slung around Wei's shoulder like they were old friends.

Wei studied him. Massive build. Thick muscles. No wasted movement. Vasco might have been loud and friendly, but his body told a different story.

This guy was a natural-born fighter.

Wei sighed, brushing Vasco's arm off his shoulder. "I don't fight for fun."

Vasco pouted. Actually pouted.

"Aw, come on! You can't just show up, beat some guys, and not fight me!"

Wei glanced around. Students were already watching.

He had been at J High for less than a day, and he had already fought once. Fighting Vasco would just add fuel to the fire.

But at the same time…

He was curious.

"Fine," Wei said. "But not here."

Vasco's face lit up. "Yes! Let's go to the rooftop!"

The Rooftop Showdown

The moment they stepped onto the rooftop, Vasco immediately dropped into a stance.

No hesitation. No unnecessary movement. Pure, raw fighting spirit.

Wei exhaled and took his own stance low, fluid, adaptable.

Vasco grinned. "Ready?"

Before Wei could answer, Vasco charged.

FAST.

For someone his size, Vasco shouldn't be that quick. But he closed the distance in an instant, throwing a monstrous right hook.

Wei tilted his head, narrowly avoiding the strike. The wind pressure alone ruffled his hair.

Vasco's sheer power was insane. If that landed, Wei wasn't sure even he could walk away easily.

But he wasn't just going to dodge.

Wei countered.

A precise boxer's jab sharp, fast, aimed right for Vasco's chin.

THUD.

It landed.

But Vasco… didn't move.

Wei narrowed his eyes. Vasco grinned. "That was good! My turn!"

Before Wei could react, Vasco's leg came up a devastating Muay Thai-style knee.

Wei barely twisted out of the way, but Vasco was relentless.

Punches. Kicks. Elbows. Each one carrying ridiculous force.

Wei could dodge, counter, weave through the storm but Vasco never slowed down.

It wasn't just power.

It was endurance.

Most fighters hesitated, got tired, broke their rhythm. Vasco? He fought like he could go all day.

And for the first time since coming to J High, Wei felt excited.

This school… really was different.
