Teshii's Suspicion
The safehouse was unusually quiet as the Elements gathered around Teshii, waiting for an explanation.
Teshii leaned against the table, arms crossed, his usual smirk nowhere in sight.
"I don't trust Sora," he finally said.
Hikaru frowned. "Yeah, you've said that before. But why?"
Teshii sighed. "Two reasons."
He held up one finger.
"First—how does Sora know about the Order of the Elements?"
The room fell silent.
Moriya furrowed his brow. "That… is a good question."
Teshii raised a second finger.
"Second—why didn't he use the Element of Air in the fight?"
Hikaru's stomach twisted.
Now that he thought about it… that was weird.
Ikazuchi crossed his arms. "You think he's lying?"
Teshii's eyes narrowed. "I think he's hiding something."
Reito exhaled. "Then we confront him."
Hikaru nodded. "Yeah. Let's go get some answers."
Confronting Sora
They found Sora near the edge of campus, standing under a large oak tree.
He greeted them with his usual calm smirk.
"Well, well," he said. "To what do I owe the pleasure?"
Teshii didn't waste time.
"You say you're the Element of Air," he said. "Then prove it."
Sora tilted his head. "Oh? You don't believe me?"
Hikaru stepped forward. "We just want to confirm something."
Sora's smirk didn't fade. "Alright. Ask away."
Hikaru crossed his arms. "If you know about the Order of the Elements, then tell me—which Elements do we have?"
Sora chuckled. "That's easy."
He gestured toward Hikaru.
"Hikaru is Light."
Then to Haruto.
"Haruto is Water."
Then Moriya.
"Moriya is Wood."
Then Ikazuchi.
"Ikazuchi is Thunder."
Then Reito.
"Reito is Ice."
Then Daichi.
"Daichi is Earth."
The group exchanged glances.
So far, everything was correct.
Hikaru's shoulders relaxed slightly. Maybe—
Then—Sora turned to Teshii.
"And Teshii is Fire."
Silence.
A long, tense silence.
Hikaru's eyes widened.
Moriya's expression darkened.
Reito and Ikazuchi exchanged sharp glances.
Teshii?
Teshii smirked.
And slowly clapped.
"Not bad," he said. "But here's the thing—"
His eyes flashed dangerously.
"I don't have an Element."
Sora's smirk faded.
The tension in the air shifted.
Haruto stepped forward. "You messed up."
Moriya's voice was low. "Who are you?"
Sora exhaled sharply.
Then—
His entire body shifted.
His skin twisted, his hair color melted away, his facial features morphed.
And within seconds—
Sora Arashi was gone.
In his place, a completely different man stood.
A mutant.
His form unstable, his appearance flickering between multiple faces.
His lips curled into a smirk.
"Guess the game's over, huh?"
Hikaru clenched his fists. "Who are you?"
The man grinned.
"They call me Chameleon."
His eyes gleamed with mischief.
"And you guys?"
His grin widened.
"You're screwed."
