The Hunt Continues

The Search Continues

The scavenger hunt was in full swing, with everyone splitting up to find their designated items.

Some were making progress.

Others? Not so much.

Mei's Fossil Hunt

Mei stood at the edge of a rocky excavation site, scanning the ground with determination.

"I know I saw something here before," she muttered.

She crouched down, brushing her fingers over the dusty terrain.

After a few minutes—she spotted something sticking out of the dirt.

Her eyes lit up.

"Aha!"

She pulled out a small, ancient fossil—a perfectly preserved shell.

"Gotcha."

She grinned, placing it safely in her bag.

"One down."

Ikazuchi's Search for a Gem

Ikazuchi wandered through a mountainous area, scanning the rocky cliffs.

"I swear, if Mei sent me on some wild goose chase…"

He grumbled, kicking a small rock.

It tumbled a few feet—then stopped against something shiny.

Ikazuchi blinked.

"…Wait."

He kneeled down and brushed away the dirt, revealing a small, radiant blue gemstone.

A slow grin spread across his face.

"Well, well. Looks like luck's on my side."

He pocketed the gem and smirked.

"Now I just gotta make sure Reito doesn't find out I got mine first."

Sora Gives Up and Gets Hungry

Meanwhile, Sora had completely abandoned the scavenger hunt.

Instead, he stood in front of a food stall, arms crossed.

He sighed. "You know… I could be looking for my item."

Then, he casually handed the vendor some cash.

"But honestly? This looks way better."

The vendor handed him a plate of grilled skewers, and Sora took a bite, instantly satisfied.

"Mmm. Yeah, this was the right choice."

He leaned back, enjoying his meal, completely ignoring the hunt.

Teshii – Now in China

Teshii casually strolled along the Great Wall of China, hands in his pockets.

He glanced at his surroundings, raising an eyebrow.

"...Huh."

A group of tourists walked past, giving him odd looks.

A little kid pointed at him. "Mommy, where did that guy come from?"

Teshii grinned. "I ask myself that every day, kid."

The mother quickly pulled her child away.

Teshii sighed, stretching his arms.

"Alright. Japan, Paris, China. At this rate, I might end up in Antarctica next."

He paused.

Then, he checked his pockets.

"…Still no scavenger hunt item, though."

He shrugged.

"Well, at least the view's nice."

Hikaru and the Handmade Sword

Hikaru wandered through a dense forest, following a dirt path.

Mei's list had mentioned a handmade sword—but where the hell was he supposed to find that?

Then—he saw it.

A small village nestled between the trees, smoke rising from chimneys.

His heart raced.

Maybe someone here makes swords.

Without hesitation, he ran toward the village.

Unaware that something—or someone—was already waiting for him there.
