Chapter 20: The Aftermath

The group emerged from the collapsing Void Nexus, their bodies and minds exhausted but alive. The Eclipse was gone, its shadowy influence erased from the multiverse. But the victory came at a cost. Kael could feel the strain of the Forge's energy within him, its power now intertwined with his very soul.

As they returned to the Celestial Nexus, the Council of Realms greeted them with a mix of relief and solemnity. The Council leader's voice echoed through the chamber. "**You have done what many thought impossible. The multiverse is safe, thanks to your efforts.**"

Kael nodded, his expression grim. "But at what cost? The Forge's energy is a part of me now. I can feel it changing me."

Eryndor's form shimmered as he spoke. "**The Forge's energy is tied to the fabric of reality itself. As the Eternal Guardian, you are now bound to the multiverse in ways you cannot yet understand.**"

Lyra placed a hand on Kael's shoulder, her voice soft but probing. "We'll figure this out together. You're not alone in this."

Aegis's mechanical voice rumbled in agreement. "**We are your allies, Kael. Whatever comes next, we will face it as one.**"

As the group prepared to leave the Celestial Nexus, Kael couldn't shake the feeling that their journey was far from over. The multiverse was safe for now, but the true cost of his power—and his sacrifices—was yet to be revealed.
