chapter 1 : The first meet

"I never thought a forced marriage would lead me here - standing over my husband's greatest secret"

6 months ago .....

at morning

a man in his 20's is getting ready for a function on his room. He's looking at a mirror

"This will do!" He said putting on a black coat over his white shirt. Then he slowly done his hair. He has brown eyes with a black midfade hair. As he was looking at the mirror. Somebody called out his name from the back.

"Edward". A man same age him came inside his room. He has a blonde hair with a taper fade hairstyle and brown eyes same as Edward.

"you ready. it's time to go". he said to Edward.

"yes carl let's go". Edward replied to the blonde.

Then they both left the apartment together and called a taxi. Today is their friend wedding. They were best friends in the college but Edward and carl are in a year below him.

After reaching the hall where getting is gonna take place. They both goes inside and sat on a chairs. After they both settled in the chairs. Carl immediately started checking out the girls who came to attend the wedding.

Some time later...

Edward point of view..

when i was looking at front door. i saw our friend chris came inside with his family. He then greeted his relatives and guest one by one.

Soon after meeting them he spot me and carl are sitting. He then finished talking with them and immediately came running towards us.

"when did you guys get here". He asked us giving me a handshake and a hug

"about 30 Minutes ago". I replied parting ways from his to let carl hug him.

"have you guys had any drinks. Man I'm getting nervous" He said.

"Why? be cool man. it's gonna be alright".

"anyways can i ask you a question guys?". He asked.

"sure!!". we both replied together.

"whose wedding it is?" He asked.

"your,why?" we both replied together again.

"you know that right. Then why are you stealing the show guys. Look eveyone is glaring at both of you. Leave some for me. it's my big day you know". He said.

He's right i can feel the tension. it's like they are gonna eat us whole. it's because of Carl. He's in his best form today.

"should i kick out carl from the hall".

"what? what did i do?". He asked me.

"They are looking at you man!".

"what should i do. it's not my problem that god made me this handsome man you know" He replied.

"anyways i should go and wait for my bride " chris said and left.

After he left we both sit in the chairs.

Some time later..

Chris bride came. Her name is lilly. Everyone in the hall stand up to welcome the bride. She then walked towards chris with her dad beside.

"He's lucky right!.she's beautiful" Carl said.

"yeah very lucky".

But my focus was on another girl. She takes my whole attention towards her. A girl was walking in the back. She's wearing a red dress which fully covers her body. Her hair was very long which covered her whole backside. It's like I'm watching a princess who came from a Disney movies. She takes my breath away.

I was so lost that i didn't hear anything carl was saying.

Then carl hitted on my head to bring me back to reality.

"God She's perfect. She's very perfect to the point I'll gladly give my life for her".

Then i looked at the front. The bride and groom were already exchanging their vows. After that the priest announced them as husband and wife.

Soon after eveyone started cheering for them.

But my focus was on that girl. She was smiling. It's the cutest smile i ever seen. seeing her smile made my heart flatter. it can heal anything.

"so you have a crush now". carl asked.

when I tried to reject it. but that's when when i realised the feelings i got from the first time i saw her.

"No man. I think I'm in love".

I never believe in love at first sight. But now i do.

"wow man. I can't believe it. The great Edward is in love" Carl teased.

when i wa going to greet her. But my way ws blocked by lilly and chris.

"Hey guys". He said

"Hii man" we replied.

"lilly this is my best buddies carl and Edward". he tell her

"Hello". she said and shaked our hands.

"So guys I'll meet you both at the party tonight. Be there on time". He said and left.

when i was talking with them my eyes was on the girl. i saw her leaving at the side door.

After they left. i tried to find her. But she was nowhere to be found.

"let's go to our apartment man" carl sais coming from behind.

"but man i wanted to talk with her".

"it's okay we'll find her in the party tonight". he said

"you're right". and we both left the hall.

In a distance

A two men wearing full black suit was standing

"sir we have eyes on the target". He said to his phone.

"okay. on my command".

Then the man saw edwward and carl leaving the hall.

"Sir we have a problem" he said to his phone

"what the problem". he asked

"There's is someone from the DELUCA is presented here." he replied

"Holyshit. you sure?" The caller asked

"Yes sir. It's him". The men replied

"abort the mission". He said and cut the call
