What if money was power?
What if capital was magical?
What if income was cultivation?
What if a young man decided to destroy this unjust world of inequality and build a better one?
That was exactly what Cæ (Cash) sought to do amid grief, anger, and hatred when he lost everything in an accident. Having come from nothing in the slums, his only goal had been to live a good life. By the age of twenty-two, he had finally managed to pull himself out of poverty with a decent job and romance.
And then he lost everything he had ever built in an accident that left him in a coma for half a year.
The world deprived him of the only person he had truly come to love. The predatory healthcare system burdened him with debt. The corrupt justice system deprived him of justice. The financial system robbed him of everything he owned.
For the second time in his life, Cæ had been left with nothing.
Well, almost nothing.
The accident and the ensuing coma had altered his brain and mind, giving him an extraordinary talent for cultivating and mastering magic. He had been blessed with Acquired Savant Syndrome, a medical condition so rare that there were very few instances of it ever having occurred in history.
It gave him endless potential and remarkable power.
It gave him the power to destroy the world that he hated from the bottom of his heart.
It gave him the power to destroy it and build a better one.
And that was exactly what Cæ set out to do.
The author Lord Streak has incredible work ethic. His prior work Martial Unity is amazing and exciting. You'll likely find a 3 chapter release everyday like has done with Martial Unity. The premise of this novel is in an entirely different direction than his previous novel but I love the ability of Lord Streak to science the shit out off stuff. I hope for a science based magic system. I'm am excited as well for close combat magic battles.
Will obviously read. Lord_Streak! This has a fresh plot anyway.
Been a fan of their earlier work and the concept is refreshing this story is in good hands
Looking forward to seeing how this story unfolds.
This is so epic, I really have high hopes for this story.
Very good!
author lord streak, I got to say, this is a masterpiece. haven't read martial arts unity so this is the first time I'm reading your work and I highly recommend this piece to readers... from the writing quality, lack of grammatical errors, descriptive words and storyline, everything is top notch. your use of magi in the start of everything like magicapital and stuff is so awesome. i really feel for cae and him losing the one person that makes him happy. it is very sad and emotional, please keep on updating author, I'm enjoying this so far
A very original take on the cultivation and magic genre. The concept of mana being linked to value and capital is quite interesting - even if I’m not the biggest fan of it myself. The writing is overall good, with just a few spelling and grammar errors. Overall the story has truly been gripping so far, even though I didn’t really feel attracted to the idea of capital being a central part of the story, it has turned out to be a more entertaining read than I expected. One thing I also have to give the author credit for is that he does his research before writing about different topics, that’s one thing I always enjoyed reading Martial Unity. Very good job so far, keep it up - with more updates if possible ;)
