BTTH-Chapter 21: Healing in the Cave 2

BTTH-Chapter 21: Healing in the Cave 2

Xiao Tian gently unbuttoned the buttons of her inner armor one by one. His fingers occasionally touched Yun Yun's body during the unbuttoning process. He clearly felt that her body tensed up every time he accidentally brushed against her skin.

After unbuttoning the last button, Xiao Tian carefully removed the inner armor from Yun Yun. Her ivory-white skin and curvy upper body were exposed before his eyes. Xiao Tian suddenly lost his composure and quickly shook the unseemly thoughts from his mind. He took a deep breath, spread a piece of clothing on the stone platform, and gently helped Yun Yun lie down on it. "I'm going to start cleaning. Although you took painkillers before, you may still feel a bit of pain."

"Well, thank you for your trouble." Yun Yun's face gradually turned a light pink; her delicate body trembled slightly, and she responded in a calm voice.

Xiao Tian took out a clean cotton cloth from the system space, poured light green liquid used for cleaning wounds on it, and began to cleanse the injury carefully.

While Xiao Tian was tending to her wounds, Yun Yun thought about how she was naked in front of him. Her body tensed, her eyelashes fluttered constantly, and she was far from as calm as her voice suggested.

Yun Yun looked down at Xiao Tian, who was diligently and seriously cleaning her wounds. Although her body was exposed, there was still a hint of gratitude glittering in her eyes.

After cleaning the wound, Xiao Tian raised his head and met Yun Yun's gaze. "Don't worry. It will be fixed soon."

Xiao Tian picked up the last jade bottle and poured out the white powder from it, sprinkling it evenly on the wound. He then took out clean hemostatic cotton cloth again to wrap her wound.

"Okay, you can't wear your clothes anymore; they're all bloody. You can wear mine for now. I can only help you treat your wounds, but you'll have to rely on yourself to remove the seal on your body." A black robe appeared in Xiao Tian's hand. Since Yun Yun's strength was sealed, she couldn't access her storage ring.

He carefully lifted Yun Yun up and let her lean on his shoulder, then helped her put on the robe and tied the belt before gently setting her back down.

"Okay, you're dressed."

Yun Yun, wearing a men's robe, looked more heroic and had a different kind of charm.

"Thank you."

Lying down, Yun Yun smiled at Xiao Tian. She was blushing and incredibly beautiful, radiating a distinct sense of heroism. The juxtaposition of shyness, beauty, and valor was striking. This smile nearly caused Xiao Tian to lose control.

The scene of healing flashed in his mind. Xiao Tian quickly recited the Qingxin Jue: "If the heart is as clear as ice, the sky will not fall; if the changes are still stable, the mind will be relaxed and calm." If he can't control himself, he might be chased by a Dou Huang. He shook his head, deciding to take it slow. At least she has to take the initiative; he wanted this wife. Only children make choices—he wanted both.

He quickly packed up his things and walked out of the cave, feeling that he needed to get away from this place for a while, or else someone might get hurt.

"Are you leaving?" Yun Yun asked in panic as she watched Xiao Tian walk out of the cave.

"No, don't worry. You are the injured person I rescued. I will see this through to the end and won't abandon you here. The entire Warcraft Mountain Range is looking for you. I'll go out and check the situation." Xiao Tian said without looking back, waving his hand.

At the cave entrance, Xiao Tian sensed that there were no magical beasts nearby. He remembered that he hadn't checked in at the cave yet. He had been busy applying medicine and admiring her beauty, without the time to do so.

"System check-in."

[Ding! successfully checked in at Yun Yun's healing cave. Obtained: Realm upgrade to 2 stars, 5 drops of Thunder Liquid.]

Thunder Liquid: Condensed from thunder energy, contains rich thunder energy.

Xiao Tian carefully sensed the energy contained in the Thunder Liquid within the system space. After receiving the system check-in reward, he was now a nine-star Dou Shi, which would help him break through to the Da Dou Shi level.

Xiao Tian continued to sense the surroundings as he looked around the tranquil setting. He caught a big fish and two smaller ones in the pond, cleaned them, burned the internal organs with the Qilin Burning Sky Flame, and stored the fish in the system space. On the way back, he added some medicinal powder and breath-concealing powder to ensure no monsters would come by before turning around and walking back.

"Jiang Feng, you're back!" Seeing Xiao Tian return, Yun Yun's worried heart settled. Her voice was filled with a hint of excitement and joy. She was no longer a Dou Huang powerhouse, but a little girl who couldn't move without Dou Qi. The loss of her dou qi made her feel panicked, insecure, and afraid that Xiao Tian might leave.

"Yes, just hide here for a while. There's no danger around, and I've taken the necessary precautions." Xiao Tian entered and noticed that she looked better; he estimated that she would regain her mobility by tomorrow.

...

In a cave in the Warcraft Mountains.

Xiao Tian turned the grilled fish in his hand and sprinkled seasoning over it. A rich aroma wafted through the cave. Fortunately, the cave was quite deep, and the scent wouldn't escape.

Next to it, a simple stove simmered fish porridge. He cooked the fish broth first, filtering out the bones and meat before adding rice, along with various herbs for nutritional benefits and blood tonics. Xiao Tian prepared this fish porridge for Yun Yun.

Lying on the side, Yun Yun tilted her head, staring at Xiao Tian as he cooked seriously. A strange emotion flickered in her eyes from time to time; no one could tell what she was thinking.

Xiao Tian poured the stewed fish porridge into a bowl and set it aside to cool naturally.

When the fish was ready, he placed it away from the fire, ensuring it stayed warm.

Approaching the fish porridge, he touched the bowl to gauge the heat. The temperature was just right—not too hot or scalding. He brought the bowl to Yun Yun. "This fish porridge is for you. I added some medicinal herbs; it's good for your body and can speed up your recovery. Do you want to drink it yourself, or would you like me to help you?" Yun Yun struggled to sit up but couldn't manage it. Suddenly, she felt her upper body embraced and lifted by a strong arm, leaning into a warm embrace.

Looking at Yun Yun—whose pupils were dilated and body tense—Xiao Tian said gently, "Yunzhi, you can't move easily, so I'll help you up. Otherwise, your wound might split open, and the porridge will get cold." Yun Yun blushed and nestled into Xiao Tian's arms. Noticing this, he picked up the fish porridge and scooped a spoonful to bring to her lips. Yun Yun subconsciously opened her mouth and ate it slowly.

After a while, Yun Yun finished the fish porridge in the bowl. Xiao Tian set down the bowl, took out a piece of cotton cloth, wiped the corners of her mouth, and then returned her body to its original position.

After clearing away the bowl, Xiao Tian walked back to the stone where he sat while grilling the fish, picked up the still-warm grilled fish, and began to eat. He had been busy attending to Yun Yun all day, and now he finally had time to eat something.

After a while, Xiao Tian finished the grilled fish, wiped his mouth, washed his hands with clean water, and walked back to Yun Yun.
