Soft whispers continued to slip from Yun Yun's mouth.

Looking at her current state, coupled with the presence of the gray snake, Xiao Tian concluded that it was an inferior magical beast: the Phantom Bat Snake.

Back in the cave, Xiao Tian held Yun Yun, who was clinging to him like an octopus, and quickly retrieved a small knife to roast over the fire.

Yun Yun was brought down with great difficulty, and he held her whole body down. A tiny cut was made on the wound on her left foot, and then he sucked out the venom with his mouth, spitting it out and repeating the process over and over.

Just when Xiao Tian managed to suck out the last bit of venom, something strange happened. Yun Yun broke free from him and rushed directly at Xiao Tian. Her eyes blazed with intensity, her face rosy, and her creamy skin bore scarlet spots.

Suddenly, Xiao Tian's mouth was covered by her red lips, causing him to accidentally swallow the venom.

"Wan La!"

Xiao Tian was momentarily stunned and hurriedly tried to stop Yun Yun. She was like a ravenous wolf, and the "delicious luncheon meat" she targeted was naturally Xiao Tian.

At that moment, the venom swallowed by Xiao Tian began to be absorbed by his body. Suddenly, a mysterious force surged from the depths of his soul and rushed into his mind. Xiao Tian instinctively embraced Yun Yun with both arms, and the two, poisoned in their minds, gradually fell into an embrace and kissed.

A rustling sound was heard, and then Xiao Tian was thrown to the ground.

No words were spoken that night...

...

The next morning.

Xiao Tian, who woke up first, sat up slowly and stared at the woman lying next to him. He gently shook his head. The memories of last night came flooding back like a tidal wave, leaving him with an unreal feeling, as if it had all been a dream.

Yun Yun opened her eyes the moment she sensed some movement around her and instinctively slapped Xiao Tian.

The defenseless Xiao Tian was knocked off the stone platform by Yun Yun's palm, rolling on the ground in a panic.

Seeing Yun Yun looking embarrassed, Xiao Tian said awkwardly, "Are you awake?"

Yun Yun sat up suddenly after waking and surveyed the disarray around her. Grabbing her clothes to cover herself, she recalled the previous day's events with a painful clarity—she had essentially given herself away for nothing.

Looking at the handsome young man before her, Yun Yun gave her teeth a light bite, and a hint of indescribable complexity flashed in her clear eyes.

Even though she had been poisoned by the snake, she still retained some memory of the incident. She recalled the entire process and knew that Xiao Tian had been trying to save her, but her interruption led him to accidentally swallow the venom. So, she felt responsible for it.

As Yun Yun sat upright, the corners of her mouth twitched, and she let out a slight gasp.

Xiao Tian, approaching the stone platform, sat down at its edge. He couldn't help but call softly, "Yun Zhi."

"Turn around," Yun Yun responded in a shy and annoyed tone laced with a hint of coldness.

Xiao Tian didn't say anything. Awkwardly, he stood up and turned his back to her.

A rustling sound followed, and after a moment, Yun Yun's calm, cold voice came over. "Jiang Feng, what happened yesterday was just an accident. Let's just pretend it never happened."

"What do you mean?" Xiao Tian frowned and turned around.

"Just take it literally. Let's pretend that what happened this time never occurred. It'll be better for both of us," Yun Yun said, trying to sound emotionless.

"I'm sorry, I can't do that. Besides, do you really think you can forget it never happened?" Xiao Tian looked at her coldly.

Xiao Tian had originally liked Yun Yun, and after experiencing the rescue, seeing her naked, and being deeply attracted by her appearance, talent, and kindness, she had already made an imprint in his heart. Yet, she hesitated to admit it.

Yun Yun didn't leave either; she inwardly questioned whether she could really forget. Could they merely pretend it never happened?

Seeing the expression changing constantly on her face, Xiao Tian sighed, took a few steps closer, and hugged Yun Yun from behind.

"What are you doing?" Yun Yun struggled against his embrace.

"Don't move. I realize you may not be able to accept this fact immediately, and you might have many concerns, but it doesn't matter. Since it has happened, I will take responsibility." Xiao Tian held her gently.

Yun Yun's body stiffened at his words. Taking the opportunity, Xiao Tian's embrace tightened. He gently brushed his fingers through Yun Yun's long black hair. "You like me, and I like you. Regardless of your worries—whether it's the age difference between us or whether we truly like each other—time will reveal everything. One day, I will make you willingly accept me."

Xiao Tian let go of Yun Yun, knowing too much can be as detrimental as too little. He had shared everything he needed to say. He understood that Yun Yun's nature was to bury her feelings deep within, preferring to keep them to herself, so now she needed time to reflect quietly.

As she watched Xiao Tian squat beside the fire stringing fish, Yun Yun's eyes filled with complexity and melancholy.

In the ensuing silence, Xiao Tian absentmindedly sat on the stone grilling fish. He turned his head, catching a glimpse of her beautiful eyes, and they both averted their gazes, pretending nothing had occurred.

This atmosphere lasted for about twenty minutes. Xiao Tian turned the fish in his hand, picked one up, and offered it to Yun Yun. "Eat something first. You must be hungry after not eating for so long."

"I don't..." Yun Yun began to refuse, but when she saw the gentle, warm smile of the boy, her heart softened. Ultimately, she felt responsible for the series of events that had transpired due to her insistence on bathing. With a soft sigh, she reached out to take the grilled fish.

"Be careful; it might be hot when it's just grilled!" Xiao Tian cautioned.

"Hmm." Yun Yun acknowledged his words and took a bite of the grilled fish. It was unclear whether it was Xiao Tian's caring words or the taste of the delicious fish that slightly lifted her melancholy mood. "My seal will be unblocked tomorrow."

"Congratulations." Xiao Tian paused while eating his fish, then lowered his head and continued, whispering, "I really hope I can seal you again."

"What are you talking about?" Yun Yun heard him but did not catch his meaning.

"Nothing. I mean, after the seal is removed, will you still be looking for the Purple Crystal Winged Lion King?"

"Yes. The Purple Spirit Crystal is very important to me. I came all the way here for it and can't return empty-handed. However, I want you to do me a favor this time." Yun Yun put down the grilled fish and stated.

"Okay, I promise," Xiao Tian replied decisively.

Seeing Xiao Tian agreeing without asking further questions, a trace of surprise flashed across her face. "I haven't told you what I want yet. Aren't you afraid I might ask you to seduce the Purple Crystal Winged Lion King?"

"No, because I know you're not that kind of person."
