139: The Day the Entire Village Saw Buddha!

Just as One-Tailed Shukaku was about to swat Rock Lee away, the sky above the arena suddenly filled with white feathers, falling like snow and blanketing the entire field. 

The Sand and Sound's joint Konoha Crush plan had officially begun.

The ordinary spectators, who had been cheering for the exciting match just moments before, suddenly felt their eyelids grow heavy and collapsed, one after another, into a deep sleep.

In the kage's spectator seats, Hiruzen, who had felt a sense of foreboding the moment he saw Shukaku appear, immediately looked towards the Fourth Kazekage beside him. 

He saw only a black shadow flash across the Kazekage's face.

"Tch!"

On instinct, Hiruzen raised his right hand and, with a kunai drawn in a flash, sliced the shadow in two. 

Only then did he see that it was the Fourth Kazekage's hat.

Before he could react, an arm wrapped around his neck, and three kunai pressed against his back.

"You... Does the Kazekage intend to start a war with all of Konoha?" Hiruzen asked, startled but forcing himself to remain calm.

Hearing this, the "Kazekage's" lips stretched into a wide, sinister grin. "Kazekage? Teacher, you're truly getting old. A simple Transformation Jutsu fooled you."

The familiar raspy voice made Hiruzen's eyes widen in shock. "You... Orochimaru!"

With a cry of surprise, Orochimaru lifted Hiruzen onto the roof.

At the same time, four more ninjas leaped up from nearby.

Four Violet Flames Formation!

Without a word, as if they had rehearsed it countless times, the four ninjas simultaneously formed hand seals. A pale purple barrier rose from the ground, completely encircling Hiruzen and Orochimaru.

"Lord Hokage is in danger!"

The ANBU, who had been drawn to the edges of the arena by Shukaku, quickly rushed back. 

Unfortunately, they were momentarily unable to penetrate the Four Violet Flames Formation.

"Natsuki, what is this?" Hinata asked, looking at the falling white feathers with confusion.

Natsuki, who had been prepared, cast the 'sealing domain' the moment the feathers began to fall.

"It's complicated, but basically, the Chunin Exams are over. The Sand and Sound have launched a simultaneous attack on Konoha," Natsuki explained. 

"It's not safe here, Hinata. I'll escort you back to the Hyuga compound, away from the fighting." He surveyed the chaotic battlefield.

"Wait, Natsuki, I want to fight alongside you. And my sister, Hanabi, is still over there," Hinata said, her voice filled with worry as she gazed at the opposite spectator stands.

Indeed, perhaps due to the Hyuga clan's prominence, Hiashi was currently surrounded by several elite ninjas. 

Little Hanabi was firmly shielded behind him, as Hiashi repeatedly used Eight Trigrams Palms Revolving Heaven to deflect incoming projectiles, even at the cost of his own chakra. 

However, he couldn't keep this up forever.

"Then let's go get your sister," Natsuki nodded.

As he gave the command for Greymon's ultimate attack, Natsuki raised his left hand, his one Tenseigan glowing.

The approaching ninjas suddenly felt themselves pulled forward by an irresistible force, accelerating towards the massive fireball blazing towards them. 

Their eyes widened in terror as they desperately tried to retreat, but it was too late.

Boom!!!

Caught completely off guard by the combo attack, the ninjas were vaporized before they could even scream.

"Father! It's Brother-in-Law and Sister!

"Brother-in-Law is so strong!" Hanabi's eyes widened in excitement.

The elite ninjas who had pushed her father to his limits were wiped out in a mere instant. 

The stark contrast deeply impressed the young Hanabi.

"Damn it, two strong ones showed up!

"Sada and the others underestimated them. Be careful of that boy's strange jutsu that can pull people im," several Sound ninjas quickly conferred, deciding to send half of their remaining forces to eliminate the two newcomers before focusing on Hiashi.

"Lord Hiashi, please use your full power Revolving Heaven," Natsuki's voice suddenly rang out, momentarily confusing everyone.

Why use Revolving Heaven now? 

If they didn't approach, wouldn't it just be a waste of chakra? 

Even Hiashi looked at Natsuki with a puzzled expression.

However, given Natsuki's previous performance, Hiashi decided to trust the capable young man.

A blue energy shield spun rapidly around him.

Seeing that the immediate danger was gone, Hanabi, her eyes sparkling, excitedly rushed towards Natsuki and clung to him like a koala.

The little girl had never witnessed such a bloody battle. 

The fear for her father and her own life had terrified her.

"Hanabi, get down! How can you behave like this?" Hiashi, greatly relieved, hadn't expected Natsuki to be not only powerful but also intelligent. 

However, his face darkened when he saw Hanabi clinging to Natsuki. 

He immediately scolded her.

They were still on the battlefield, the danger hadn't passed, and such behavior was unladylike for a Hyuga! 

Fortunately, Hanabi was only seven years old, still a child.

"It's alright, Uncle. I'll escort you back to the compound. It's not safe here," Natsuki said, holding onto Hanabi to prevent her from falling.

"Very well. I will lead the entire Hyuga clan back into the fight," Hiashi nodded.

Just then, a resounding voice drowned out the chaos of the battlefield.

"Wha... What's that?" Hinata gasped, pointing at the sky.

Above Konoha, within the white clouds, a colossal golden figure appeared before the eyes of all the villagers.

Its dazzling radiance nearly blinded everyone.

Natsuki recognized it instantly: it was the image of the Tathagata Buddha.

'Holy Fuck!! did Lee successfully unlock the Hidden Lotus Palm through his chuuni spirit?' Natsuki thought to himself.

He had always felt that Lee had great potential for being a chuuni, which was why he had taught him the Hidden Lotus Palm. 

It had actually worked! The spirit of Chuuni really depended on the person. 

Natsuki could never imagine someone like Shikamaru gaining special powers through acting like a chuuni.

"...So bright! What is that thing?"

"Idiot, kneel down! That's a god!"

"A god has appeared! A god has come to protect Konoha!"

Outside the Chunin Exams arena, all the ordinary villagers who saw the figure prostrated themselves, praying for divine protection.

Meanwhile, Orochimaru's subordinates finally completed the summoning ritual. 

A gigantic three-headed snake appeared in Konoha's bustling commercial district.

The fighting in the Chunin Exams arena paused briefly.

Shukaku, noticing the anomaly in the sky, roared angrily at the descending Lee.

The enormous golden figure behind Lee gave him a really bad feeling.

Facing Shukaku's raring form, Lee raised his left hand vertically in front of him and brought his right hand down in a palm strike.

Visible ripples spread through the air.

"Aooo!!" Shukaku felt as if a mountain was pressing down on him, and he howled in pain.

Boom!!

His massive body was forced to one knee. 

The ground beside him exploded, sending sand and dust flying. 

A giant palm print was clearly visible on Shukaku's back and the surrounding ground.

"Th...This..."

Silence fell over the entire arena. 

Even Hiruzen and Orochimaru, locked in their battle within the Four Violet Flames Formation, stopped fighting and stared in disbelief.

"A god!"

"A god has intervened to vanquish evil and save us!"

"God bless Konoha!!!"

The villagers, freed from the genjutsu by the Konoha ninjas, prostrated themselves in unison, chanting, "God bless Konoha!"
