Jiang Cheng transmigrated to a vast and boundless universe filled with countless races, gods, and goddesses. Starting as a mere Qi Refining casual cultivator in a small market, he treads cautiously, step by step, honing his skills in talismans, arrays, alchemy, puppets, and weapon refinement.
Despite his low-key nature, fate entangles him with heaven’s chosen ones, dragging him into countless disasters—even when he does nothing.
As he grows stronger, he forges bonds with humans, dragons, Pheonix, demons, angels, and more, navigating the turbulent currents of the cultivation world. But his journey is far from peaceful. A looming war between universes awaits, and when the time comes, Jiang Cheng must choose his path in the grand cosmic struggle.
Amidst the final battlefield, Jiang Cheng stood indifferent, surrounded by hundreds of thousands of enemies. As a gentle flute melody echoed across the universe, ancient whispers resounded:
[Ancient Dao, hold on to the thought of
sealing the sky, the mountains and rivers are great,
the nine mountains and seas need the Dao to
come, my life is immeasurable.]
The sword flashed, and a powerful Enemy's head fell.
[ Ancient Dao, thinking of the ever-
changing monsters, walking on the road that is not
immortal, stepping on nine mountains and seas,
my way is eternal, the people are wrong but my
way is true, my life is immeasurable.]
The whispers grew stronger, their echoes carrying across the battlefield.
[ Ancient Dao, upholding the meaning of protection, destroying powerful enemies,
Shielding the human race—if the heavens are wrong, my Dao Will stand true.
The human race is boundless ]
This novel is my first attempt at writing, and I’m still learning a lot along the way. So, when you start reading, please be kind. If something feels off, whether it's a typo or a part that doesn’t meet your expectations, I’d appreciate calm and constructive feedback. But please, take the time to read a few chapters before making judgments. If you enjoy it, feel free to continue; if not, there's no need to be harsh—just set it aside and explore other stories. I’d be grateful if you could leave supportive comments, even if you don't like something. Your encouragement means a lot to me, and I truly appreciate your support. Also, please note that the story will progress slowly. If you’re someone who enjoys fast-paced fighting or constant upgrades, I’m not sure if this one will be to your taste. However, if you're still interested and want to give it a try, feel free to do so—I’d be happy to have you along for the journey.
This novel is refreshing because it focuses on the protagonist’s self-improvement rather than just romance or meaningless distractions. His journey feels realistic as he works hard to build himself into the best version possible, facing challenges and setbacks along the way. I really appreciate how the story takes its time, making every achievement feel earned rather than rushed. The slow burn aspect works well, allowing the protagonist’s growth to feel natural rather than forced. The sequence of actions is well-paced, keeping me engaged without feeling overwhelmed. The world-building is immersive, and the cultivation elements are explained in a way that makes sense without being too complex. Even with minor grammatical mistakes, the story remains compelling, and they don’t take away from the experience. The writing captures the struggles of self-discipline and improvement, making it relatable to readers who enjoy deeper character development. One of the things I like most is how the protagonist stays focused on his goals rather than being sidetracked by unnecessary drama. This makes him stand out from typical characters in the genre. I’m really looking forward to more chapters, especially to see how his training progresses and what challenges he faces next 🩵 Thank you
This story has a lot of promise. The details exploring cultivation and the setting and society are really vibrant. There is an attention to details that brings it to life and shows great promise as the story starts to unfold. There is also a joy in the storytelling that comes through expressing just how much fun becoming a cultivator would be. The current posting pace is really high, almost every day we get a new post and some days we get more than one. I do love receiving chapters frequently, but this probably needs to be slowed down to address the following issues: The big downside to this story right now is the grammar and formatting. There needs to be a lot more polish put on this before posting. The inconsistent capitalization in the story title is a good indicator of the kind of issues we have: it jumps between 1st person and 3rd person POVs, goes back and forth between present and past tense, there are extra spaces and punctuation typos. Occasionally a sentence just ends suddenly and is never finished. Or a sentence seems more like a bullet from the story outline, that was supposed to get more framing thoughts, or more transition between the neighboring paragraphs but it never got it, so we are left just interpreting sudden ideas and figuring out what just happened. I do think there is a good story in here though, once some editing puts some polish on it.
