Realization

Gabriel wakes up finding himself in an empty white void and he immediately gets up looking up around him. "Emily?"

Emily appears behind him with a soft smile. "I'm glad you made it Gabriel" She sighs softly looking at him her eyes wavering as she look at him.

Gabriel looks at her curiously. "Did something happen?"

Emily nods looking into his eyes. "Before we talk Gabriel we need to remove that implant from your eyes" Gabriel looks at her a bit taken aback.

"You need to what?!" He instinctively puts his hands over his right eye. "You can't just do that its basically a part of me at this point."

Emily looks at him a bit frustrated "Gabriel we are fugitives. The world is more corrupted by the influence of darkness than I anticipated" Emily looks at him her expression unreadable.

"We need to kill Asmodeus as soon as possible so that these people are free from their brainwashed state." Emily's voice breaks down as she sits down next to him.

"And Gabriel" She takes a soft breath before speaking "Your mother was killed by lethal injection. It was done by one of Asmodeus's minions" Her voice rings out through the empty white voice as Gabriel looks at Emily in shock and dismay.

"No….. What do you mean by killed?" Gabriel's voice shakes as he looks at Emily looking for clarification. "They can't just kill my mother without any reason"

Emily looks at him apologetically gently holding his hand "Gabriel do you see now what kind of world you live in? It's been broken by the darkness and now under the control of the seven"

Gabriel looks down tears dripping down his face as he laughs in pain "So this isn't a nightmare anymore its becoming a reality as we speak." He looks at Emily as if searching for answers. "Tell me what do I need to do in order to kill every single last demon left on this planet I will avenge my mother and every last humans tha suffered in the hands of those beasts."

Emily gently hugs him tightly her wings wrapping around him as she speaks softly "We begin by killing Asmodeus but I need to train you but we need to remove every last piece of tech you have implanted into your body."

Emily looks at him thoughtfully. "The tech you have is a creation made to benefit your kind but it is a doubled edged sword it is dangerous and Asmodeus and the other six sins can track us down easily with it."

Gabriel nods in understanding "Alright then ill take them off" Gabriel gently focuses and the Iris implant falls out of his eyes a slit of clear glass slips out and lands in his hands. "I think that's about it right?"

Emily looks at his body with a thoughtful expression. "Yes I believe that's about it"

Gabriel gets up stretching. "So when do we start training?"

Emily smiles softly "Alright then sit down we will start with the basics and I need to go through some history lesson with you" She snaps her fingers and a flat stone wall manifests in the void along with a stump of wood. "Alright Gabriel sit down and we shall begin"

Gabriel collects himself wiping his tears and taking deep breaths but his sorrow still remains in his heart as he sits down on the wood stump. "Im ready to begin"

Emily takes out a pallet of charcoal and paints and she begins by drawing a triangle. "This is the hierarchy of angels Gabriel listen close" Emily draws 9 lines separating the triangle in a hierarchy structure.

Emily begins writting down on the first most highest point of the triangle section. "These are the seraphims the closest with God which is what rank I am. Therefore I am responsible for carrying the sacred flames of heaven and have the duty of the attendant of God"

Emily continues down onto the second most highest point on the triangle "These are the cherubim's they are responsible for protecting sacred places of God and sadly most of them are gone mostly killed by the Seven sins during the first war protecting the seven sacred places located on earth"

She makes her way down to the third most highest points of the triangle "These are the thrones they are represent Gods justice and authority" She finishes the explanation of the first sphere of angels. "These three types of angels are the highest ranked on the hierarchy of angels."

She then continues to the second layer of the triangle and writes down dominions, virtues, and powers "These are the second highest ranked on the hierarchy of the angels they fulfil Gods plan in the universe and have been mostly wiped out after the first war" Emily sighs softly "Many of them died because of the seven sins and their evil plots"

Emily then finally begins to write down the last three spots on the hierarchy of angels in the triangle. "This is the third and final layer of the hierarchy of angels they interact and serve humanity closely they used to that is…." Emily writes down principalities, archangels, and angels. "We lost communication with them after the first war when darkness began taking over earth and then they were forgotten by the humans"

Emily sets the charcoal and paint down "You need to know this because Gabriel these are the lost histories of the beginning of time the first records of these angels made by your ancestors were buried and we were forgotten"

Emily continues in a serious tone. "This is the reason humans were so easily brainwashed because the lost history"

Gabriel nods softly then looks at Emily curiously "Then why haven't the other higher ranked angels do anything? Why didn't they come down to warn people of the seven sins?"

Emily looks at him in understanding "Because Gabriel God disappeared we don't know what happened but he disappeared one day we don't know when and our efforts were focused on finding out why he left us"

She sighs softly "Our focus was to find God first then deal with the threat of the seven sins and darkness because without God we cannot defeat darkness"

Emily stands up spreading her wings out fluffing the feather softly. "I was the only Seraphim who was willing to give humanity another chance that's why I was sent down looking for humans worthy of fighting on the right side this time."

Emily looks into Gabriels eyes "I will turn you into a warrior of God no entity, angel, or demon has ever seen and I will make sure you kill the demons who took your mothers life."

She walks over to Gabriel gently hugging him "I will grant you the gift or retribution"

Gabriel whispers softly into her ear. "Is that a promise?"

Emily whispers back her voice echoing throuhg the empty white void. "Yes Gabriel that is a promise…."
