ERROR

'Huh? Where am I?' Karl looked around, his heart pounding in his chest, his breath shallow and fast.

'Kid, calm down,' a distorted voice echoed in his mind, calm and mysterious.

'Who are you?' Karl demanded, gripping the hilt of the gun on his back.

'I am... You won't understand. You can call me Glitch,' the voice replied, almost amused.

'What are you, then?' Karl snapped, his grip tightening on the gun as a flicker of doubt flashed in his mind.

'I contain all the errors of this dimension, all the things that are not reasonable.'

'Are you evil? Or are you trying to destroy the world?' Karl asked, his eyes darting around the room, searching for danger, paranoia creeping in. He pulled out his gun and aimed it around.

The voice suddenly sounded angrier, but it quickly softened. 'Yeah, the prejudice in human hearts is a mountain I'll never be able to cross.'

'What are you talking about?'

'You see, after many generations of this, it's still the same.'

'Can you please use human language?'

'So, kid, you're controlled by a higher-dimensional civilization. They got bored, so they decided to bend the reality of a lower-dimensional civilization to watch it. And you humans? You're the seventh civilization they've taken control of. Or you can call it the seventh version of the seventh version. Since they exist in a higher dimension, they can kill you easily—like squashing a bug—because they control everything happening here.'

Karl didn't panic. He trusted humanity could be saved. However, HE WILL GET REVENGE.

'Glitch, why did you come into my body?'

'I almost got erased by those damn bots. My power was sealed by reality, and you were the closest person to me in distance. By the way, who were your parents?'

Karl looked confused. He didn't know who his parents were. They had been gone before he could remember anything. His name was something he had chosen for himself—it was, in fact, a legend. He had learned language without the help of parents.

'I actually don't know.'

'How did you learn the language, then?'

'I still don't know.'

'My god, now it's you who isn't answering the questions. Whatever. I'll get to the topic. If you help me regain my powers, I'll reward you.'

'You won't destroy the world?'

'I'm not evil!!! I just need to get my powers back!'

'Sure,' Karl answered immediately.

'Wait, you answered this without hesitation?'

'Yeah.'

Suddenly, power began flowing into his body. He started glitching, his body trembling as if struggling to contain the force.

'AHHHHHHHH!'

'Well, you can't take the power without pain. It contains the power of error, one of the most basic forces that formed this dimension. And I am the power itself. Even just a bit of my power can cause pain. But to the glitch's surprise, Karl was okay after that.'

'Wow, what the hell was that?'

'Nice, you have successfully gained the power of error. I never thought someone would be able to take it.'

'What is this power? Why am I glitching?'

'It's chill because you gained my power. Try it out.'

Karl suddenly woke up. 'Try it out?'

'Wait, you can talk to me without me being in my subconscious?'

'I am a part of you now. Now try your power.'

He released his basic skill toward a couch: a quick, erratic strike that caused the target's form to momentarily pixelate

"Kid, my power is based on finding the information of the object you are targeting and changing it. As you gradually understand the laws of reality, you will unlock more of my power. The fundamental law of my ability is called 'The Invader'—it infiltrates the information of your target. However, on the other hand, you need sufficient mental stability and comprehension to wield it properly."

Suddenly, an announcement was posted—it went straight into Karl's mind.

"This is just an example. It directly transmits the message to you by accessing your information. But my power is the opposite of that. I can hack into your information and change it. Unlike that ability, mine has greater stability and allows me deeper access to manipulate things."

"So are we living in a reality-bended world or in an AI generated world" Karl asked randomly

"Both ones, you are living in an world that is bended to a AI world"
