Observer (0%) – New entrants with no real agency. They can witness events but cannot influence reality directly. Often unaware they are in a trial.
Pawn (10%) – Basic understanding of choices but minimal control over outcomes. Most participants remain at this level, stuck in small-scale dilemmas.
Challenger (25%) – Aware of the system and starting to make strategic decisions. Has limited foresight into consequences but can alter minor realities.
Gambler (40%) – Takes higher risks, understanding that choices ripple beyond immediate situations. Gains the ability to sense 'probability shifts' before making a decision.
Architect (55%) – Can shape localized sections of reality by forcing a choice onto others. Begins to see through illusions and hidden mechanics.
Harbinger (70%) – Able to perceive multiple timelines and influence them. Their choices create anomalies, and their presence alone distorts the game's logic.
Quantum Sovereign (85%) – Masters of probability and causality. Their decisions overwrite reality itself. However, they are bound by the Trial's highest laws.
Paradox Ascendant (100%) – Beyond the game's intended limits. Exists in multiple states at once, defying causality. However, reaching this level may trigger a forced 'Correction' from the system itself.
After seeing all of it, Karl was confused.
"Glitch?"
Glitch didn't answer.
"He's asleep again?" Karl thought.
Karl checked his coordinates: ^&X (*.08Y
"This has always been confusing, but this is 67X 98.08Y, I think."
Suddenly, an idea popped into his head.
"What if I change it? I'd be teleporting then."
So Karl changed the X by 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000....0001, and he teleported a few meters forward.
"Damn, I have two abilities now!"
"Pixelize." He said to a couch.
The couch became pixelized.
"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Kidding!"
"Have you always talked to yourself, kid?"
"Wait, you're awake?"
"I was never asleep. I just wasn't online."
"Can I delete things now?" Karl asked curiously.
"Apparently, no. Because you're weak."
"You can't be talking, Glitch."
"I am 300 billion years older than you, and I used to be strong."
"Why are you weak now?"
"I told you, my powers were sealed by 'Disgrace.'"
"Who is Disgrace?"
"Another entity. The power of destruction."
"Let me guess: There are 9 entities in this dimension, 90 in the 10 dimensions of this reality. They were created by something that is Power itself— the first thing ever to exist in the nothingness. It creates 10 dimensions, each with 9 entities, split among 3 clans: the Negative, the Positive, and the Neutral. You were in the Negative, even though you aren't evil. The leader of the Negative team is 'Disgrace,' the entity of destruction. You fought him, lost, got your power sealed, and escaped into this world, but then got attacked by the bots and ended up inside me?"
"...First of all, Disgrace isn't the leader. We have equal power."
"Second... Holy crap. How the heck did you get all of that right?"
"My apologies, though. This world wouldn't have been created if I hadn't lost to Disgrace. Because I embody all unreasonable things. Originally, I could have controlled this to not happen— because this world being generated is not reasonable. But since I lost... everything became possible."
Suddenly, A voice went into his mind again
"The game determine your starter Rank will begin"
