15. Beast of judah

Zach hung from Zain's hand Like rag doll cursing.

'Where did I go wrong....?' Zach gritted, the sizzling around his neck grew intense, his flesh screamed in pain, eyes widened.

Zach glanced at Zain.

The heavenly knight was having the time of his life torturing the hell out of his life.

The sound of clashing steel filled the area as millions of shards of steel fell, falling onto the hard ground creating a sound resembling rain, but vastly different, like the clamoring of steel being spammed hundreds of time at a go.

Zach grabbed Zain's powerful arms wincing.

Zain's free hand glowed as red talons appeared on his finger tips.

Driving it at Zach.

Zach felt the world fade into black and white...

The series of golden lin s morphed infront Zach.

Zach's eyes widened, he had forgotten of the Aragoth's power.

He couldn't think about it he just had to do something.

"Extract..." he muffled through the he's breath.

[Aragoth's sub ability.. has the ability to extract energy from those who's power you copied..and used them in one explosive burst]

This is basically almost impractical, but in this moment it was all he had.

Red warm blood flowed down the heavenly knights arm, that was currently through Zach chest..

"That's good..." he smiled.

The rain stopped, the blades stopped raining, the sound clanging metal stopped echoing, Zach looked above, Haruki stated at Zain from above.

Haruki's fist clenched as blood flowed down his eyes.

"What..?" Zain looked around, his sea of blades were completely gone, like they'd never existed, Zain tried pulling away from Zach's chest but it wouldn't budge.

" what is this..?"

Arghh..." Zain felt his life was being drained out of him.

He tried yanking his hand out of Zach but Zach flesh gripped tighten.

Zach raised his hand once more, clutching the heavenly knights wrist.

Hear emated from Zachs hand exploding violently, send Zach and the heavenly knight flying in two opposite directions.

Zach crashed into a pile of rubble, his chest bled profusely onto the rubble.

The knights hand was till stuck to his chest. At the last moment the knight had severed his own arm.

Zain stood up from the rubble, red blood flows from his missing arm.

He looked at Zach, eyes wide...

"W-what are you.." he spoke gritting his teeth.

The place was dark...

And cold.

He felt like a bucket of cold chilling water wash over him.

'w-where am I? ' he thought as his body drifted, through the black abyss, eyes wide...

The feeling was surreal, he felt pain in his chest, but at the same time his chest didn't ache, the pain felt there mentally but it was physically not there.

The distant bold was dorned with countless purples stars, filling up the black void with an incandescent light.

Zach body felt like it was submerged in water every movement he made, although minimal..felt like he moved but his body didn't move.

His was mentally tilting his head but his brain, didn't receive the signal.

A sudden random thought came to his head.., as his body drifted down...

' the child that stood at the edge of existence... '

"What is this..?".. is this really the edge of existence.

[Aragoth has recorded yet another imprint...]

Zach looked at the golden lines on front of him...

"No.."

Zach couldn't just absorb any energy he could find, but the imprint had already been made, Zach at least wanted to wait a little bit more for him to absorb the second imprint but well.. it is what it is.

' Wait does this mean if I don't a sord the energy, I'll die..?' Zach asked fully aware of the answer to that question himself.

Well it had to be done, he didn't have a choice.

'Absorb.. ' he thought.

Zach body rattled as the entire void shook, blue flames burst into the void exploded everything in a vibrant explosion, Zach's body heated upas he scenery changed completely, as if the flames burned it void entirely transporting him to an unknown location.

Each and every of the grass had a crimons red hue to them, Zach looked around surveyimg his surroundings.

The grass filed streached far and wide, like the combination of two stadiums in terms of size and at the end.. tall trees leading to dark forest loomed.

It felt like the world was divided.

The nightly glow of the moon hovered, casting an ominous and eerie glow.

Something seemed ominous.

'Where am I..?', Zach wondered paralysed as he stood in the midst of the tall grass.

At frist he didn't notice it.

But the he eyes wandered to the middle of the field.

Corpses...

A mountain of them.

Towering as they soared into the heavens, the red hues on the plants...

Zach could tell...

It was blood.

"What the..?".

Atop this towering hill a man stood.

The man's eyes were no even on him but he could feel the pressure of his domineering gaze weighimg down on his very soul.

His wavy black hair fluttered, and his eyes... a pool of glowing suns.

Zach was in place, he couldn't moved, almost as if the entity in front of him did not allow the world to allow Zach to move.

The entitys eyes moved, and a face, that seemed to be chiseled from stone stared down at him...

"Hail.. the beast..."
