The clouds outside the window shifted slowly as the floating car flew through the sky, trailing the other three blacked-out vehicles behind it.

Inside the lead car, the air was quiet, cool, clean, and faintly scented with lavender and something expensive.

The girl leaned her head against the window, staring down at the shrinking city below. Her long black hair fell around her shoulders like silk, swaying gently with the motion of the car.

From the outside, she looked calm.

Maybe even cold.

But inside, her thoughts were far from peaceful.

She sighed quietly.

"Another normal day," she muttered.

The head bodyguard glanced at her in the rearview mirror. "Are you feeling unwell, young mistress?"

"No," the girl replied. "Just… tired."
