Zain looked at Blazren and shrugged.
"If you really believe there's someone behind Velvet Demon," he said, "then go find out who it is."
Blazren let out a heavy breath.
"It's not that easy."
Zain raised an eyebrow. "Why not?"
Blazren leaned on the table beside him, eyes tired.
"Velvet Demon is already AA-Rank. Not just barely—she's solid."
Zain nodded slowly. "And?"
Blazren's eyes narrowed. "If there's someone behind her, they're even more terrifying."
Zain stayed quiet, watching him.
Blazren continued. "I'm just A-Rank."
"I don't have the power or the access to track someone like that."
Zain spoke again, casual. "Then why don't you ask an AA-Rank hero to help?"
Blazren let out a dry laugh. "That's the problem."
"They're not easy to talk to."
"They're too arrogant," he said. "Most of them act like they're above everyone."
Zain smirked a little. "And yet, you still need them."
