The Golden Welcome

Aayan fell harder for Jamila each passing day. He knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. Three months into the relationship, he decided it was time for her to meet his parents. So, on a particular moonlit evening during a romantic cruise in the Caribbean, he spoke to her about it.

“ Habibi,what do you think about meeting my parents? “

Jamila was surprised. “ Your parents? Really? Are you serious? “

“Yes of course. I love you and you are the most important person in my life. So I thought that you could meet them.”

“ Will they approve of me?” She asked softly. “ I mean I’m not rich or anything…”

Aayan smiled gently. “They will love you. “

“Alright then. When we fly back home,we can meet them. Right?”

“Yes habibi. As you wish.” He said gently.
