SOPHIA'S POV

I heard the familiar rumble of Garry’s car pulling into the driveway, and my breath hitched. My pulse was still racing, my skin clammy from the panic that had consumed me ever since I discovered Matteo had installed hidden cameras. My hands trembled slightly as I tried to compose myself, forcing deep breaths into my lungs.

The thought of him watching me—seeing my every move, my most vulnerable moments—sent a shiver down my spine. I glanced around the room, scanning every corner, every crevice. But of course, I saw nothing. The cameras were hidden, expertly placed where no ordinary person could spot them. I needed help.

Garry.

He was the only one I could turn to right now. He might not have the skills to find the cameras himself, but maybe he knew someone who could.

I had told myself over and over that I wouldn't involve him in this, that I wouldn't put him in danger. But this was different. Matteo had crossed a line.
