Chapter 3: The Goblin Wars Unfold
---
The sun hung low in the sky, casting long shadows over the battlefield that had once been the Goblin Mage Village. Crow, atop his Dire Wolf, had already moved on. His army of Undead Goblin Warriors and the Undead Goblin Mages—all of them newly leveled up from their brutal battle—advanced with renewed strength, ready for the next conquest.
Crow's actions were a mystery to everyone else. The other high school students, having heard nothing about the Necromancer King or the undead army, were on their own journey. They had formed teams, each with their own ambitions, but they were unaware of the deadly forces that Crow had unleashed upon the world.
Somewhere far from Crow, in a small village, a group of students, all young warriors and magic users, were gearing up for their own quest.

The High School Team's Arrival
A team of high school students had set out on their journey toward the Warrior Goblin Village, a notorious stronghold known for its fierce goblin warriors. Their mission was to clear the village of goblin invaders, unaware that the goblins had long been decimated by the power of Crow's Undead.
Riku, a skilled swordsman, led the group. His calm demeanor belied the intensity of his skills. Beside him was Lia, a magician specializing in elemental magic, with a fireball always crackling in her palm. Hiro, a defensive tank, held his shield high, his gaze stern, and Yui, a healer, completed the group, her staff glowing with restorative energy.
"We need to move quickly," Riku said, his voice firm. "The Warrior Goblin Village is just ahead, and the last reports we got said it was teeming with goblins. We need to clear it and secure the area."
"Do you really think this is just another goblin raid?" Lia asked, her eyes scanning the surrounding woods with suspicion. "I've heard whispers about something... bigger. Something that's been wiping out villages and goblin forces alike."
Hiro grunted, tightening his grip on his shield. "We don't have time for rumors. We have to do our job."
But even as they made their way through the dense forest toward the Warrior Goblin Village, they could sense something was wrong. The trees were eerily silent, the usual sounds of the forest—birds chirping, leaves rustling—were absent.

Crow's Growing Undead Army
Far away from the high school team's path, Crow was making his way toward the Archer Goblin Village, a different goblin stronghold that had long been known for its deadly ranged warriors. But as Crow rode on his Dire Wolf, the consequences of his previous actions rippled through the world.
The Undead Goblin Warriors and Undead Goblin Mages had gained levels after their victory over the Goblin Mage Village.

Each of them had become far more powerful than they were in life. The Undead Goblin Warriors were now brutal fighters, capable of smashing through almost any enemy defense. The Undead Goblin Mages, previously weak and limited in power, now had the strength to tear apart the magical barriers of even the most powerful enemies.
The battle had only begun, and Crow's undead army was only growing stronger.
As Crow approached the Archer Goblin Village, the land became increasingly treacherous. The air was thick with the scent of death, and the ground was covered in the remnants of past conflicts. He knew what awaited him—a village full of goblin archers, each one with the potential to deal devastating ranged damage. But Crow had no fear. His undead had grown strong, and their numbers were overwhelming. There was no stopping him now.

The High School Team's Discovery
Back with the high school students, they had reached the outskirts of the Warrior Goblin Village. The air was thick with tension, and the silence that hung over the place felt unnatural.
"This is... strange," Lia murmured. "Where are all the goblins?"
Riku frowned. "We should move in and clear it. There might be traps, but we're ready."
The team advanced cautiously, but as they crossed the village threshold, the sight before them was not what they expected. The once-thriving goblin village had been utterly decimated. Buildings were reduced to rubble, and the air was thick with the stench of decay.
Lia stepped forward, her eyes narrowing. "This wasn't a raid. This was... something else."
Then, a cold voice echoed across the field. "You're not supposed to be here."
The group spun around, weapons at the ready, only to be confronted by an Undead Goblin Warrior, its eyes glowing with an unnatural light. Its sword was raised, and it gave a low, guttural growl as it advanced toward them.
Before they could react, the ground trembled as more Undead Goblin Warriors began to rise from the earth, their skeletal forms emerging from the soil, weapons drawn and ready to attack.
"This isn't just a raid," Hiro said, stepping forward with his shield raised. "This is a force, and it's coming for us."
"We have to fight back!" Yui shouted, raising her staff.
Riku nodded. "Hold your ground, everyone!"
And so, the battle began. The Undead Goblin Warriors swarmed toward the students, their eyes gleaming with malevolent intent. The students fought valiantly, their magic and sword strikes cleaving through the undead forces. But no matter how many they defeated, more rose from the earth to take their place.
"This is endless!" Lia cried, casting a massive Firestorm to scorch the advancing undead, but there seemed to be no end to them.
The Undead Goblin Mages had also joined the fray, launching Necrotic Bolts and Mana Drain at the students, sapping their energy with every attack.
"We need to get out of here!" Hiro shouted, pushing back several of the undead. "There's no way we can win this!"
Just as they were about to retreat, the Undead Goblin Boss appeared, towering above the battlefield, its massive sword gleaming with dark energy. It swung its weapon, and the shockwave sent Riku and his team flying backward.
The team regrouped quickly, realizing they had no chance of victory in the face of such overwhelming odds.

Crow's Arrival at the Archer Goblin Village
Meanwhile, Crow had arrived at the Archer Goblin Village, which lay eerily quiet before him. The goblins had already begun to sense his approach. They had fortified their village with archers perched on every tower, but they were not prepared for what awaited them.
With a casual flick of his wrist, Crow commanded his Undead Goblin Warriors and Undead Goblin Mages to surround the village. The first wave of archers fired arrows, but they were too slow. Crow's undead closed the distance with terrifying speed, their skeletal forms moving like shadows.
Before the goblin archers could react, the Undead Goblin Warriors breached their defenses, tearing through their formations. The Undead Goblin Mages launched devastating spells, shattering the archers' ranks and wiping out their barriers.
Crow stepped forward, his cold eyes scanning the battlefield. "Nothing will stop me," he murmured.
And with that, the Archer Goblin Village fell before him, just as the Goblin Mage Village and the Warrior Goblin Village had. The land was his, and the world would soon come to understand the true power of the Necromancer King.
---
The high school team, having barely escaped the battle, was left with more questions than answers. They knew one thing for certain: they were no longer just fighting goblins. There was something much darker and more powerful at work, and it was led by someone—or something—more terrifying than anything they had ever encountered.
Little did they know, Crow was already moving toward his next conquest. And they, unwittingly, were just getting caught in the middle of a war they didn't fully understand.
