The Queen’s Revenge

Days passed since the angels' attack, but Lilith's rage burned hotter with each breath. The heavens had tried to drag her back to break her will. They failed. But she knew this was only the beginning. The Creator would not stop.

She stood on a rocky peak, watching the world below. Villages stretched across the land small and fragile. Lilith saw their weakness. If the heavens wanted to destroy her, she would strike first.

Samael appeared beside her, his wings casting long shadows. "You're thinking of revenge," he said, his voice smooth.

Lilith smiled faintly. "Why should the heavens have power over this world? Let them fear me instead."

Samael chuckled. "I knew you were stronger than they realized. But if you want revenge, you cannot act alone. Power must be built piece by piece."

Lilith's eyes glinted in the fading light. "Then we begin tonight."

The village at the edge of the forest was small, its people sleeping peacefully beneath the stars. Lilith moved like a shadow through the streets. She no longer felt hunger the way she once had now, she craved something else. Followers.

A woman stepped out of a small hut, carrying a child in her arms. Lilith stopped, watching her closely. This woman frail and exhausted reminded her of how weak she had once been. Powerless. Controlled.

No more.

Lilith raised her hand, and the air grew thick with her magic. The woman froze, her breath catching in her throat. "Do not fear," Lilith said softly. "I offer you freedom freedom from pain, from hunger, from death itself."

The woman's eyes widened. "Who… who are you?"

"I am Lilith," she said, her voice smooth as silk. "And I can give you the power to break free."

The woman hesitated. Fear flickered in her gaze but beneath it was something else. Desperation. Lilith knew that feeling well.

With a single touch, Lilith poured her power into the woman. The weak, fragile form grew stronger her eyes darkened, her face sharpened. No longer just a simple human. Now, she was something more.

"You are the first of many," Lilith whispered.

Samael watched from the shadows, a pleased smile on his lips. "You're building an army."

Lilith nodded. "Let the heavens tremble. I will not stand alone."

By the next moon, her numbers grew. Lilith moved from village to village, offering power to the broken, the forgotten, and those cast aside. Men and women who had suffered under the heavens' laws now, they would rise with her.

But power always had a cost.

One night, as Lilith returned to her mountain sanctuary, Samael caught her wrist. His touch burned like fire. "You're moving too quickly," he warned. "The heavens are watching."

Lilith pulled free, her gaze fierce. "Let them watch. They could not break me before they will not stop me now."

Samael's expression darkened. "The Archangels themselves will come if you push too far. Even I cannot protect you from them all."

Lilith laughed softly. "I do not need protection. I am no longer the woman they cast aside I am the Queen of the Night."

Her voice rang through the air, thick with power.

And far above, in the heavens, the angels turned their eyes toward her.

The war was only beginning.
