BLACK SQUAD – EPISODE 58: "THE VANISHING BRIDE"

OPENING SEQUENCE – A Wedding to Remember

INT. ROYAL HERITAGE HOTEL – BANQUET HALL – NIGHT

The hall gleams with golden lights and red roses. Guests mingle, laughter echoes, and the sound of shehnai plays in the background. The groom, Rohan Malhotra (29), stands awkwardly in a cream sherwani, glancing at the grand staircase every few seconds.

ANNOUNCER (V.O.) "The bride will be arriving shortly. Please stay seated."

But 30 minutes pass—no sign of the bride.

CUT TO:

INT. HOTEL ROOM – MEERA'S SUITE – SAME TIME

The camera pans over a half-worn bridal lehenga, dangling earrings, and a mobile phone buzzing on the floor.

The window is wide open.

The curtains flutter violently in the wind. One of Meera's bangles lies shattered on the floor, with a tiny drop of blood next to it.

CUT TO BLACK.

SCENE 1 – THE BLACK SQUAD ARRIVES

INT. HOTEL CORRIDOR – NIGHT

ACP Sulaiman Qazi, flanked by Inspector Imran Wani and Arjun Rathore, walks through the corridor with a stern face.

> Qazi: "Tell me everything. From the top."

The hotel manager explains how Meera Kapoor went to her room around 6:45 PM to get dressed. A maid last saw her at 7:00 PM. Since then—nothing.

The squad enters Meera's suite.

Neha, the forensic expert, is already scanning the room.

> Neha: "No signs of forced entry. But this blood droplet—she was likely injured in a struggle. And the window? Could be the escape route or the intruder's entry point."

---

SCENE 2 – THE GROOM'S STATEMENT

INT. HOTEL LOUNGE – INTERROGATION SETUP – NIGHT

Rohan sits, surrounded by relatives, clearly disturbed—but not entirely shocked.

> Imran: "You don't seem too surprised she's gone."

> Rohan: "We… had arguments recently. She was behaving differently. Paranoid. She thought someone was following her."

He reveals that Meera had received threatening messages from an unknown number, but refused to call off the wedding.

Qazi demands access to Meera's call logs and messages.

---

SCENE 3 – THE EX-BOYFRIEND TWIST

INT. CYBER LAB – LATER THAT NIGHT

The last call from Meera's phone went to Aditya Singh, her ex-boyfriend.

Location: Andheri East – Singh Residence

Aditya (31), a graphic designer, admits Meera called him frantically around 7:05 PM.

> Aditya: "She said she couldn't trust anyone around her. She wanted to meet me, said she feared for her life."

> Qazi: "Did she say why?"

> Aditya: "Only one word—'proof.' She found some proof."

CCTV footage from the hotel parking confirms that Aditya waited for 40 minutes… but Meera never came.

---

SCENE 4 – THE HITMAN REVEALED

INT. TECH LAB – NIGHT

The tech team discovers a masked figure entering Meera's floor at 7:10 PM. He exits at 7:25 PM. He wears hotel staff clothing but never checked in.

Using gait analysis and badge tracking, the team identifies the intruder as Ramesh Verma, a known criminal with past links to contract killings.

Ramesh is arrested from a dingy lodge in Navi Mumbai.

> Ramesh: "I was just paid to scare her… things got out of hand."

Under pressure, he breaks down.

> Ramesh: "The order came from Arvind Malhotra. He didn't want the girl exposing his deals."

---

SCENE 5 – THE COVER-UP AND RESCUE

INT. HOTEL BASEMENT STORAGE – DAWN

Following a tracking chip placed in Ramesh's phone, the team finds a locked maintenance room in the basement.

They force it open.

Inside—Meera, alive but unconscious, her mouth taped and hands tied. Barely breathing.

> Neha (checking pulse): "She's alive. Call the ambulance—NOW!"

She's rushed to the hospital.

---

SCENE 6 – JUSTICE DELIVERED

INT. MUMBAI POLICE HQ – DAY

Arvind Malhotra is arrested publicly as media swarm the area.

> Reporter: "The wedding day horror ends with corporate scandal and attempted murder. The Black Squad saves the day again."

---

ENDING SCENE – HQ OFFICE

Meera sits with Qazi, now out of danger.

> Meera: "I thought I was done for. Thank you… for believing I wasn't just a bride who got cold feet."

> Qazi (smiling): "You weren't running away. You were standing your ground."

FADE OUT.
