Black Squad – Episode 85

Title: "Final Ashes"

(Every fire leaves embers. The Astra program is over, but its ashes still smolder in the darkest corners. For Black Squad, this is the last chapter in the book they never asked to read — and the first page of a new legacy.)

---

[COLD OPEN – SECRET MILITARY BASE, ARUNACHAL PRADESH]

Subject-06 lies unconscious in a cryogenic vault.

Outside, a lone guard walks the perimeter.

Suddenly — alarm blares.

An elite mercenary squad breaks in, brutally eliminating guards. Their mission: extract Subject-06.

One merc says over radio:

> "Target located. Begin transfer."

Before they can finish, the screen glitches to black…

ACT 1: Virk's Return

Qazi, Zoya, Imran, and Reet attend a classified MOD meeting. There, the impossible happens:

General Virk enters the room — alive.

His face is bruised, arm in sling.

> Virk: "The mercs didn't kill me. They needed me. Because I had the backup codes."

He reveals the truth:

The mercs were hired by a rogue international syndicate, interested in buying the Astra formula.

The real final test subject wasn't Raaka, Subject-06, or Subject-Zero.

It was Subject-X — a weaponized child prototype, bred for control and obedience.

And it was stolen.

---

ACT 2: The Chase for Subject-X

The squad races to track the merc team across the northeast.

Zoya uncovers surveillance footage of Subject-X being taken via underground rail to Siliguri, near the Nepal border.

Qazi, deeply affected, confesses:

> "I signed off on the Subject-X file 14 years ago.

They told me it failed. That he died in the vat."

Reet finds a match:

Subject-X is no longer a child. He's now 17 — biologically enhanced, mentally unstable, trained in every form of violence.

> "He's a teenager with war in his blood."

---

ACT 3: Clash at Siliguri

Black Squad intercepts the convoy in a fog-choked rail tunnel.

A furious, cinematic sequence unfolds:

Imran disables the tunnel locks.

Zoya faces off with merc snipers.

Qazi confronts Subject-X — the boy looks at him with cold, glassy eyes.

> Subject-X: "You signed my death. But they made me stronger."

An intense hand-to-hand fight. Qazi refuses to use a gun. He fights barehanded.

In a critical moment, Qazi disables the neural node inside Subject-X's spine — the thing controlling him.

The boy collapses. Not dead. Just… free.

> "I was never a weapon. Just a boy they never named."

Qazi whispers: "Your name is Arhaan."

---

ACT 4: Closure

Back in Delhi, the Ministry of Defence agrees to bury the Astra files permanently.

Subject-X (Arhaan) is sent to a secure rehabilitation center.

Raaka is transferred to Tihar under a special war-crime protocol.

Subject-06 is never recovered. The mercs failed. But his vault… is gone.

The MOD gives Black Squad permanent authority to operate across India as an elite crime-solving division — with Qazi reinstated as national commander.

---

EPILOGUE – HQ BOARDROOM

New board. New cases. Fresh files.

Zoya pins a new card:

> "Case 086 – The Dancer's Death"

(A classical dancer murdered on stage. Suspect: her own student. Motive unclear.)

Qazi walks in.

The camera pans to the full squad — Reet, Zoya, Imran, a new young tech officer named Pratap, and Qazi at the center.

> Qazi: "No more monsters. No more labs.

Just crime. Just justice."

Final shot — a flickering screen in a hidden location.

A signal blips on… Subject-06's heartbeat.

Still alive.

THE END of ASTRA ARC

THE BEGINNING of the new Black Squad era.
